The person that posted that the banks hold it is absolutely true. They see it on their end but they earn interest on our money while it’s in their coffers. Sometimes you can call up the bank and they will release it but usually they won’t.
typically, I have my fees taken from my refund and its always SBTPG. I never 1 time got my refund early that way. Always on the exact DDD. This year I paid the fees up front, thank God. I been reading the stories about the bank issues. Thats awful.
I would say, I am hoping for a DD before the 22nd but thats wishful thinking.
846 code with a DDD 2-22. WMR no update. It always lags behind it seems by a couple days. See you guys next tax year.
@busterbrown. Exactly right. I’m the same cycle code as you,and most times I am a weekly. But last year I was an 04…daily. This time I’m back to 05 but still daily.

Same here MOMZ. I was accepted 1/23 but my as of is 2/12. Processing date is 2/19 for me. Pather. I think we might see movement after midnight tonight. Maybe a DDD and code 846 by Monday.

I have the 846 as well this morning. My cycle ends with 04 this year. Weird because I been a 05 cycle for 10 years. I am also a pather. I must say, glad they hired more agents. Things seem to be moving better this year. Things are finally returning close to the norm schedule pre-covid…pertaining to the refund timing and such. We sure need the $ badly due 2 the cost of living being higher.

Congrats! yeah WMR is notoriously slow to update. SOMETIMES it updates like 1 week after u have the funds.. Its not really a great gauge. The transcripts are the best way. I bet u will have the $ by the 26th.

I have the same cycle code this year. Which is Daily. Same 846 DDD as u. The path message is still there but I think sometime today it may lift. Weds/Thurs next week we will see the $ in our accounts. Never before presidents day(Monday). Thats been my experience the last 7 years since the path act.
I paid fees up front. I never get funded until about 2-3 days after presidents Day. I’m thinking Weds or Thursday we should see the DD pending.

WMR is very unreliable and behind. I am a daily, and pather. ending cycle is 04. Accepted/filed 1/23. I think maybe by this evening the transcripts will be updated. My wages aren’t showing yet. Everything else is. My as of date is 2/13. I never get my refund til 2 days after presidents Day which is Monday. If it happens before that I will be surprised.
my as f date is 2/13/23 so I am thinking some of us might see DD around the 18th earliest especially if we paid the fees up front like we did.
Gonna overpay/prepay bills, new clothes and shoes for the family and maaybe a small gift to myself. Maybe.
Same here. Might ay my mortgage up by 3 months in advance, then pay off my remaining car loan,thus eliminating my car payment.
After my transcripts updated yesterday, woke up this morning and have the PATH on WMR🙄. The As of Date still says, 2/13, maybe I’ll get a DDD before than.🤞
they can’t release funds before the as of date if you are a Pather like myself. I have the same date. I think the 15th we should start seeing funds hitting accounts.
paying down bills, loans, then will be broke again by april. Then the cycle starts all over again.

What does “processing date” mean? Mine says 2/13/23.

Yes I just received an as of date 2/13/2023 this morning. Cycle 2023404. I am a Pather. I must say this is the quickest we ever received a DDD. Was accepted 1/24. Filed 1/21. We have all the credits. Anyone else?

No sign of RAL either…same here, except I used eztaxreturn.com. TT irritated me 2 years back. Excessive fees. I just cant believe we already have a bar at wmr. That happened to us back in 2015 and we had the refund in 4 days. Was just unreal.
I think I’m in the test batch. Filed Friday afternoon. Married, filed jointly, all the credits. Path act. I already have 1 bar on wmr. That never happens for us. I paid the fee up front this time rather than having it come out of the refund. No accepted message yet on the tax website. Anyone else have this same sitch?
for the banking institutions not releasing the $ in a timely manner, wonder what their next excuse will be? They runnin out of loopholes for us to have to jump threw to get answers and to get our dang refunds!
SBTPG updated in full yesterday, but here we are the 24th, and my bank has nothing so far. Just dumb. I’m getting irritated. IRS did their job, SB sent the funds Weds, and the bank is STILL not released my $!!!

just updated to funded as well. My credit union still shows nothing pending. I never get it until the exact day of. If I do I will update.
My Credit Union posted a disclaimer on their site stating basically that we need to stop asking about our refunds as they can’t release the refunds until they are allowed to. Which isn’t being honest. Banking institutions are crime riddled mobster outfits that control everything.
Banks/Bankers do what they do for a reason. Thats how they control the peasants like all of us. They get richer while we have 2 wait for our crumbs when they see fit. Its the way of the world. Its disgusting but a fact. I’m all for Capitalism, but not at the expense of honest folks that are hurting. We MIGHT see some $ Thursday morning.
Just checked mine as well. Same thing. Everything is blank(unknown). This is a good thing guys. It means they are working on our refunds. I been doing this many years and dealing with this bank etc…trust me when I say they aint gonna release funds early. It will be the day of. But we might be able to see the red/green circle by this afternoon on the site.
@joycelyn Usually they complete their updates 1 day before the refund hits your bank/card. Many times you will see some progress 2 days ahead. I’m thinking by this afternoon after 2:30 we might start 2 see movement on the site. Sadly, we wont see refunds til the 24th.
Anyone know why the SBTPG website keeps glitching. When it initially loads it shows info it hadn’t before (cash advance) and then 10-15 seconds later it all disappeared and goes back to the same info as before. Is it just updating or what?

Just realize guys, the banks have us by the short hairs. We MUST wait til the 24th before we see a dime. I been doing my taxes the same since 2013 and its never been early except 1 time in 2015 in the test batch. The bank (SBTGP) earns interest. They wont release anything til the exact day, not a minute before. I do not recommend turbo tax. They are expensive and the customer service is shoddy. I switched this year finally and cut my fees in half. I wish I had better news on refunds etc.
My cycle code is 20220505, I have a 846 refund date of 02/24/2022. My <span id=”IL_AD2″ class=”IL_AD”>question</span> is are they’re anyone using Bank Of America and if so do they hold deposits or release them when they receive them? Also on WMR it has same date but it reads BY 02/24/2022 so it may be earlier than that, right?

I have a DD of the 24th Hoping to see it tomorrow but now reading all this SBTPG horror stories has me thinking maybe not but my bank does advertise they teamed up with turbo tax this year to get taxes 2 days early so we shall see
TT is terrible. Expensive. I stopped using them this year finally. Yes, they indeed are teamed up with them. TT gets their fees long before we get our $. Which is why I made the switch this year.
I think its possible we will see the infamous red circle on the SBTPG sight later today or in the morning. That said, My experience has always been they NEVER release my refund until that exact day on the transcripts. I bank with a Credit Union so they have never released my refund before the exact day listed.
yeah guys, everything is likely OK. SBTPG does this each year..and its glitchy as heck but usually, at least for me, about 2-3 days after Presidents Day our refund hits and fees show up as taken about 1-2 days prior. We usually have the fees taken from the refund. We are cycle 20220505. DDD 2/24 846 THIS MORNING.

just updated. I am cycle 20220505. ,pather. As of changed from 2/21 to March 07. Now have a 846 refund issued of 2/24/2022.
That’s my cycle code as of date 2/21 my wrm says processing but my transcripts say did 2/22
Eventually when I can gain access to my scripts, I think my DDD will also be 2/22. Which means we will get the refund around Tues/weds due 2 the Federal holiday Monday. This Happens to me every year.
The system would update tonight for us cycle code 05 are on Thursday.

I don’t fault anyone this year for trying to see their transcripts.This may be the hardest financial hardship crisis in decades. People are buried and trying to dig out. This $ will be a boost to the morale. A small blessing might be if we get the refund even a 1 day earlier than we typically might. This is the first time we been late paying the mortgage payment since we bought our home in 2015. Its been humbling. We all trying 2 just survive. God Bless all, praying. Lets update each other.
@WhiteWolf, We have the exact same cycles. Same acceptance date and credits. Mine now also says being processed with the amount to the left. Now we wait. Transcripts still down for me as well. I always receive the DD and refund 1 day or 2 after presidents Day. Never fails. Hoping it hits this weekend.yes, back in 2015. The test batch, and I think it was the very first year of the new IRS Law. I had all the credits, MFJ…the works. I filed end of Jan, Had my refund Feb 4th. Nothing updated til 2 weeks after the fact. Never occurred again btw.

Filed my daughters Taxes, same thing occurred. She mistakenly claimed it, as she did get it. She Realized it after I submitted her return .

I just received the very same letter. Its purely for your records so u can know exactly how much stimmy money u received . its letter 6475.OR your advance child tax credit letter telling u how much u received. That will be letter 6419. . This site explains. KEEP THESE LETTERS. They are important in case there is any issue.

NOW THE DREADED PATH MESSAGE. Received my refund early just 1 time, in 2015 in test batch. My experience is they never refund even 1 day earlier than the as of date with us PATHERS.

when u get the letter, check the return if you already filed. Make sure the amounts match. I’m fairly sure you have nothing to stress about as long as you know. Update us when u get the letter.
Letter 6475 and 6419. These are vital records. KEEP THEM if u receive 1 or both. Make sure the amounts in the letters match what you filed. If that is wrong, it will delay your refund. We received them before we filed and we double checked. Everything did match. The home page n this site explains it better.
cycle c. is 2022505. Been the same for us the entire time. 2/21 is the as of date with the amount listed. pather. filed 1/21,accepted 1/24, 1 bar since 1/25. The DDD will likely be that day.

My transcripts updated Friday 2/4 with my refund amount, processing date of 2/21/2022 with the same as of date. This morning WMR updated to the path message. So far everything this year has moved according to the norm. Last year I didnt get a refund update til March..

MFJ, Filed 1/21,accepted 1/24. pather, all the usual credits. Transcripts just changed from single to Married filed jointly but still says no transcript filed. lol So at least there is movement.
