They aren’t lying. I have a DDD of 1/29 as well.
It’s seriously pathetic how low we as a country and species have fallen. When someone says something everyone assumes they are lying about it until given physical proof of it.

This site is for idiots because when someone post something legit they’re still accused of lying. So believe it or not but I have my info so you wait for yours. Anybody else that want to find out send your email address or leave me alone either way I don’t care.
@chiinadollmimi Yes, quality review is the next stage. The IRS timeline goes like this (they try to keep this timeline but of course, it’s not perfect)
Up to 10 days in the processing phase. Up to 2 days in quality review phase. This is where the reviewer double checks everything to make sure it was done correctly in the processing phase and that nothing was missed or catch any errors. Once that is done, it’s cleared for refund approval. Now, your file can be flagged for review during the processing phase if errors are found. But if that’s the case, you should get other messages in WMR.
Accepted on the 11th. No change in status and can’t order transcripts.
Welp, no update here for me. But I’m on a weekly cycle so they should be processing mine on Thursday evening. And if nothing goes wrong, I should get a DDD Friday morning. Last year my return was processed Thursday evening, got a DDD Friday morning and the money was in my account that Sunday (I know. I thought that was odd too).
Filed the 6th and was accepted on the 11th. I’m guessing the next batch will be approved on Friday, and will get theirs either Monday or Wednesday.
They usually deposit on Fridays. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone accepted before the 19th gets theirs the 29th.
Keep checking throughout the day. I’m positive they will be approving a lot of people.The site never seems to go down for me. I can always access it.

@chiinadollmimi It means your return is currently under review. That could mean that it’s processing and it flagged for something something or it’s done being processed and in the quality review stage.

Yes. The website is updating as well. I couldn’t check it either. I’m on the West coast so I’m 3 hours behind their updating schedule.

Some more information if you can understand it.
Also, even though tax season officially began on January 19th, actual production (processing of returns) didn’t begin until cycle week 4 (this week). So this week is when people should start seeing an update and a DDD. If you’re on a weekly cycle, you won’t see any updates until Friday. So you won’t get your refunds until next week at the earliest if you’re weekly.
The IRS process returns in 2 groups. The ones who are in the daily group can get processed any day of the week (the master file). But those in the weekly group only gets processed once a week, on the last day of the week. The IRS week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday. So those on a weekly cycle only gets processed on Thursdays, which means it doesn’t get processed until the Thursday of that posting cycle. IRS cycles are in 3 phases. Processing, Production, Posting.
In the past, you can see what cycle you are on by looking at your transcript. And if it ended in 05, it means you are on a weekly cycle. The processing cycle code is 8 digits. The first 4 digits is the year. The second 2 is the week, and the last 2 is the processing day of the week. Because the IRS week begins on Friday, Friday is designated as 01 and Thursday being 5 because it is the last day of the week. Weekends are non-processing days.
More periods than I’ve had in the last 5 years!
File my 2015 tax return 1/19/16. Got accepted the same day. My state refund is only showing that the process has been accepted and is being reviewed. It says to allow 8-12 weeks for processing. I’ve been trying to log onto the WI “where’s my refund” site all day but it won’t load. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
i filed with jackson hewitt on 1/19 and accepted later that day. Im still at the same one bar on WMR. Also on the Jackson Hewitt website its only showing that the IRS has acknowledged my return. I’ve tried checking the status of my WI state return but I haven’t got the site to load all day long. Holding out that there will be an update tomorrow.
I filed on 1/12 and got accepted about 30 mins later. Any ideas on when I’ll receive my refund

I called today to the IRS and they looked at my account and they told me i have my DDD 1/29 this Friday but my WMR is still 1 bar !!!

And i gave them my new address and they verified me with it. Not my old one.
My old address is pulling up the transcripts tho … but 2015 isn’t available.. Any idea?I don’t have any info on the where’s my refund link, but on MY FTB, it says processed now (updated today) but there are $0.00 everywhere for credits. So IDK if that means it still has to be finalized and sent, but it’s a step.
@bob turbotax had a bug, and it was addressed by them. We all wondered too.
I double checked my return and I have the correct routing number and account number so I guess I will just wait and see if it is in my account in the morning.
