Accepted 1/24Expecting an update on transcripts today. I got nothing on the federal levels. Still showing N/A
I did get my state refund approved though.
Any chance weekly’s will update overnight?

Last year my DDD was the 22nd and I got a deposit on the 17th. Friday, before President day. Hopefully it will be the same this year.Accepted in Jan 23. Transcripts updated today with a refund date of Feb 7th. I’m normally a pather.
So this morning my message said, “Your return has been processed and the refund has been issued. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the refund to be received.” I’m very interested to see how this pans out.

My transcripts updated. My cycle code is 20240505 and processing date is 2/19. Any chance it can be deposited Friday the 16th? Presidents’ Day is always in the way haha

I’m not sure they’ve ever given me a processing date… is that new? I seem to remember it was always as-of April 15th until PATH lifted

Accepted 1/19If you need to verify your identity you don’t need to wait on the letter you can create an intime account and look under letters and it will be there you can also check and see if you been audited or if your taxes are under review
I waited nine weeks.. called because I didn’t get my refund or a notice, only to be told there was a system error and my identity hadn’t actually been verified like it said online. Finally got someone with some sense on the phone who said I had to go in person to verify, instead of waiting another two weeks for a letter. Went to the office, in and out in five minutes… And told I had to wait ANOTHER NINE WEEKS. Be end of March before that runs out..
So just checked the updated transcript and I have an 846 for 2/7!!

@cinammon, I am in the same boat with it being my first year claiming the American opportunity credit and unfortunately WMR is showing the “still processing” message now. From some other posts it seems as though that means an issue with my tax return. I hope it’s not a huge delay!
@mamabear39 Hello. Would you please tell me when your transcripts populated? I am a PATHer, accepted to TB also. My Account Transript and Wage Transcripts are available but unpopulated. The “As of” date is there, but I know it is simply as estimated 21 day processing time frame and is not relevant in determining refund date. My wage information, as reported on my 2023 tax return, did show in my SSA account last week though.

I’ve found that it usually takes about two weeks for the return to hit your banka barring any issues with your return. Last year my return was accepted on the 28th of January and I received my return on February 10th. So if it still follows the same pattern then we should see returns hit on the 14th or 15.
Filed on 1/28 (late night, so it may as well have been the 29th). HRB, fees paid up front, PATHer.
WMR updated the next day, late day. 1 bar, hasn’t moved. Today, my account transcript showed up, but is blank. No return transcripts yet.
I claimed a credit this year that I’ve never claimed before for college expenses, the American Opportunity credit or somesuch. So I’m nervous that it will cause a delay.
Hi guys. So long story short I went to file my taxes this year only to find out someone stole my social and kids and filed before me somehow. I filed a paper return and mailed it along with the identity theft forms. Has anyone been thru this or know what to expect ? It’s been so upsetting. I also called IRS to let them know of the fraudulent return.
Called my Emerald card said funds will be loaded tomorrow. Which is ridiculous because I see other people post that they had it yesterday and the day after. It says “sender will make funds available to your card tomorrow” which it should say “we have your funds but won’t be made available to you until tomorrow.” It was sent 1/29 shouldn’t take so long
accepted 1/24 no update. This time last year I had my refund. The last few years have been quick. Hopefully an update in 24 hours.
Update: I called to verify if they had received my documents that I uploaded on the FTB website. I was told that my documents have been received and they would be forwarded to the right department and I would receive my refund within 60 days. Anyone else waiting on a verification?
I just looked and my DDD has been on fridays…last year my bf updated on Tue with DDD for following Friday but got it next day on Wednesday d/t using chime…so I’m thinking DDD will be next Friday 1/9 and hopefully get it Wed 1/7
if you are a father and live in Washington state, the Washington Working Families Credit applications opened today on the .gov site. we dont file state taxes, so we dont have our own thread under the state taxes section, but you can go apply online for the credit and potentially get a refund!

I filed with turbo tax and was accepted into a test batch. my transcripts are showing updated and all codes present except for 846 ddd. processing date says feb 19
UPDATE from 1/31 6:00pm: Votes passed in The House of Representatives. Now it moves on to the Senate. It is still NOT a law. If it is even passed in both chambers of Congress, IRS still has to implement it.

@Amerie: according to the IRS Commissioner’s statement they will send the difference and taxpayers will not have to do anything.

12,8,6 and 4 ..if they increase the child tax credit will then be sending the difference or will I have to wait until next year to get it 🤷🏽♀️ because I already filedAnyone get their states taxes yet ? If so what date was it accepted

I filed was accepted 1/23 can’t view transcripts and wmr never updates or will after I get deposit usually. My question I have fees coming out of return. Does H&R make deposits before date they are do? Keep watching my bank figure will be any day as I am non path.

Hi all! 1st time filing any state taxes. Had to wait until 1/31/24 to file w/ TT for partial yr resident. Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated! filed Fed 1/29/24 still pending. just wondering about how long it takes to see movement on WMR on state? I’ve heard once accepted by state DDD takes about a week.

I got accepted to a test batch this year. I was so excited until I realized I still have PATH act. I feel like Im ahead though. My transcripts are populated and one bar on wmr. I hope I can keep the momentum until Feb 15. Blessings to you! Hope we get it in a flash !
