Hey, so I filed 2/19. Did the ID verify one 3/11. Called on 3/13 and they told me I am now under income review. My transcripts have not updated. Just today I was only able to see the wages part of the transcripts.i have an 841 refund cancelled date 3/16. My cycle hasn’t changed . When should I expect a change on them? The fact that they have future dates confuses me.

I filed on January 20th and was accepted a few hours later. On February 14th I received a cp05 letter sayin I was under review. The letter was dated for February 23rd. I have not heard anything at all other than this letter. My information has been the same the past 7 years. The only thing different this year is I have Obama care but my 1095 was correct. It is very frustrating. I’m to the point I don’t care anymore it comes when it comes.

I file my taxes on January 20,2015 and then about two weeks later I received a letter from IRS stating that my taxes is under review and to not contact them into the 60 day have pass.I was so piss because I always do my taxes correct and never try to get over on it. This ruin my entire vacation plans because I was going to go up to Orlando for the theme parks and also use the money towards a car.Here I’m on vocation still waiting and checking daily on “wheres my refund” but it says the same thing “A refund date will be provided when available” I believe it already have been 52 days since I received the letter so I’m hoping my taxes come through really quickly because times are rough right now.

Well, in my case of 4644c.. it looks as if i forgot to report an irs interest payment made to me last year.. so im pretty sure thats what they may have been looking for on my return. My income and wage transcript updated today with this info. As for the wait the transcript guide says it could take until july for them to receive your w2 etc from the employer(s) so i believe thats y they give you an estimate of 6-8 weeks or so..

I also have cycle date 20150905 which was supposed to me March 12th and nothing. I have a code 570 and next to that code I have 03-23-2015 what is that mean? When I called on feb 25th they said my id is verification is complete and have to wait 4-6 weeks for refund. They said that they do not need anything else from me. I am confused, why cycle date 20150905 if nothing happened?

Filed/accepted 2/8, ID theft flag & lost bars 2/13, two calls to ID theft unit and one to the IRS all said my refund wouldn’t post until 3/31 at the earliest. Got a DDD of 3/18 on Saturday! Hope it posts early, seems everyone is getting theirs a few days earlier than the DDD.

Has anyone had their check sent back to the irs? Our check got mailed to our old address due to our accountants error. On 3/13 I got notified that they received the check back. Called the irs on 3/11 when I figured out what had happened. She said it could be 3-6 weeks. Has anyone had this happen? If so how long until you got the replacement check?

The 971 means they sent a letter out to u or are sending u one. Your return is on hold. Expect end of APRIL or MAY for refund. This is based on others I have read. Read all of the Barts Thoughts on the questions and I may find it answer there.

Hi springtexas I am in a very similar situation as you. I filed on march 9 2015 I checked my tax transcript online and there is a 570 and 971 code with dates March 30, 2015. Should I expect a refund by the 30th? I am so confused and it has only been one week since I filed. I need money to go to nursing school.

I got my card as directed. Got online, activated the card, no issues. WMR 3 bars says: March 10 it was sent. March 15th rolls around still no refund deposited in my account. This is the first year I’ve used NET SPEND. So far- NOT A FAN. This is what I deserve for being too lazy to look up the bank information of my bank account when doing taxes and just opting for the easy NETSPEND.

Anyone know why it would take so long for me to get my tax refund? Thanks

Yes, that amount is what you will be getting back, I have been filing IS for a few years now and looked back at my other transcripts and once they are done processing , you’ll see two refunds issued, one with that $ amount and the other that says refund issued to the non-irs debt.

Thanks, Bart! You’re right…20151005 cycle code means 2015(year), 10 (week) and cycle day (5=Wednesday) with a DDD of Wednesday since a cycle week begins anew on Thursday (1), Friday (2), Monday (3), Tuesday (4), Wednesday (5).

Whew. Took some time figuring this out, but by Jove! I think I’ve finally gotten it!

I’m just so happy that this looooong journey is finally coming to an end. I hope this won’t happen again next year.

Used turbotax and DD to a Netspend Card.

Last year I had a DDD a of 3/25 and got my DD on 3/23 same system as this year so I’m hoping I get my money on Monday evening or early Tuesday.

Nsee – Monies get sent on 3/17 at midnight and it will post to your bank account overnight. It will be dependent on your bank as to when they release the money to you. I filed 2/2 and went through the same ordeal. DDD 3/18. Its been a wild ride, but soooo glad that it is coming to an end.

Hello bart, I e filed on 2/4 and was accepted on 2/4 when calling irs they told me it was really accepted 2/6. WMR should one bar for maybe a week. Then got the message your refund is still being proccessed and refund date will be given when available. There is no codes no tax topic , it still shows my refund amount there as well. Only thing different for me this year is i have the health insurance through obama care which i already know im not being affected by that. I called irs a few times just to be told that i am under review with no reason as to why i am under review. They told me i do not need to do anything just need to wait 45 days, after the 21 days where already up. Told me the review would last up till april 10th. What should i do. Not getting any letters from them saying they need info. No code no transcripts just shows n/a Im really starting to think my money will never come

Maggie they requested it again because ur not sending what they want… Over 100k 1095a were sent out wrong and u have to wait till they send you the corrected one. If you don’t get the corrected one I would call and ask them to send you out the corrected one the irs will keep rejecting it until they receive the correct 1095a

WMR updated this morning. My WMR is showing the “Take Action! 151 Topic”. I still have a cycle code of 20151005 (DDD: March 19, 2015) and from what I’ve read by Mia1/20/15 on another thread here, it just means that they’ve adjusted the refund amount (and they have – by $508, thanks to an erroneous 1095-A).

I don’t have to call the IRS or anything, do I? Nothing has changed on our transcript: it still shows cycle 20151005, so do I need to call the IRS or just let it go since we already have a DDD (March 19, 2015)?

There still has not been any changes on WMR and I haven’t checked my transcript. But, my TA did say it would take a week before I see any changes once I sent in all the information that they asked me to do. So, it just a waiting period now I guess.

Two days after the wording changed on WMR I got my bars back with a DDD of 3/18. I filed back on 2/2. Its been a long journey but I believe it will finally be over next week. Patience is what it took, which I have none of btw, but finally the end of this horrible journey is here.. Good luck to all who are still waiting.

You might want to call them again to follow up and get an update. My refund was sent by the IRS to them on 02/18, and I still haven’t received it. They said they are returning it back to the IRS and when I asked why, they can’t provide any reason, They did take out their fees though plus other fees…. I called IRS on the 27th, and they said they never received the refund back, usually they said it should not take more than 5 days for them to get it. When I called SBTPG to find out what is going on, another person now is telling me that it’s still being processed to be sent back to IRS and to wait another 15days. These company is known to hold on people’s refunds and let it sit in their bank to accrue interest and earn money…. They lie, every time you call ,they give you different answers…. no consistency!

WMR updated overnight to show a DDD of 3/18. 6 weeks + 1 day from my E-file date. May be the shortest processing time yet.

Code 570 is a manual hold(freeze) it WILL automaticaly update…for myself the 570 code is “child support” which can take up to 14 weeks to process, others have identity issues and the irs sends them a letter by mail, be patient and don’t stress..

Hi Mia, I don’t know if you’re still reading posts here since you’ve received your refund. I hope you are because I now find myself in exactly the same position you had been when you finally got your transcripts updated and the WMR was updated.

Like you, my transcripts are showing an adjustment of refund and an 846 refund code. My WMR is showing the “Take Action! 151 Topic”. I have a cycle code of 20151005 (DDD: March 19, 2015). Everything exactly as you.

My question: Do I need to call the IRS or will they simply direct deposit my refund as scheduled according to the cycle code without me having to call in?

Since “Take Action! Topic 151” means, as you explained in your previous post, that the IRS has made adjustments to my filing (they reduced it by $508), and it doesn’t appear as if I *have* to call and allow me to make that choice but I want to be certain I don’t have to.

If you’re reading this, please let me know?

So FINALLY my WMR updated today and I have a DDD for March 18th!!! Praise the LORD! LBVS I seen that I had a 846 code yesterday on my transcript so I knew that it had been released, but it still had a 3/30 date for refund deposit. My TA was supposed to call but she didn’t and so I had to go on a hunt all day and find her. When I did talk to her she said that everything had been processed and that she was going to call me in a week. That was it. REALLY?!? So then I mentioned that I had checked my transcript and that it updated. After I heard her click a few times, she said, that I had a DDD for 3/18. Then i checked my WMR this morning and it had updated with the same info. So here’s a recap:

2/2 Filed and accepted the same day (H&R B)
2/17 Letter was sent but not received until 2/21
2/23 Letter, forms faxed
3/6 Transcripts were updated (570 & 971 code)
3/13 Transcripts updated again with 846 Refund Issue code
3/14 WMR updated with DDD of 3/18

Congrats to anyone who finally has a DDD! I posted in this thread a few days ago that after a month of having no bars on WMR, I finally got a change of wording this week. I checked WMR this morning and my bars are back and I finally have a DDD!!!!!! It has been 5 weeks of patiently waiting. I’m so happy!

I too filed with form 1095 and still haven’t recieved anything. I filed 1/30 not exactly 1/28 but pretty close. The past three years it has taken forever for me to get my refund. I’m guessing I’m in the same boat and probably recieved a letter asking to fax form 1095. I don’t even call because I’ve learned they usually feed you some bs. You just pretty much have to give up checking on the status and forget about it for a couple days. That’s the only way that keeps me from going crazy lol. Good luck

I’m in the same boat. I filed with TT on 2/10/15. It Was accepted by the IRS by 2/12/15 with a DD date of 3/5/15. I received the 5071c letter on 3/1/15 and verified my identity online via the identify IRS site listed in the letter. The website told me to allow up to 6 weeks for my refund. WMR still says processing and it’ll be 2 weeks on Sunday. I called the IRS today and was advised that my identity was verified and I’ve done everything I need to do. The agent I spoke to told me it could take up to 8 weeks from 3/2/15. I’ve read from a few people that it took anywhere from 3-16 weeks to get their refunds after the identity verification. I sure hope it’s no longer than 6 weeks . Has anyone received their refund in less than 6 weeks after verifying their identity?

Hello Bart. I’m sure you don’t remember me from last year. I was a 1121er that didn’t receive my refund until June 02. Just some speculation and observance on my behalf. IRS accepted my return on 2/10 this year stayed on one bar with transcripts saying n/a for weeks. ID verified on 2/27. The kind lady that verified me said I would update on Monday 3/2/15 and that I would be able to see my transcripts within 6 days and she was spot on. I am a weekly so on 3/5 transcripts updated my as of date is 3/23/15. I have the 570 with a date of 3/23/15 as well. If I count from Monday March 2, 2015 it’s exactly 21 days for then to process my return. It was like I wasn’t even processing until I did my ID verify. Once she completed it and put it in they started my return. What are your thoughts on this?

But I don’t understand because last week the agent I talked to told me my return was no longer been reviewed. So why do I get this code 151? Hi Bart,

I spoke to a nice man at the IRS and he told me they received my 1095a letter and other form and everything look great. He said I had to wait 4 weeks even though it shouldnt take that long. I asked him if speaking to a TA will speed up the process he said that I would have to wait a v week before the ta call and by then my money should be on the way. Then he asked about hardship. I explained my situation and he said it will come no later than 4-3. Should I still request the TA? I spoke to him on Wednesday and no change Thursday or Friday not able to view transcripts show NA.
