Is it safe to say that everybody’s guessing and all guesses have been wrong thus far AND the guesses change with each passing day?
Good morning conspiracy theorists
2017, the processing date on my transcript was 3/6.
2018, the processing date was 2/19.
2019, the processing date was 2/11.
This year, the processing date is 2/17.Each year, I received my refund on 2/22.
What does that mean for me? :-)

Girlvet86 nope – my transcript has 2/17 as a processing date. No one here knows anything. Just making stuff up.
@kiwki Well there’s nothing important to see there anyway imo
momjess, Once again, that’s a lie. I did not use an account number to register b/c IT DIDNT ASK FOR ONE. Once you select CREATE ACCOUNT and press CONTINUE, the next screen tells you what you’ll need to complete registration and it DOES NOT SAY AN ACCOUNT NUMBER. I’m convinced ppl here just talk. Has anyone actually gone to the CREATE ACCOUNT link and read??
Choose Federal Tax and leave the acct nmbr field BLANK. Just like the instructions in the question mark states. Press GO.
Ive never used an account number to access transcripts.
Irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
Choose GET TRANSCRIPT ONLINE
if you havent created an acct, click CREATE ACCOUNT
The next page tells you what you need and doesnt mention anything about an account number.Once you’ve created the account, login with username and password. Enter 6 digit number that they will text you. Press Continue twice. Choose Federal Tax from dropdown. Leave field blank. Press GO.
@lisa, once again, that’s wrong lol … omg this is unbelievable…Im dumbfounded
Also to register, you don’t need an account number.
(Straight from the IRS site)
Please have the following information and materials to complete registration:
Full Name
Email
Birthdate
Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
Tax filing status
Current address
@jstarrn No you do not. And if you click the question mark near that field, it tells you that you can leave it blank. Which is how I view my transcripts.
I’ve seen countless posts on FB and here about ppl having trouble accessing transcripts online due to not having a valid acct number and I’ve yet to see a right answer….an account number is NOT NEEDED…just choose “Federal Tax” from the drop down, leave the field blank, and click Continue.
