Accepted on 1/29, 2/12 received email to verify did it on portal, letter sent on 2/23 to verify again, As of date 2/25, received letter on 3/8 and verified, transcript still shows n/a on top 2, WMR shows “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” since 2/12, 3/21 WMR shows “We have received your tax return and it is being processed” on 3/22/24 still no change to transcript showing N/A on top 2 only change is as of date changing to 4/8.

Wife called the advocate service and agent on the line said she could only see the 150 code? No clue what is going on but this is getting crazy. Our youngest son was declared by the state as disabled and we lost our car before Christmas. Now we are waiting for Lord knows how much longer on this return before we can buy a car. We have 6 kids and this is getting overwhelming.

I am so glad i waited in that line to verify 3/16 , All 4 transcripts are loaded up and codes other than the 810 are there…I have the 150 for processing 4/8 806 W2/1099 for 4/15
i still have the 810 for 2/29/24 but other codes weren’t there and my other transcript weren’t filled out. My 2023 summary is listed when i log and my as of date is 4/8/2024. i am hoping i made it in enough time for next weeks batch

Yay! I just got my ddd for 03/27/24. Filed 2/19, Accepted 2/19/24. WMR went from still being processing on Thursday morning to Your tax return is being processed. At 2 am today, all my boxes except Wage transcript is filled and my Account Transcript show the sweet 846-3/27/24.😋

My friend did not get asked about dependents birthday so everyone may be diff but she got asked for other the stuff I gave as well but took 10 mins said your verification was approved

@810freezeguy- check your state on irs..gov for Saturday face to face help . All states are open one Saturday a month with no appt and for walk in . I live in fl my apt was 5/6/24 and I walked in 3/16 got verified in 10 mins but be prepared for a wait . Got there an hour before open and wait for 4 hours

@810feezeguy , also just an fyi there is one Saturday a month your local office is open to verify, I’m in fl my apt is 5/6/24 and found out they have Saturday help once a month and 3/16/24 went down and verified in person but be prepared for a wait next Saturday nation wide is 4/13 and I wait for 4 hours for 10mins ….and was there an hour before they open

@810freezeguy An admin in here gave the helpful advice of contacting your congressman. I did that and I have gotten more movement in less than a week than I have in almost two months. Nothing has updated on my transcripts but at least I have someone now working on it and confirmed that they did not see anything wrong with my taxes. So, that would be my suggestion for you. Try and see if that works. I don’t know if anything will be resolved but at least it’s a start.

I received the same thing from Turbo Tax. If they dont receive their money by a certain time due to a refund delay they automatically take it out of your account. So I don’t believe it’s a good sign. They just want their money.

I just received an email from the staff member that is helping me with this from the state representatives office and he was informed by who I am assuming is the advocate, that they did not see anything wrong with my return and that they are going to reach out to the IRS for an explanation and if not, to release my return. The stress just flew out my body, when I heard that. So grateful.

I filed 3/9 and was rejected at first due to an I-PIN missing error issue I was getting. I did the online tool I-pin because I obviously forgot I had one. Ok so fixed that went in and resubmitted my return only to get rejected again. Still an I-pin issue but a dependent, so I figured it had to be my sister since I had no identity related issues with my daughter.

So had her to the id.me thing to get verified to get an I-pin resubmitted again and got accepted.

Been waiting since 1/29 with verify status since 1/31. After 3 letters supposedly sent I finally went to the IRS open house on 3/16 in Cincinnati. Waited for 2 hours in line (Showed up 20 minutes before opening) just to have them verify my ID in about 5 minutes. Man was nice and told me to wait the typical 90 days but said it could be sooner. Still no update to my WMR or transcripts though.

I read how the IRS changed the software or system for Employers to upload Wage Reports this year and how it’s a process in and of itself to create a new account and register to use it….The alternative is snail mail….

Who knows if that is true and by how much, sounded reasonable though?

Filed & Accepted 1/31. Have the usual 570 for 3/11 & 971 for 3/18. Called the IRS today and spoke with an agent, she advised me that the letter was mailed out on 3/18 and gave the usual 120 days spill. She did say there was no verification needed and that she was gonna try to expedite the case.

5 hours later I finally get an email but it’s from TurboTax saying that my CreditKarma account would be debited by 4/12. Is this a good sign?

I have my notifications set to online and by mail. I have 3/18 beside the 971 code but I didn’t receive my letter electronically. I’m sure it will just be the CP05 letter that says 60 days…at this point they can just keep their postage until they release my refund. 🙄

TT sent email saying they took their funds. TPG states funded 3/19 but shows posted 3/20—this!! Over $300 thrown away yearly just for them to still hold funds. Promise I have learned my lesson.

Thanks everyone. I checked the transcripts and I am still at 570. Filed 2/2 and 570 date of 3/4. Haven’t been sent a letter or anything saying need to verify. I really hope it gets done this week. We are a 0705 processing weekly I guess.
