Hi, I got the same message and it’s been over a week now. I see my transcript in the IRS site and it looks like they have my amount different from what I filed my tax return with on TT.

I see people mentioning an error referenced by IRS, what is the error specifically?

I am concerned they amended my return but even if they did I should not be getting as low as they are stating it would. I am very confused.

I filed back on Saturday Feb 19th. The next day my return was accepted. I thought that my transcripts weren’t going to be updated until next week but I just checked for the first time and I saw the 846 code with a “refund issued” and a date of 3/1/22. This is how the numbers went:

Everyone’s situation is different so maybe something little for you but definitely if it’s passed your 21days I would call maybe you can get it resolved over the phone! I’ve called over three times now and there saying wait for letter nothing I can do but wait!

Happy for y’all but you know how many of us file on time and for no reason end up waiting sometimes months.I blows my mind seeing those who get their DD at this warp speed. There’s no genuine hate but it’s pretty damn frustrating seeing it when the rest of us deal with the same drawn out shit every year. We’re u able to see your transcripts just look and make sure there are no codes my bar went away and has been say for about two weeks now being processed looked up my transcripts had codes 971/570 letter and hold. Hopefully yours is in a better situation!

No no don’t worry. If you’re getting the “we’ve received your refund and it’s being processed” message it’s perfectly normal. I’m pretty sure it means that they are doing just that,processing your refund,and it’ll update eventually to 2 bars/approved providing no issues. How long it is until your approved though I can’t say,sometimes it’s quick,sometimes it can be a month.

It blows my mind seeing so many with DDD and others that have already received their refund. Mine went “your refund is being processed” on the 21 days after being accepted. I can’t fathom what’s any different about me from everyone else EVERY year. I’m always filed and waiting well ahead of time and I’m not hating on anyone getting they’re money,power to y’all,but it drives me insane seeing it while it’s the same story with me every time.

The people answering tge phone will litterly tell you maximum time frame and you can have better luck having your palm read and that’s just facts it’s rare to have decent person say what’s going on but the time frames are phoney I read parts of the manual and it says “tell the caller 30 days to call back and if it’s been 30 days tell them 30 more days”

Accepted 1/26…. So do you all mean the 570 code and 971 on transcript? My WMR has not updated and in fact bar went away. Transcript has been available for over a week saying processing date 3/7. But I do see these codes at the bottom of transcript with 3/7 date does that mean I need to contact someone?

That 570 code seems to be pretty common these days , and means your refund is on hold and being reviewed!
I’m so irritated.

I finally got my DDD for 2/28 after 4pm today. I got accepted 1/24 then it went to further review for a week then back to processing for 3 weeks… glad that’s over! See you all next year. Hoping everyone who hasn’t updated yet will do so overnight.

But, take comfort in knowing that your refund is more than likely going to be in your account within the next few days at the least, and that you are not still waiting like the vast majority of those who filed already. 👍🏽

Most banks will hold it for 48 hours, but then you have those like SBT that will try to hold it for 7 days. Banks make more money doing this, and they suck for that.

No. It means that SBT is holding it for fees to be taken (if needed) for the tax software or company that did your taxes, or it could be that they are holding it for a few days time just to clear the payment (which is a lie, because payments for refunds should be considered guaranteed; especially if it’s from the government) and they are just being douchbags about giving you access to your money.

Wmr say still processing. Transcript has as of date 3/7/22 code 971 and 570..I actually got a rep on the phone today and she said I made a math error recovery rebate credit and they made a adjustment and I’ll get a letter later on with more info but the computer fixed it and I just have to wait for it to finish processing and hopefully transcript will update to 846 soon. I pray tonight because I think I’m a weekly my cycle code ends in 05 .

WMR or transcripts with a DDD if it still shows same information to keep checking on weekly basis preferably over the weekends when it updates. Usually it take 4 to 6 weeks for a refund to be released when the hold is removed. Let’s just stay positive and hoping we all get an update over the weekend

I spoke to a representative today she did say that the processing date on the transcript is when the cpt letter will go out showing the adjustment that was made to your refund. Also check over the weekend to see if there has been an update on

Nothing at all man. My as of date is showing 2/28/22 so I was going to give it until Monday or Tuesday to call. I haven’t received any letters or 971 code to say a letter is even coming.

I had 570 in 2020 and 571 popped up about a week later and I received my refund shortly after. I was hoping for the same this year but I guess not.

So you filed without claiming the advanced child tax credit hoping you would slip through a crack. Then you knowingly took a refund advance from TT against what you knew was the wrong amount on your return. Now you are worried about the possible repercussions for committing fraud against a company that literally has all of your financial info.

Ok. I have the same issue. I finally spoke with someone today. It will be at ur best interest to keep calling until u get through.
My 570 was a reduced amount, I claim the 1400 stimulus but, however; the lady stated that they sent it out last year so they went in and deducted the 1400. She said I will receive my tax return 2 weeks from today or before.

Talked to irs. They stated that accounts are selected randomly to go through reviews and mine was one of them. 03-07-2022 date next to the 570 code is date 45 day hold begins and call back if refund is not received by April 21. Return could be processed sooner. Keep checking WMR and transcript and check mail for any possible notices.
