I updated overnight back to processing after verifying id on Saturday. My 6 weeks will be this Thursday. Let’s see if I get a date since they are saying to give them 4-6 weeks
And you never got a date? Look to see if routing and acc # match, if you got your federal and state on same acc then that’s very strange they are saying it was issued. With no date ?
@NY2NY this is actually beyond ridiculous. These irs works so much faster than NY. Idk about any other states but NY always drags their feet with its residents 85% of the time
In the same boat processing since January paid tax preparer almost $700. And everybody else. I know got their refund but me.
Anyone updated since filing and accepted same day 2/27?
Ugh this is just stupid. I was accepted 1/30 and still nothing. Stuck on refund received and still processing. No DD or anything. I called last week and they said no notice was sent so idk what’s taking so long. Some people have already gotten their money. Wish I could get mine.

I was curious do you think because I don’t have my middle name on my chime acct they won’t deposit it ?
honestly, it happened to me one year. 😬 they denied because of my middle name not being on my Chime account. but I think it doesn’t matter for most people.
received mine on Chime on Monday, 3/6 at 11:24 am cst. no fees, free file.
Now they’re trying to tell me it was sent to my chime account on 3/1. They told me I have to wait another week before they trace it. Absolute bullshit
If you are a weekly you probably will update on Thursday nigh into Friday morning.
My return was accepted on 2/4 and I started to get worried when towards the end of February, I hadn’t received my refund yet. I am PATH but have always got it around 2/21. Then I started reading about the new verifying letter and after calling the IRS on 2/25, realized that my return is one that they’re holding until it’s verified. I had not received any letters prior to me calling on 2/25 and the agent I talked to said it would be mailed that day. It is now March 7th and I still haven’t received anything. WMR still shows processing with no bars and my transcripts are not available, so nothing has changed. How long after requesting the letter from the IRS to be able to verify you return, did you get it? I don’t want to call back if I don’t have to so I thought I would check here first.

Anyone else switched over to check being mailed after ID verify with 4883c letter and now the check is being sent out to the wrong address. I called IRS to update address and agent states it will take two weeks for system to reflect address change. If this has happened to anyone, how long did it take to receive check once address was updated. I have mail forwarding but the post office is stating they won’t forward a government check.

StellaI filed on Feb 25th with H&R Block. Where’s my refund shows accepted but transcripts aren’t showing 2022 at all. Should I be worried?

Convinced im not getting a DDD. No way i filed in january and still stuck on processing
@sandwds Mine refund has been in green parentheses for over two weeks already and that’s it. I had read that everyone’s was processing quickly this year, well everyone’s but mine. I don’t get it?!?!?!
I filed on 02/08 and still nothing has moved. Anything for you?

I got my deposit at 12:38 this afternoon so it’s coming even though they’re a little slow@Ida: I’ve been sending messages and they keep telling me it will be released shortly and they still keep feeding me the 4-6 weeks nonsense. I feel like they’re playing games with me.

Erica did you called them to see what’s the hold up? You should have gotten your date by now. Normal years the same day it goes back to zero you get a date.

I was wondering the same thing because they’re open now but maybe after 9What time does New York usually start sending deposits?
We filed 2/16 got back fed on 2/28/23 had to id verify for the state was approved on 3/1/23 said 5-7 business to receive the funds hoping it will be in there today I filed my dads taxes same day as mine on 2/16/23 he got his state approved on 2/22/23 and it was there 2/27/23 and fed was there 2/28/23! Hope this helps if it’s been to long just call and verify over the phone
@jstarr I’m in the same boat, file 2/14 and was told there’s an error and I have to wait 10 weeks. No update No notices. Just “still processing”
I filed 2/22 and was accepted just a couple of minutes later. it’s odd you haven’t been accepted yet. but I have seen other people in the same predicament. maybe check out r/irs on reddit too? just in case your question isn’t answered here.
