Can you get account transcript?
Chris- Does it show on your transcript that it was received(code 971 i think)? Mine has the 2-16 as well and it happened on the 3rd.
I am about to lose it!! I have waited somewhat patiently for DAY 21. I filed with TT and was accepted on 2/2. Was at 1 bar until this past Saturday when I lost the bars. No transcripts available.
I just called and after about 15 minutes, the lady came back and told me that there was a system error and that was all the info she could give me. She said she would make a referral to another department and they will get back to me within 30 days.
I am so unbelievably heated right now. WHY?? What system error???
ok I found it! For anyone else wondering…you just go to the IRS webpage and search transcript and follow the link. It is not the same as the “where’s my Refund” link!! It will take you through a process of verifying your identity and setting up a login. You can also continue through as a guest, but having a login will save you time when you look again…and we will all most likely be looking several times before we see what we want to see lol!
So mine only had the offset info, and it showed it as happening on the 16th of Feb. even though we go info that it happened on the 5th. No update yet on the IS form being received. I brought mine into my local office, so I know it was received….just hoping for an update soon!
Me, too. WMR bars returned yesterday morning with a DDD of the 26th. However, TurboTax still is showing only accepted and I’ve gotten no notice from SBBT that they have received notice that that my refund is coming in the next few days (I usually get that email). Cause for concern? Why hasn’t TT been notified that our return is approved?
I was accepted 2/2.. Bars disappeared around 2/5. I contacted advocate about id problems.. Thursday I could order transcripts by mail.
Called Irs today is 21 days! Irs says they couldn’t release my info to me. Since I went through a advocate if have to get all info through them. Lady said even if I could see your DDD, I legally can’t give it to you!

I called them again today. I filed and was accepted on 1/21/14 and no bars since about 1 week after. ID theft message on transcripts.
The person on the phone apparently verified me by asking some questions and then put me on hold to leave a message for someone in Kansas City.
She came back and said I let them know and in will take them 6-8 weeks from today to get you a refund. /le sigh
I was told 6-8 weeks every single time I’ve called. I asked her what would have happened to my refund if I never called you ? I’ve gotten no letter or phone call..nothing to let me know there was a problem aside from your “Where’s My Refund” not telling me anything for weeks.
I’m not sure if I should call a Tax Advocate or just sit and wait 6-8 weeks.Has anyone been able to speak with someone live? Filed and accepted on 1/28 and WMR is still showing its being processed with no bars
I have an AR and OK, my AR was sent by mail in 3 days from filing, OK still says not processed same as you guys
Ok this is my first time having to file the injured spouse. Where can you check your transcripts as everyone is talking about? Is it the same “where’s my refund” link as you check your regular return? Please help….I need an update to save my sanity!!
stef i would call the irs cause either u are under review or in id verify
kallino there is isnt it means your un postable and they are trying to correct it
zach after transcripts update its usally sent out in less than a week… no there is no day they can mail out every day

nsee yes means that processing is done…. but you should have had a DDD by now if not then u need to look at those transcripts to make sure there isnt a 570 code or notice sent
caliwaiting call and see but it looks like your still frozen at this point. id verify can take 3 weeks or so
stephanie your looking at some kind of issue with your return if your under review it will take about 4-5 weeks at this point.. i would keep calling them till you get a real answer

Hey there Bart! I filed my taxes through Tax Slayer 01/27/2015 accepted same day at 9:00 A.M. I had insurance through my employer for the full 12 months but my daughter did not so I have to pay a penalty of 149.00 for her but that is the only thing I can think of that has kept my refund missing and no bars on WMR. I cant get transcripts. I did that identity form you advised someone else to do but it said it couldn’t find me. Any other tips or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

So ii filed on jan 22 and was accepted on 22nd. Lost wmr bars about two weeks later with the message still processing etc. Called irs on 2-12 told system processing error. Transcripts are n/a. Called irs this morning. Still told system processing error. No estimate can be given they tell me just to be patient. .. its been 31 days how patient do you think i will have to be and is there anything i can do?Just an update. My return has finally been approved- I checked the status on WMR. Turbotax has not updated the status just yet, but I just checked WMR out of curiosity and noticed the updated. I even have a DD date of 02/24/15. So, yay! finally.
Still no updates this morning this makes no sense to me. I know people who have filed way after I did and already got there refund:-(
Is there a typical day that the IRS mails checks out?
I had the cp53a notice, Bart was kind enough to inform me that it really doesn’t take the 8-10 weeks listed in the letter, that it actually takes 2-3.I’ve been checking transcripts, still no update with another 846 code. What’s the timetable for updates on transcripts and check mailing dates?

Filed on 2/13 and was accepted the same day. However it wasn’t showomt anything on wmr until Thursday (2-19-15) I just got a DDD which is supposed to be Wednesday (2-25-15)
@ Jason I have the same info on my tax transcript, for the last week and a half. I am hoping that it will be released before then. But you never know with the state.
All last week, even after calling to verify my identity, I kept getting the message to call. On Saturday, I received a letter that says additional information required. They’re asking me to send in proof of un-reimbursed job expenses and other miscellaneous deductions. The funny part is I DON’T HAVE ANY! The only thing I have is a charitable donations taken out of my paycheck.
does it really take 6 weeks?
I had to call and verify my id on feb 4th I filled and was excepted jan 20th now my transcripts are reading 150 806 768 and 570 account action pending 3/2/2015 can you explain this to me so that I can understand what’s going on???
That is what i might have to do kevin. Because as of this morning no cash, no update on WMR, and when I try to look at my transcripts n/a is still showing in the account section. For some reason under wages and income it says has not been filed yet. frustration to the max.

Ok I filed thru tt On 2/3 accepted same day then the wait began. i saw no movement or updates my bars where gone from 2/4/15- 2/20/15.Final after stalking this page I thought I would call the irs. 2/13 I called and told them I filed earlier and they sent me to idverify. Women was nice and asked me a few questions then said im verified and allow 6-8weeks. On friday 2/19 was finally able to order my return transcript. 2/20 wmr updated to approved and said ddd 2/25/15. I have netspend for my dd and as of now see no update to sbbt wmr or my account so now I will just be waiting until it hits. Hope this helped someone and I will keep everyone posted on if and when it hits. Praying for eveyones return to come soon.
Also if tax topic 203 isnt showing does that mean it doesnt apply to me?

Filed and accepted 1/28 I went about 1 1/2 weeks and got the code 9001 on wmr. Feb 13 I called and verified my id and was told it would go back into processing wait 6-8 weeks to call back if I didn’t get my refund or a letter. My transcripts all said 000 until this past Friday and I could view them but now I have a 570 code (do not have the 971) with a as of date of March 9. Any idea what I may be looking at? You can actually download the form fill it out and fax it. You won’t be accused of fraud
not only did I not include form 1095-A, I clicked the check mark stating that I never received obamacare in my hast to complete my taxes yesterday :(:(
I received 1 month of coverage as I was between jobs last year and had totally forgotten about it as I had not (and still have not) received my 1095-A.
I have been filing my taxes for 25 years with no issues at all, now I am concerned that I will be accused of fraud and that they will go beyond the asking me to fax my 1095-A.
Anyone knows what I could be faced with right now ? Is it possible they will not notice giving me a chane to file a amended return ? Should I contact the IRS letting them know what I did ? Thank you

maximus wmr may never even update sometimes u get the money before wmr shows you got it

Spring Texas its saying that 8862 what’s the question if you asking what the letter means then it’s as described your eic was re instated and you will get your eic writhin 6 weeks

My transcripts updated on Friday to: 971 injured spouse claim received 2/9/15 with a zero amount as well. I think they are processing our forms. The others that saw it last week got an 846 code this week for their direct deposits. I am guessing that on Friday ours will get the 846 code with a dd for march 3rd, but who knows with the IRS.

I can’t really answer any of your questions as I am wondering the same things. My 971 says notice sent, there is nothing about anything being received. The refund says it was issued and then the next line shows that it was used to satisfy a debt, but that line shows $0. I do know the entity that was collecting has my entire refund and just don’t think this is correct. I will continue to update everyone. I plan to call the IRS again first thing in the morning. This is incredibly frustrating!I filed my injured spouse after our return was processed and refund was intercepted. It now shows 971 on 2/06/2015 (received). Does yours say a $$ amount in the column beside that? Just wondering if it is normal for it to say $0.00 beside the 971 code and that means that they are still processing, or if this is the end all that means “you’re out of luck”? Thanks :-)
Has anyone got an update on WMR? I checked there and still nothing! I can’t view my transcripts.. So I don’t know my cycle code.. I had to order them by phone.

I am a weekly updater. My transcripts updated 2/20 but I can’t look at them because of an identity theft flag because someone stole my husbands identity 3 years ago so that’s been on our taxes for a few years. It hasn’t really slowed anything up as long as we enter the pin # they mail us every year. I did have a small offset this year for student loans and finally WMR updated yesterday with a direct deposit date of 2/25!!! So with the identity theft flag & a offset it really didn’t hold my refund up. Granted most people that were accepted on 2/10 got there’s last week I finally got my dd date of 2/25 yesterday. So not to bad! They are slowly but surely coming!!
One more question…
I am wondering how they will split our refund. We both get back a portion of earned income credit I know, however the two children we are claiming are mine (not his) and I also get an education credit for being in school. Will they split those up too or do I get all of those credits myself? We are not in a community property state.Filed 2/4 accepted 2/4 @ 11:30pm
Now 2/22 and no movement on WMR (past accepted) and no transcripts available. This is the longest I have had to wait. My return is more complex than usual (father passed, received 401k money from him… also on obamacare -sucks::) I cannot help but be worried that its not gonna go as smoothly as other years! Turbo Tax says only %31 of people who filed on 2/4 have received their returns but I find that hard to believe.
