Hello. First time I’ve efiled with accountant. Always used snail mail. Anyway..got my dd of 2/20 and using sbbt to have fee paid. What should I be expecting now? Thx

Ok so I filed the 31st accepted the 2nd
I was able to order my transcripts as of 1 week ago
Cycle 20140605
There are 570 and 971 codes at the bottom
No update on wmr and no 1121 code

So my husband called the irs today and spoke to rep who told him the return is still processing and he just needs to wait and also said we weren’t accepted until the 4th! Wmr says something different. When we asked about the codes she said there was nothing on her end just still processing! Wtf!!!!!

@shay we are in the same boat! AAFES never sent a single solitary thing stating their intent to offset…but when we called AAFES they said oh no we haven’t requested offset, just pay the collection agency and gave us their info, which was indeed a commercial collection agency. Did you guys get your refund by any chance? I filed for injured spouse…probably won’t see my half until May but here’s to wishful thinking!

Oh yeah, I did notice this year it says ” is scheduled to be deposited “by” 2/21. I always thought it said in years past more of a “is scheduled to be deposited on 2/21.” So I am hoping that maybe it means that they will send it earlier if possible.

My DDD is 2/21. I bank with a regular hometown bank. I show nothing yet and can not call because they are closed today. I doubt I will see it early but I can hope…..Let you all know as soon as I hear something.

At nicole I have the same exact codes and cycle date as you. I calculated that if or original dd was 2/6 and we have code 846 and date 2/24/14 then 841 and date 2/24/14 that mean they issued the refund and took it back. Then another code 846 and date 3/10/2014 I believe our new dd will be 2/20/2014 . I came up with this because the 3/10/2014 is exactly 14 days from 2/24/2014. So that mean 14 days from the 2/6/2014 which is the 2/20/2014.

Filed fed on 1/16 and accepted on 1/29, state on 2/5 and accepted 2/8
I used TaxAct from home.
Fees coming out of Republic

As of 2.14 about 10:30pm I was able to order transcripts but cant see them. Had to do it by mail.

As of 2/15 got approved and DDD of the 20th and the 24th [both got approved same day]

Hopefully well see some money soon.

Mariela, the same thing happened to me on Wednesday. However I just checked it again this morning and it changed to approved along with a deposite date on Thursday. Don’t worry your lights will change. I pray that you get your refund soon. God bless

From 2-8 to 2-10 the offset line said “you have 2 offsets, your refund MAY be reduced” . My transcript was also perfect with my refund approved. WMR showed TT203 but listed my full refund amount, with no money reduced.

2-11 I called the offset line again, it said the whole amount was offset by the dept of education (my husband owes student loans). But my transcripts still showed nothing different or offset, and WMR never changed my refund amount.

2-13 My direct deposit day: Transcripts changed showing offset, WMR changed saying the offset occurred and my adjusted refund amount was $0.

Today (2-15) MyEdDebt still shows i owe them $4500 even though they intercepted my return and got 99.9 % of that money, ( we still owe them $100).

Re-check those transcripts the a day or so before your DDD, also check the offset hotline on your DDD, you’ll know then. There was a glitch earlier this tax season, but they have fixed it :(

I have the same cycle code with a date of2/13 as well. It is 4 business days from that date. You don’t count holidays. My ddd date is 2/20/2014

I got a DDD of 2/20 and was flagged for offset between the time I filed 2/3 and was approved 2/15.. I called the hotline and it said the full amount would be taken and credited to the student loan debt. Anyone get lucky and not have that happen? I find it strange I was only in default since april of last year and never recieved any warning whatsoever from the DOE or IRS. The last letter I recieved was January 15 from DFC services stating that they were trying to validate the debt. I know I owe the money, but find it a bit ridiculous that they are coming after me after 8 months.. :/

Well I never received a tax topic my wmr just told me my refund was sent to my bank account on 2/12 and to give 1-5 daus to receive I check wmr today and it say my refund was offsetted and sent to unemployment anyone have this message and still received their refund im hoping its a mistake i thought they take your state not your federal

Here is an update!!! I just found that my bar has changed, it now says approved. HOWEVER, they say that they had to make changes to my refund and gave a different amount. So I am guessing those of us that have been waiting must have some type of issue..Mine was a home buyers tax credit that is a portion of a repayment

Can anyone update on their situation? My husband has not received a letter notifying him of intent to offset or anything but when called the TOP hotline it said our refund “may” be offset…well WMR updated last night to show TT203 BUT our transcripts show nothing at all. We have a DDD of 2/20. Could anyone who was in a similiar situation please update and let me know if the IRS did end up taking back their refund after deposit? Thanks!

Same here. Filed 1/20/14…accepted in the test batch 1/27/14….still nothing…yesterday my status bar disappeared and it reads: your refund is still processing we will notify you when a refund date will be avalible.
I have a non filing letter when trying to get transcript and when calling they tell me to wait until 21 days….never had to wait ever in the last 9 years this long.

The Cycle Code means:

01 Friday
02 Monday
03 Tuesday
04 Weds
05 Thursday

So those of you with 20140705 mean:
2014 year
07 cycle week (7th week of year)
05 Thursday

then add four days for DD or six days to be placed in mail

so your estimated DDD will be Feb. 13th plus (whatever your day is for return…direct deposit of mail…..) Being Monday is a holiday it does not count, so the 19th will be DDD…. that is if there are no more system problems. Many have reported system glitches last week, which could be why the last cycle returns have been delayed.

I filed through taxact and was accepted on Jan 29. I am still at the first bar as well. So I am at 16 days. I actually broke down this morning and called. The lady I spoke to was very nice and told me that if there was something wrong with the return there would have been a notice posted and my return would have been rejected already if it were going to. She said to call back next Monday if I still had no change. It has not been 21 days yet but it sure feels as though something is wrong for it to take this long. I dont understand it either. Everyone I know has already received their refund. What is going on.

I really need some help with this issue. My WMR bar went away today! It states that my refund is still processing and a date will be provided when available. I’m shitting bricks because I need my money and this has never happened before. I filed through tax act like I always do, but now this happens. I don’t know whether to call or not. The irs still has until the 19th to approve my refund since that will be the 21 day mark, but I am worried. All my alerts cleared when I filed so I wonder what the issue may be?

So l looked at my transcript and it shows refund issued 3/3/14 how can it show issued if it is not even march yet? It shows that there was a home-buyers credit repayment of 250.00 which changed the amount of my refund…The tax place that did this did not tell me this..Should they have not known?

I’m actually in the same boat. DDD 2/12, wmr says sent, but I did not use SBBT. Mine is going straight to a walmart moneycard (that makes me nervous-I should have used regular bank account…don’t trust them!) and customer service said this morning nothing has been sent by IRS yet. I’m super frustrated as all of us are. I wish there was some kind of explanation. I’ve never had a delay like this.

Keep in mind that Monday is a bank holiday so those of us expecting a return this coming week may be off by a day. I looked at my transcripts from past years and compared them to when I got my deposit and it is in line with the time frame referenced above. That being said, I wouldn’t write checks or make transactions planning on the money being there because the IRS has been really wonky this year. The procedures of your bank or money card will also factor in. My transcript just came up today without the * next to the date, but the WMR still only shows it as received. I think the transcripts are more accurate and updated more often (it still had an * and was unfiled this morning) so I trust that more than I trust the WMR.

It’s not only SBBT. My DDD was 2/12. Woodforest National Bank has no record of it pending. WMR says that it was deposited. Used hrb to file. Will try to get in toouch with someone on Monday.

I filed on 2/2 via TurboTax and got a date quickly that I should expect to receive funds on 2/12. Well 2/12 has come and gone and still nothing. Of course I didn’t have the funds upfront so I have the fees being taken out of my refund. I check the irs site WMR and it says that funds were sent 2/12 and if I don’t have by 2/17 I should check back. I checked SBBT (as it seems many of you have) and they have absolutely no info. All it says is that refund has not been received. Seems a bit puzzling. Now this is not the first time I’ve gone this route but trust me it will be my last. I hope the rest of you waiting get your funds soon. I am giving it until Monday before I start calling IRS & SBBT.

I still don’t understand how some people I know that used TurboTax and had a date of 2/6 acutally received it on 2/7 with no problem. Will keep you all updated.

The code 20140705 means that was the day it was processed. Your DDD date is four business days from that date. So the processed date was 02/13/14, the DDD date will be Wednesday, 02/19/14, if this information is correct.

Also, SBBT brought up “the estimated 21 day timeframe to get the money from the IRS”. Leads me to believe that they are holding the money until that 21 days is up (from the time the return was accepted).

Wow, it is funny that this appears to only be a problem with people using SBBT. I just spoke to their customer service and they claim that they have not received it and that basically the IRS is lying. Hmmm, so the IRS is only lying to the people who used SBBT? I will NEVER use that service again.
