As of Date moved from 2/21 to 3/7

I’m cycle 0505 and have been waiting patiently for PATH to drop and get an update today. The only update is that my As Of date moved from 2/21 to 3/7. WTF?

Mine did the same thing. I’m an 0505 also but I have a DDD of 2/24

Just fyi y’all The As Of date is simply the date your penalties and interest are calculated to if you have a balance. It’s calculated out to the future in case someone wants to mail their check in rather than pay online. It has absolutely nothing to do with your refund.

As I’ve waited this past year (and still waiting) for an amendment I’ve noticed the as of date changes throughout the year. Mine from last year has as of Sept 2021. So it can change with your DDD staying the same. My as of date changed to 3/7 and 846 DDD is 2/24 and wmr also updated this morning with DDD 2/24.

I have a DD of 2/24 but under my wage box in my trans says “no returned file” also I don’t have a 766 code just code 570,768,846. I also have a processing date of 3/7. My WMR updated today to refund approved. How did I get a DDD even know my trans is not completed? I am weekly too. Ugh

Got code 846 today with ddd 2-24. Read somwhere that the processing date is the date that they set to review your taxes. If you pass that date u are good . If they change that date it doesn’t mean that ur not good just that they gave themselves more time to review it. And it doesn’t mean that u can’t get a ddd befor that time.

Mine changed as well to this date, but also got the 846 with DDD of 2/24 so happy right now

Check the bottom of your account transcript for an 846.

I also got resequenced with no 846. 😭😭 I’m holding out hope that it will randomly update later today (last year mine did a second update in the middle of the day). Probably not, though. 😭😭
