Well that was the info that I got the 2 different times I called the IRS to ask about my return and bankruptcy. They said no funds will be released on the the 15th, and that for a safe measure estimate 14 to 21 days starting from the 15th. Even turbo tax says that deposits won’t start hitting till the 27th. “The IRS estimates that people who claimed these credits will start receiving their federal refunds the week of February 27. This is true for all taxpayers who claimed these credits, regardless of their tax prep method. ” directly from an email I got from turbo tax yesterday.
No one will get a refund if you have those credits on the 15th… Deposits are not expected to hit until the week after. The way it was explained to me, is that the 15th is being looked at as tax day opening for those claiming EIC or ACTC, so the funds will not be made available until AT LEAST 14-21 Days after February 15th.
Everyone just needs to calm down. and breathe. I was able to order both transcripts about a week after filing and being accepted, I just got the PATH act message today. Processing date of Feb 20th, cycle code of 20170204
I filed on the 30th, checked today and I’m under manual review. I have never been under review ever, for state or federal.
FEDERAL LAW- no one with one or both of those credits will see any money till after the 15th… don’t get your hopes up
That should have said no one will get a DDD till the 15th
No one will get a DDD if you claimed either one of those credits. It’s federal law. They have to follow it
@nickw its not all its cracked up to be lol. I have 2 kids and still dont get crap, I barely got anything for the EIC and the chiuld tax credit thing

checked WMR at 11:30 last night and it told me it wasnt availble at this time, so i figured it was updating.
woke up this morning to a DDD of 2/10
I am able to access WMR through their app, still at one bar though.
Tried to order transcripts and I got the message we can’t process right now and a phone number to call
filed 1/28 with freetaxusa, accepted a few hours later

using direct depositmy boyfriend filed the 27th through TT and it says an estimated date between january 28th and february 17th. he is still at 1 bar on WMR

Im right there with yall still. I have absolutely no updates, codes, dates etc. I have finally figured out that being able to access transcripts mean nothing because ive been able to view them for over a week and I have not had one single update, this includes WMR. TT told me today I could expect me refund anywhere from Feb 1st to March 23rd…
It took 24 hours for WMR to update with the info on my return, usually because WMR is only updated every 24 hours….however with how backed up they are it could take a while to update. ive seen people who have filed at the end of Januray and haven’t even been accepted yet. The IRS is taking their sweet time this year.
I have come to realize that the availability to get transcripts means nothing….I have been able to view my account transcript for over a week, but its blank and all 0’a. I have had had no movement on WMR, no codes, and no letters in the mail.
I got my state refund this morning. It slightly pissed me off, such a tease.

Nothing. Transcripts still the same, no codes what so ever. Still says no return filed. WMR still at accepted. TT says my estimated refund date is February 21st-March 29th… Nice how reassuring
Finally got my Ohio state refund this morning. Filed using TT on 1/31. I’m still waiting on federal, and no sign of it showing up anytime soon.

Filed 1/31 accepted a few hours later. I can get my transcripts, but they have no codes, just 0’s. No update on WMR either, I’m hoping I’ll have an update tonight but I’m not counting on it. This time last year I had my state refund and a DDD of the 14th for federal.
Nothing. Transcript has all 0’s and no codes. Nothing fancy on my return either, just my kids and school. Did the same thing last year and I had a ddd of the 14th by this time. I’m getting aggravated, I don’t think I’ll be using TT next year.
Still nothing. I was able to order transcripts last week. I have a feeling in stuck with that stupid glitch and I’ve been recycled. I had them on the 14th last year, but I don’t think ill be that lucky this year.
Checked trasnscript, says no return filed….grrrrr
