Still no moment movement on my end. Hopefully I’ll update overnight, if not I’ll be calling tomorrow until I get someone to push it through.

Accepted 1/16Has one seen any DDD hit their accounts yet? Mine was authorized on 1/25 hoping it hits tonight like previous years (5 days after approval)
@taxinvader I filed 1/29 accepted 1/19. No update since then.
Using TT, got my w2, my HSA and 401k stuff etc. TT is telling me my form for my electric vehicle isn’t ready but there is no date listed and the form was avail as of Jan 24 according to irs. Anyone else have an EV tax credit with this issue?
Finally accepted to state last night.

I filed couple weeks ago. Still says refund received. Maybe they update tomorrow? I already exceeded my attempts so maybe JH will send an email if it is accepted today?
Update: As stated, I got this msg as well. I followed the steps to verify online, and ID.me stated “Not able to provide assistance”…despite my license up to date. I spoke to the IRS this am. They say letters will be sent starting today on this issue. You will need the control # off the letter to verify identity. Fun!
I submitted our taxes last night before opening date through Turbo Tax and requested the refund advance. However, our return isn’t even accepted yet. I understand there’s a backlog of people waiting but my anxiety levels are high because of needing the advance for family emergencies. Is there anyone else who isn’t accepted yet either?
Happened to me last year. Not waiting for that this year though with all the verifications happening. I’m more expecting that to happen.
Any chance of getting a surprise deposit before WMR or transcripts even update? I feel like that’s happened before… Or must there be a transcript update before money is sent out?
Have filed same job, same child, for 9 years in a row. I ALWAYS get accepted seconds after filing. Filed this year later than normal 1/27. No messages no emails and IRS says “account not found”. NEVER had that before.

@Milly I don’t think it matters if you pay it or let them take it out, it won’t hold it up
The As Of date is like a “bookmark” for the IRS. A placeholder perhaps. It is a date that is used in the system so that some sort of action happens by that date. If no action has occurred, that date will change.
I thought the irs was not accepting until the 29th. How are you guys able to check your status? I g8ked my taxes yesterday and I have not gotten an email saying they were accepted and when I check on wmr it says information not found

ME TOO. I had one bar, and I’m a Pather. I’ve never had to verify. It linked me to ID.me, which I have had active for 4 years. When I attempted, it said “Identity Verification Tool not available”, and linked me back to WMR. I didn’t receive a letter. Good luck.

I filed 1/19 . federal has already been accepted but state is still pending?? . Any update Lala?
My state refund is offset for unemployment overpayment but they said it will only affect state refund as the overpayment is due to non fraud on my behalf. Is this accurate?

I apparently owe MA 40 dollars in taxes.. should I pay that before I file or will they just take it out of my return. I don’t need any hold ups lol

My state got accepted 1/26, still saying not found though on MA connect…My federal got accepted 1/19 but I’m on path…I tried looking at last year and I posted I got a DDD of 2/8 for federal but was on path last year to 🤔
Still only 1 bar in WMR, Topic 152 was replaced with:

Has anyone ever experienced this? My Account transcript was available yesterday as well, but is pretty much blank. As of date 2/12. A little worried.
I filed my taxes and was accepted on the 16th. I checked WMR today and it said that iI needed to Verify my identitiy. I did not receive a letter as of yet. In all the years I’ve filed my taxes Ive never received an identity verification letter. What type of letter do you think I will receive? I claim two dependents, one of which is a college student and head of household. I didnt file my taxes last year because I did not work unfortunately. Please help!

Im a weekly.
My tax transcript was updated today with all the 2023 information and has a ddd of 1/31No path or other things
@Lovely_Missive I filed on the 11th with FreeTax and was accepted on the 16th as well. I’m an 05 weekly and not Path. No advance and prepaid fees. Just this morning my transcript updated to 2023 in the Account section but it’s blank except for As Of: Feb 12, 2024. I think some people might see an update today or later tonight into tomorrow, but based on last year, i probably won’t see an update until next week at the earliest.
My As of Date of 2/12 is exactly 21 days from when I filed. Hopefully I will see a deposit by or before that date.
@Don I just filed through calfile. I had to verify my employment by sending in check stubs last year. I have the same job, do you think they’ll make me verify again?
Filed with TT on the 11th and IRS accepted my return on Jan 16th, non-pather. Paid fees on TT and no advance or anything. Any ideas?
Once turbo taxes glitch allows them to efkie my state it will get rejected because I already submitted it through calfile. I have already requested a refund for my state processing from TT.

Path Act is not just about kids/dependent
Path Act does not apply to Child Tax Credit (CTC)
It only applies to refunds with Earned Income Tax Credi (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)
You can check lines 27, 28 and 19 on your 1040 to see which credits you claimed
