            This is a paragraph from July 21st news release from IRS.

            The IRS will continue to disburse Economic Impact Payments on a weekly basis. Ongoing payments will be sent to eligible individuals for whom the IRS previously did not have information to issue a payment but who recently filed a tax return, as well to people who qualify for “plus-up” payments.

              This got my hopes up that something might happen soon. I thought the IRS had stopped sending out EIP payments weekly. Looks like they are! Another batch going out this week…fingers crosed!

                After delaying the tax filing date again this year from April 15 to May 15, the IRS also divvied out its stimulus payments “on a weekly basis” to cut down on errors and avoid an overwhelming backlog, the IRS stated in March.

                  In the most recent send out, Covid-19 relief checks totaling $4.2billion were paid out through June 9.

                  There were more than 1.2million direct deposits and about 1.1million paper checks of Economic Impact Payments (EIP) that arrived through snail mail, Yahoo! News confirmed.

                  The agency confirmed more financial support would be distributed this week.

                    Yeah, they’ve been instructed to say they can’t give any more info than GMP tool. It’s obvious we’re not getting any real answers. I waited & filled my taxes on the last day (15th) & I received my refund 6 DAYS LATER! Yep, 6 days. It went to same account that my 3rd stimmy is supposed to go to. WTF??!! I give up trying to figure it out. It’s a lost cause. All we can do is hurry up & wait…ridiculous!!!

                      It’s so depressing reading those news releases each Wed. Which is basically the IRS bragging & patting themselves on the back for sending out soooo many payments worth billions to millions of people….blah blah blah! FVCK them!!!

                        @Diana Yeah, I found that article after posting that comment. It does seem strange, though, that they’ve been releasing news of each batch on Wednesdays from the start. For some reason they didn’t post on their site anything about the 10th batch (5/19). They did for the 11th batch, though, which was released 5/26. SMH

                          @Diana Could you provide link to that article? The IRS has been releasing their own press statements (Wednesdays) as each batch goes out. The last they released (according to their site) was on 5/12, which was the 9th batch.

                            Hard to believe so many people are still waiting. How can our government be so incompetent? What’s worse is that there was no news release from IRS this week about sending out another batch of payments. They’ve been posting updates weekly (Wednesdays) about new batches going out. What’s that mean? Are they done with all the batches? So disheartening to check status and still nothing for over 2 months now…no answers, no rhyme or reason at all. Just helpless…

                              When I used to get them mine were deposited onto my card on the 9th of every month because the last digit in my SS# is 9. IDK, this is all so f*cked up! It’s very depressing to wake up each day for last 2 months to see no update & have no explanation..

                                I don’t think the delay for us has anything to do with dates taxes were filed. I’ve seen many that filed super early & many that have filed within last couple of weeks. Might it have something to do with our social security numbers? For example, SNAP (food stamps), which is federally funded, disperses payments according to the last digit of your SS #.

                                    Has anyone here been able to find a common theme amongst us who are still waiting without dates? I’m assuming there’s probably something that we all have in common that is got us in this situation.

                                      Same boat. This sh*t is beyond ridiculous at this point! I mean there’s no excuse for taking this long! Worst of all, though, is the fact that they can’t even give us a clear answer or explanation to help ease our minds. Just leaving us out in stimmy purgatory… we’re supposed to be getting that money to help us through tough times, but it’s gonna be too late for help before long. I’m nearly 2 months behind on rent. Not too far away from utilities getting shut off.

                                          So I gave it a few days and attempted to log back in on 3/21 or 3/22 (can’t remember). When I entered my info to check again a page came up offering a chance to update direct deposit info. So, of course I changed it to my current bank. And now, since that day, it’s saying “I am eligible to receive payment and my money will be deposited into account below” It now shows my current bank info. So yeah, been over a week now, nothing else has changed.

                                            @Nancy Sorry late response. -When they re-opened Get My Payment for 3rd stimmy mine said my “money will be deposited into account below on 3/17” but it was showing an old closed account i had. Then said if account is closed money will be sent back and re-issued.

                                                I changed my DD info in portal irs provided. Now it’s just saying “You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page. We will deposit your payment to the bank account below.” It shows last 4 digits of new bank account I entered. WTF?

                                                  This is ridiculous! For a country that is generally looked at as the “best”, “most advanced” country in the world, we sure have an incompetent treasury/irs This is the 3rd stimmy& they are still having same type issues!.

                                                    2 of 2)They could’ve contacted IRS and worked on a plan so this wouldn’t happen. Instead, they let it happen and blamed IRS. Bullsh*t. The IRS did what they were supposed to do by sending $$ to account numbers on file. I hope everyone that used Turbo Tax will realize this and NEVER use them again!!!

                                                      1 of 2) Turbo Tax knew for 8 months there was possibly gonna be a 2nd stimulus check. They knew that the IRS had bad direct deposit info for millions of their customers and yet they failed to contact IRS and warn them of this. 8 MONTHS!! I fully blame Turbo Tax.

                                                        So, yeah, I’m sure a lot of people (including myself) did NOT actually receive the email with link in it. Instead they found and clicked on the link provided by someone in chat/message website like this one. Myself, I first saw link here on this site. What’s strange is they actually allowed me to change my info and said I was good and should have deposit within 5 days. Any other TurboTax users have a similar story? I’m assuming we will most likely get one of these late round checks.

                                                          I think I’m noticing a trend in people that were able to change their direct deposit info with TurboTax on 1/10 – 1/15. I can’t remember where I saw, but a person claiming to be TurboTax employee said that the only people who will actually receive their deposits are those that received the E-mail that had link to the portal in it.

                                                                  I’m in the same boat. Yep, technically Tuesday 19th would be day 5. So, yes there is still a glimmer of hope. I’m not gonna hold my breath though 🤞

                                                                      I was able to update my dd info early Tue morning. So yeah today would be day 5 and I’ve got nothing. Have you seen or heard if anyone that changed dd info on tt received stimulus on their CashApp dd???

                                                                            I changed my dd info on tt website early morning 1/12. Still no money. I know it says 5 business days, but I’ve seen that some people on here have received dd after changing info on tt. I’m using my CashApp account for dd. Has anyone else change dd info on tt to CashApp account & received deposit yet??? Thanks for any info…

                                                                                btw, filed tt, had fees deducted from refund, rec refund on tt green dot visa, irs has always shown #2 info not available, rec 1st and 3rd tt email, rec 1st stimulus by mail paper check

                                                                                    Anyone expecting 2nd stimulus on TT green dot visa might want to call green dot. I still have my card and I can still log in to my account online but, I talked to them yesterday and found out my account had been closed due to inactivity. So, yeah, if you haven’t used card for a while, they probably closed your account. And I was told it can’t be re-opened. This is sooooo fvkt up!!!
