SBTPG took out fees on 2/21
Hit Huntington bank account on 2/21 at 4pm.Good luck to everyone.
SBTPG holds onto that money until the last possible minute. It’s this way every year if using their service.
In the past, SBTPG hasn’t updated until after 10am EST. Continue checking throughout the day for updates. I’m in the same boat… waiting for the update.
With it being President’s Day and banks closed, I would assume we will all see movement tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
It’s always the same drama with SBPTG … In 11 years of filing and using SBTPG, there was only 1 year where there was a depositing issue and it was resolved within 24 hours. Today’s a bank holiday. I wouldn’t worry about your deposit unless it isn’t in your account by the 22.
Every year there is always a rumor about SBTPG…and I am pretty sure this is the exact rumor. Unless you entered incorrect banking info for your deposit once they take out their fees, everything will be fine. I’ve been filing for over 10 yrs with SBTPG and they are definitely slow, they hold onto the money until the last minute, but it always works out.

DDD of 2/22Hello.
I filed on 2/1 via TT. SBTPG for fees.

AOTCWMR shows return received. Last year I had a DDD 3 days after filing. However, the AOTC is new for me this year. Transcripts still showing N/A. Unfortunately, I am a weekly so hopefully this week, it will update. Fingers crossed.
So long as you can see that your return was received by the IRS on the WMR, the “no record…” is normal on transcripts. It stays that way until an IRS agent works your return.
Everything updated over night now I’m just waiting for an 846 code, my refund is almost 600$ less though. not sure why.
THE CTC changed from 3k to 2500. This may be the difference.

Received Ohio tax refund DD on 2/3. Fastest I’ve ever seen Ohio return our money.
I was surprised this morning when I woke up and Huntington had deposited today. DDD was 2/22
I bank with Huntington and they always hold funds until the exact day if not longer. The thing is, with it being the weekend, the electronic transfers have already been received. They’re just sitting in limbo, waiting to be released. It’s not like the money is coming from some unknown 3rd party, it’s coming from the IRS… just give me my money.

I truly believe this depends on your bank as well as SBTPG. I bank with Huntington and Huntington ALWAYS puts a hold on my deposits (even though they claim they don’t.) You have 2 options: 1. Call your bank and see if you have any pending deposits. 2. Wait until tomorrow to see if shows.
My bank is pretty terrible with deposits. They won’t even tell me if a deposit is pending and I have direct deposit for work, which Payroll sends out on Wednesdays. Still yet, good ol’ Huntington will deny deny deny seeing any pending deposits until it finally hits my account on Friday.
I’m watching this thread like a hawk because I am 1/31 filer and stalking my return! haha
I checked the Ohio website for ‘Where’s my Refund,” and it said my return was processed and I should receive my refund within 15 days. Usually once I see that message, it’s only a few days later when it shows up. The really crazy thing is I filed my taxes on Friday, 1/31/20, and it says it was processed on Sunday, 02/02/20. They must really be moving or I got very lucky.
File 1/31/2020 around 6pm EST. Federal and State were accepted about 10 minutes later.

Refund posted this morning to Huntington Bank Acct. Hang in there. It’s on it’s way. Unfortunately I have one of them banks where the money is held for 2 days before it is released, so it actually was deposited Wednesday along with my paycheck (which is available this morning.) Happy tax season. Wish everyone a quick return.
I didn’t get mine this morning. However, that was to be expected because Huntington holds everything. I would be surprised if I even get it tomorrow. Once there is a ACH deposit, Huntington Bank holds onto the funds for an additional 1-2 days, which drives me nuts.
I know this from past experiences and with my current payroll. Payroll goes in on Wednesday and I have never received it early, it’s always released on Friday.
I think what some don’t realize is that your money may have already been deposited but not available because of your BANK and not necessarily that the money wasn’t deposited.
Will let you you all know if it’s in tomorrow.

…..Sbtpg.com updates on the West Coast schedule… if you live on the East Coast, check again between 10 and 11am EST. I am waiting for mine to come thru SBTPG as well and have my fingers crossed… its only 4:35am there right now….
I have Huntington Bank… apparently Huntington says that they can’t see “pending deposits,” uhhh huh I almost believe that. Anyone know how to weasel information out of Huntington Bank to confirm a pending deposit????

They only update every so many days…. So u can go from 1 bar to finished overnight. This happened to me last year. They only provide the bars as something to keep you busy so you won’t call them directly. (IMO). I wouldn’t worry about the progress bar as one morning you will wake up and the money will be there. It took about 10 days for state last year and 12-13 for federal.
