Also I had an additional w2 come in after I filed. It was only for 400 so not too much more. Would that make a difference? I was told no by my tax preparer that you wait until you receive your refund and file an amended return but should not effect the return. Please let me know what would be the best way to get rid of the 1121 code and receive a refund. Get a ta? My transcripts have cancelled refund and my wage one is blank
I believe it just got pushed saying ddd 2/19 because of the holiday but in all honestly it does say by 2/19 so it could still deposit earlier. I am 20150605er and my ddd is 2/19 on WMR we will see what day it actually hits though through my bank
I had the same problem. Once it gets rejected and returned to the IRS your WMR will update showing it was rejected and when your check should be mailed out by. I also had 2-13 mail date for my check.
Yep, there are many in the same boat. IRS reps are reading scripted responses (ID verify, Wage Verify, etc.). The problem is that the early filers were resequenced and many after us have been processed while we’ve been pushed back in line. It’s infuriating and unfair. I will never file early again. They weren’t ready to deal with the extra ACA processing.
finally got second bar 2/15 scheduled for the 20th I see others will get their dd on the 19th still wondering why they took so long this year.

So i filed on 2/3 got accepted on 2/3 ,had one bar for about a week,than couldnt get into transcripts because i couldnt remember login info,told to call identity line,called ipsu or whatever,said it was fine,theyre removing the flag
guy on phone told me that it showed i was accepted on the 9th,not sure what that means,

Wmr says I’m still processing and a date will provided when available continue to check wmr for updates. I hope I’m not getting reviewed. Any thoughts or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
I already received my letter abs it said I had no further actions to do. .. it just said they are holding my refund until they are finished reviewing it
What would a cycle code 20150402 mean?
I filed on 1/14, accepted on 1/20 and still waiting. WMR says still processing. I was able to view my transcripts and it shows codes 570 and 971. I spoke with an IRS rep Thursday 2/12 who said it was under “random review probably”. Probably? She couldn’t tell me how long the review would take but everything looked fine and that I’d should be receiving the notice they had sent out to me on 2/03. I still haven’t received any letter. I know I have to pay back $150 for the ACA credit because I ended up making more last year than expected.

I don’t ever tell people to run and call, but in your case, I would call ASAP tomorrow. At this point we all know the early filers got caught in a glitch. My sister filed 1/20 and just got her date on Friday for the 19th. Her wmr is still showing all her bars missing but her transcripts finally updated to the proper 846 code and cycle date of the 19th.They may need you to verify or something. Did you have 2 bars with a DDD on wmr at any point?

Hey irked, look at the account one for 2014 on the bottom left, do you see a date that says AS March 02 or any date near that? Not the cycle date though, this one is set up normal not like the cycle dates ie: 20150602 etc., it’s almost in the middle of the account transcript page towards the right side. If you have a date there, count back 21 days including weekends and you’ll have the date they consider they accepted you on. Which as a lot of us have found, it isn’t usually the same date you filed on or the date they sent the accepted email on, but actually anywhere from 2-10 days after. Although it seems it was mostly January filers that were bumped 10+ days.

Wondering if you could give me some insight on my situation.
I filed on 1/30 via TT, have received my state refund but have NO information about the federal. WMR has not updated still just one bar and all it says it Tax topic 152. Also only two of my transcripts are available but they are blank and say no return filed? I called and spoke to the IRS and they said that I should wait until my 21 days to call back but my 21 days is almost up and nothing has moved!@Lisa: you have back taxes unpaid so they took it from this tax refund. Is the amount next to the 826 code less then your actually refund amount if you then you will recieve the balance amount. You won’t recieve it though until your transcripts update with the code 846. Interesting question. Filed 1/22. Could finally see account and wage transcripts 2/2 have been blank with 0s since. Last week as of date changed from 2/23 to 3/2 and then back to 2/23. Now this morning there’s two as of dates both 2/23. What exactly does this mean? Progress?
I filed 2/6 and found out via my transcripts they didn’t actually accept me and start until 2/11. My only date or number on my 2014 account transcript is my AS date of March 02. If you count 21 days back from that you get 2/10 or 11, depending on time of day, which I don’t know if it was after 11 am eastern on 2/10. If it was they’d consider it 2/11, so I’m just counting 2/11 as the day they took me. I even had an email on the 6th barely 15 mins after submitting it saying they accepted it!
It’s very frustrating! I wish you all a smooth refund process! I am willing to bet, with what I’ve seen this year so far, is well all see an update by Wednesday.

@Anita, my transcripts are showing the same as yours, plus, I have a refund coming over $6000 thanks to the college credit. I’m trying to be patient and hopeful that it’s just taking a little longer and there’s not some issue.
Thanks for the advice. So a TA will be able to see something that the irs rep and my tax preparer can’t see? I didn’t contact one sooner because I was told TAs were only if you had a hardship. I don’t have a letter but just give them a call and they will tell me what needs to be done? How quick ate they able to help out and get your refund?
Something I heard through the grapevine, so speculate validity at your own discretion, is if it’s over 6k it can take a little longer. Wouldn’t ya know, mine is an ass hair over.
I thought maybe if there was any truth to that then maybe the people who received such quick dates and money may have been getting a lot less.
This is my first year of it being over 6 so that’s another reason I thought there may be some truth to it.
Again though, pure speculation and second hand Information.
Hey so is everyone that doesn’t have transcripts yet like mine? Nothing for 2014 on either top brackets but both 2014’s on the bottom rows? Or do some of you have no 2014 at all, top or bottom?

brooke try ordering the transcripts by mail and no it doesnt mean ur in id verify… looks to me likw you just not done processing
chatami yes contact a TA and make sure what ever they want you do it as quick as possible or it will just drag out
joli there is a freeze on the account and you have to just wait. untill you get the letter telling you what u need to do… also contact a TA

sheabond91 i would call and find out whats the hold up on your return… if nothing then it should be updating real soon
cass most cases it will be done with in 21 days you have to be patient this year.. things are moving slower
levi sometimes its a good thing you will know in 2 -3 days cause they should returned with approved on it… i also suggest calling the irs and seeing if there is anything going on with your return
bonnybleu83 no it doesnt always mean ur being auditted because i dont see the 570 freeze code.. i think you have to hang in there a little longer and wait for the letter. it might be something simple they want from you.. or they might correct it themselves
shellyh yes file blank returns with no income on them filling out the rest
Could be an offset mine was 800 less than what it was suppose to be because I had an offset from something that happened 5 years ago

Same issue, I filed 2/10, showed accepted next day and checked last night/today and I have no bars and tells me it doesn’t have any my info that I may be entering it wrong -etc-.
I’m in the same exact status as Anitataco. Good to hear I’m not alone. Sucks to see other people who filed after me already get their return and I’m still at one bar. SOB.

How long does the review usually takeWhen your bars disappear it usually means you have been subjected to a manual review by a person rather than computer. They system found an anomaly within your return.
A lot of us are still waiting. And I’ve come to believe that the “identity verification ” is just some bs process they’re putting people through to appease us. I talked to one guy and he wouldn’t tell me anything until I told him all of mine my wife’s and our daughters personal information. And when I got a single date wrong he to me my account was at too high a risk for fraud do he couldn’t talk to me again. I called later and was only asked the most basic information and told that my return was going through extra screenung just in case and I should be glad that the irs “is looking out for me”.
I have no idea then. I didnt have insurance at all i filed the same day as you and i received my refund 2/11
kalebs mom- From what I’ve seen if you can’t order them it’s because they haven’t started processing them yet. If you can see 2014 but it’s zeros they’re processing it. Mine is N/A on both top ones and both bottom ones have 2014 but it’s zeros except for an AS date of. March 02. If I count back from that 21 days it’s feb 10 or 11 not the 6th when they said I was accepted.
I am on one bar still and have seen almost all other 2/6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 get their DDD and some even had their cash Friday! My previous year transcripts all show a pattern, it’s always pretty much exactly 14 days from file to deposit. Last year my paper check date was March 31 but my direct deposit shows it hitting on March 13th. I’m really thinking by Wednesday at the latest we should have our DDD.
If not, well then you may see me on the 10 o’clock news if you live in my area.
Filed 1/20, still waiting myself. Been told every story in the book. They claim accepted 1/22, even though I have email confirmation of 1/20, and they didn’t pull it to be worked until 2/5. No information given, its past 21 days from acceptance either date now. Waiting on an advocate to contact us about our case on Thursday.

Also, I filed on the 30th through taxact, accepted on the 30th. No movement on WMR…still one bar, no transcripts available. The only thing new is form 8962, I had obamacare for part of the year.

We filed on 01/31/2015 and were accepted within minutes and are still waiting for our refund. I called and spoke to an IRS agent on Wednesday, 02/11 who told me to just wait the 21 days before calling back. He said that as long as my WMR is still processing, that that is good. I also have the Topic 152 on my WMR. I have tried to access our transcripts, but I keep getting the 800 number to call the Identity Protection Unit. Does that mean our return is being held for id fraud reasons? This is the first time that our refund has taken so long to be processed and approved. We are very frustrated as we have bills to catch up on and pay. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
I was just curious if there are any 1/20 filers still waiting to be approved or even be processed? I filed on 1/20 and was accepted immediately through TurboTax. My wife and I filed separate this year and she was approved and has had her refund since the beginning of the month. I called the IRS on the 22nd day and was told verify my identity. Upon doing so, I was told that it would be 4-8 weeks before i was even processed because they IRS has “more important things to do” in the exact words of the rep. I called back the next day and pretended to have never called and was told that my return was not accepted until 1/28 which I know was crap, so I called back immediately and was told that my return was being processed and should see my refund by 3/17. Now my question is, is anyone in the same boat? Could it be just that my refund is larger than average and they flag all those? I have no idea and I am growing very impatient. Thanks for any input.
No deposit yet…. It just says “by February 19”. Hopefully sooner. LOL
Called customer service for my Emerald Card. They said the Irs said it would be deposited today but it’s a holiday. Could it be deposited today?
