ACTC@nea the cycle code 20170505 should be the 5th week on the 5th day so going by previous years it would be February 23rd. We just have to wait to see if the cycle codes are still the same this year as they have been in previous years.
I filed the 20th and I do believe it was close to the 28th before VA even accepted it. I don’t have the exact date. I am still getting the processing message.
You won’t have a code of 846 until it has been issued. Usually after the money is sent. Your processing date and the date you receive your money are not the same days. You may be done processing the 13th but not scheduled to receive a dd until the 20th.That is just an example of days.
In previous years we could use the cycle date to determine the dd date. But that was before path act and I believe they change the cycle every year. Now the cycle date of 20170402 in previous years would have been Monday Feb. 13th. 20170405 would have been Thursday Feb. 16th.
i was under the impression it was after the irs starts accepting and processing. So the week of Jan. 23rd would start cycle codes. For example, the one you have of 20170504 would actually be the week of February 20th. And the actual date would be Feb.22nd.
Which is how so many with Path act got an 04 in the week section as that is the week of the 13th which would allow the first bath to go out the week of the 15th.Atleast that how it was in previous years. But I do wonder if the first processing week this year is a dead week. And everything isn’t pushed back a week to make up for the path act.
I just got mine Saturday as well. Filed and accepted on 01/20. My cycle is 20170402. I am wondering if these are still right though. In previous years before the Path act the cycle date was the year, week and day you would recieve your tax return. My processing date is Feb.13th but I have Path due to ACTC. So going by cycle date I would have a ddd of Feb 14th if I am not mistaken. Due to Path act I know this will not happen so I am unsure if the cycle date is incorrect now due to that or if I am mis reading it this year.

Finally a processing message on 2/1I have amended my 2014 and 2015 Tex returns this year. Both are for the college tax credit. I had to add in my 1098-T forms. So far they have been received.
2015- May 23rd
2014- May 31st.Now to wait. I am owed money and am hoping it doesn’t take the full 12 weeks for processing!
SBBT has released funds to my bank as well. Expect to see it credited first thing tomorrow morning :)

If you used turbo tax and paid (not the free edition) for it then you have fees. If you paid for the fees up front it will go directly to your bank. If you had them take it out of your return then your return will go to Santa Barbara bank and then be released to your bank.I have used SBBT for a few years now and this is how it has gone for me the last few years. The day before your ddd your return hits their bank, they take their fees and send it on immediately to your bank. Depending on when your bank credits it is when you get it. My bank USAA will credit it at the morning update so between 12-6am on 2/10 it will be in my bank account available to use. So based on that, tomorrow morning is when SBBT will show they received the return and set it to your bank/card. Hope that helps.

in previous years we could read our transcripts online and get our ddd before wmr would update.This year they only allow mailing of them. The theory behind it is, if you can get your account transcript that means they are actually in the process of processing them or have processed them so your info is available. If you can also get your return transcript it should mean your done processing and have been approved for a ddd. So long story short, if you can order both you should have a ddd at the next wmr update, if not you won’t. But the ability to order one lets you know stuff is moving :)
Was able to order account transcript yesterday 1/29 and today it tells me info doesn’t match. I was hoping for a ddd this morning but woke up to be locked out of transcripts. Hopefully it means movement!
Was able to order my account transcripts yesterday 1/29 but not my return. No update on wmr still one bar tax topic 152 etc. but now when I try to order any transcript it tells me my info is incorrect. ugh, was hoping for a ddd when I woke up.
Same here. Account but not return. Last year I got a blank account one but within a day or two it was complete and I didn’t have a delay. Hoping this one isn’t blank. I am going to check again tonight trying to order a return one and see what happens. Maybe we will get an update tonight…fingers crossed!
I filed 1/25 and was accepted 1/25 and I was able to order my account transcripts. Not return ones yet but I am going to check back with those this afternoon.

Federal still no movement, but I was able to order my transcripts today. Not my return one but my account ones so hopefully this means an update tonight :)My Virginia return updated to processed. It has no dd date or info? Just processed, weird.
Still no movement on federal but I don’t really expect any until next week. My state (va) updated to processed. No ddd, approved, denied…nothing. Just that it was processed so maybe tomorrow I will get more info about that.
For the transcripts, last year on here we used them for the ddd code. At the bottom of the transcript it said something like 20140502 which meant the 5th week of the year and the second day. Now with that being said, you would have to view the transcript to see it and I believe it was on the return one. We also used them to see if there was a freeze code or an offset code etc. So with regular transcripts I don’t believe it matters if you can order them but I believe the return one was the one with the codes etc.
Now I do have to say, this was a much nicer site last year. A lot of info can be provided on sites like these but is the nastiness really necessary? Don’t feed the trolls, ignore the people who are obviously lieing and move on. They will eventually move on as well.

I filed this morning with turbo tax and was accepted for federal within an hour. Just checked the irs2go app and I have 1 bar which is return received. State (va) was accepted this evening and no info in their site.
I got my refund. Filed the 21st, accepted the 21st, went through TT with fees taken out, cycle date 20150402 I bank with usaa, my wmr bars are still at 2 bars so not fully updated but it says today as my dd date :)
SBBT shows my fees taken and the amount sent to my bank. Nothing on my banks end yet…I bank with usaa.
I have had my fees taken out through TT for the last 3 years, last year they received it on my dd date and I had it in my account the following morning (Saturday). The 2 prior years, same day it was in my account. I bank with USAA if that helps and they tend to post pending deposits. My guess is they will get it either tomorrow or the 30th and I will have it Friday or Saturday.
Virginia state- filed 1/21, accepted 1/22 and the tracker just updated to refund processed. No dd date or anything and until today it couldn’t find my info. Hopefully soon here!
