Finally updated with 846…DDD 2/24. I had the ‘delayed message’ on WMR for a week. So glad it’s just about over. Now, I wait on my bank.
No, I still have the delayed message. Hoping Friday will bring good news.
My WMR updated to this message today, earlier this morning. I filed and was accepted on 1/24/22. My as of date is 2/21/22 and my return transcript has N/A. I’m hoping that we update next Friday.
I finally updated to a July 14 refund date. HOH 2 dependents.
If you don’t mind, could you provide your As Of Date, please? @Sophie, could you, as well?
Can you all post your As Of Dates? Even the f you’ve already gotten 846. Please. This might provide a little clarity as to why some have 846 and some don’t yet.
@Clueless, I’m going to try to get thru the phone lines to inquire about it. I’m so mentally drained as it relates to this tax year! Waited months for nothing.
My 2020 transcript was updated and my AGI is not less -$10,000. My as of date was is July 26th….but, no refund for me. Check your transcripts!!
My transcript was updated (adjusted to remove $10k), but no extra refund for me.
My As Of Date changed to May 17th.
I’m hoping that we see updates throughout the night. Tonight (Thursday) is usually a mass update for transcripts.
Congrats to everyone with 846 updates! Quick question, did any of you use the 2019 look back provision?
Congrats, morningskye!
Nothing this morning. Still waiting and checking all day.
Same
@Aminah Jones, we’re gonna be in the next round. I’m claiming it right now! This was the simplest tax return I’ve ever filed and I owe nothing nor no no one. Hopefully, the IRS continues the random updates.
@Ashley, you’re not alone. I filed with JH and used the look back provision. My tax return was accepted on 2/11 and I’m claiming EITC and unemployment. I’ve not heard about the delay, but I can keep you posted.
February 10, 2021 at 3:45 pm in reply to: TurboTax: We Won’t Be Able to E-file Your Return…Error #4452054@LambFran I chatted with live support and it’s a known issue. I was told that TT is working with IRS to have the issue resolved. It’s happening due to the ‘look back’ for 2019 income in combination with filing unemployment (1099-C). I’m not doing anything wrong b/c the rep took over my screen and went through my return. At this point, it’s either wait until the issue is fixed or mail my return.

Received both TT emails
Just received stimulus payment (1/8@12:23pm)Good luck and see y’all in a few weeks!!!
Just checked mine using the payment tool and there’s no info available for my second stimulus, but my transcript says 846 refund code and dated for January 4th. Not sure what’s happening here.
@beautyfull I just counted and you are correct. Ppl are reaching at this point and it’s better to get other opinions than to run with one story.
I’m hearing word about the cycle code used for this stimulus check. My transcript is dated for January 4th with a cycle code 20205302. From what I understand, 53 stands for the week….there isn’t a 53rd week. I am not sure about this being the issue at all, just wanted to share what I found out. FYI, this was via a FB group.
If anyone banking with NCSECU receives a deposit, please update here. I’m still waiting this morning.
NCSECU and still waiting.
Nothing with NCSECU. I’ll check again at 8 am.
Update: I called customer service at NCSECU and the rep stated that the first batch of payments were released last night. Batches will continue to be released every night, even through the weekend in order to meet the deadline for the 4th.
Anyone get their’s and bank with NCSECU?
I’m still waiting like many others. I bank with NCSECU.
NCSECU has posted! Received it a little over an hour ago.
@Justin, I refuse to call to check b/c that’s the lie that’s told every single time. Just like Katbird said, one minute you’re told there’s nothing pending….5 mins later, money deposited. I hope that we all see it post in the AM.
@katbird, NCSECU recently added a place on your online account screen that says Deposits Pending and a rep told me (months ago) that it’s only for ATM check deposits. But, my kid and my niece both have pending deposits posted in the same place. Blew my mind when I saw it this morning. I’m even more blown away by my account reading $0.00 for Deposits Pending. 🤦🏽♀️
@Justin, my son, my niece and nephew all have pending deposits with the NCSECU…..but I’m still waiting. There’s hope!
Any updates? Payment pending? Nothing yet for me (SECU).
I bank with NCSECU and nothing yet. It’s a credit union, but still very traditional.
April 13, 2020 at 5:18 pm in reply to: Have ?? Keep calm, READ, and Keep Hope & Faith Alive #4403821Well said @thicks! Truth be told, this forum and this year’s tax season taught me just to be patient and to trust the process. I wasn’t expecting financial help from the government, but it will be an unexpected blessing for sure!
NCSECU and waiting….
Nothing for me yet. I bank with NCSECU and they’ve never shown pending deposits. I hope it’ll be Wednesday morning.
My credit union does not show pending deposits. So, I’ll wait until Wednesday (15th).
You’re right, @thicks. It was in affect in 2016 for filers. But, it was rolled out in 2015. It could be that they were working on software, etc towards the latter of 2015 (screwing with account info). I could be reaching, but you never know with the IRS. Just want us to all see that payment post.
@thicks, I read other forums where ppl are saying that 2020 was just added a few mins ago and some say that it was there when they woke up this morning. It seems like updates are happening at anytime. Also, 2015 was the first year for PATH and that could explain the AOD for that year/transcript. My processing date is still the same (2/10), as well. The IRS moving in real time is a bit trippy for me. Lol
Thanks, @thicks! I’ve tried to compare this payment with the way returns are processed and it’s somewhat similar sans the cycles. I appreciate the info!
Did anyone notice that the year 2020 was added to your IRS Account? When you log into your account, you can choose to either look at your account by year or you can view your transcripts. Check to see if the year 2020 was added.
@Sgt KJ The same thing on my transcript. Changed to April 27. I’ve been waiting to see if anyone else checked their transcript details. I believe the same thing….payment has processed or in the process.
BTW I bank with a credit union.
Got my deposit at 1:50am ET!!! This has been a journey for me and it’s now over! Congrats to all and good luck to all still waiting!
@WIZzZ I can only see that info on my laptop. It’s down in the bottom section under Amount Paid to You. It’ll list your RTN and DAN. Plus, the 1-2 day message.
Well, SBGTP updated for me. @Elled6, I have the same info/message, but I bank with a credit union. It’ll be tomorrow morning.
@ValerieOK LOL! No, but I do have a set of 21 yo twins and a 12 yo…all boys. So, I do know a little about patience. But, the IRS has tested my limit! 😂
@Gofigure, I’ve not received a refund in 6 years. It may not seem like it, but I’ve had the patience of a Mom with 3 sets of twins. LOL! But, I am excited for this year! Been a long time coming and my return was accepted on 1/21.
I sure will! Thanks, @Gofigure!
Thanks, Elled6! Phew, I was getting worried. I can see the message (For Payment Details, see below for more information) in blue at the top of the page. But, it does not say I was sent my refund and there’s nothing below but my expected amount. I’m ready for this to all be over and have my money in my bank account.
All I see is ‘For Payment Details, see below for more information.’ Then, nothing listed except the expected amount. No received amount nor date received. Hopefully, it will update tomorrow.
Can anyone see any other details other than the message “Payment details below, etc.” on SBTPG? Any received amounts shown?
Not another…any other.
Can anyone see another details other than the message “Payment details below, etc.” on SBTPG? Any received amounts shown?
@Yvonne, you could possibly have a DDD for 3/18 or 3/25. This Friday will be another update for transcripts.
@Yvonne Is the As Of Date 3/16 on your 2019 Transcript? Midway through the page the As Of Date will be listed twice.
@lilo What’s the As Of Date that’s in the midway through the page of your transcript, where your refund amount is located? It will listed there twice. That’s the important As Of Date.
@lilo What’s your AS OF DATE? Also, to be sure, the 826 code is on your current 2019 transcript, right?
Gofigure is right. If it’s an offset code on your transcripts and it’s now paid, your next update should be this Friday. Hopefully, your DDD will be 3/18.
@Yvonne Was your debt a federal tax debt (back taxes) or for something else (student loans, etc)?
Yeah, I assumed that you already checked with your bank by this point in time. But @thicks is right, check your bank info and check with your bank, as well.
*you’re…sorry.
@patientviv41 At the risk of redundancy, have you received any letters? Have you called the IRS or reached out to a tax advocate? The tax code 420 means ‘Examination of tax return’. You can definitely call in and get more info about your missing refund. Looks like either your refund was applied to a debt, held up for another reason or your really missing your refund.
@patientviv41 You’re good to go! 846 is the refund issued code. What date is beside 846? That’s your direct deposit date (DDD).
@Pissedviv Do you have any of the problematic codes: 570, 871, etc? If so, those have to be resolved first and it’s supposed to be done before your AOD. Also, keep in mind that if you’re a Daily, the info can change/update on Tuesday. If you’re a Weekly, the info will only update once a week (Friday). If your AOD has passed, call the IRS and be referred to a Tax Adocate ASAP!
@aands3511 CONGRATS!!! 🎊🎉🍾 Now, the last wait of the season…the deposit. But, we all finally made it! Happy spending and see ya in 2021!
(Cont’d) If you see that the AOD has changed, that means that they need more time. I found this out through my own experience, multiple calls to the IRS and a tax advocate, plus researching the IRS TC Manuel. I really hope this tidbit helps someone with their wait.
I hope that this info proves to be helpful: once your return is processed (processing date will be available when your transcript is complete), the AS OF DATE is what’s important. Everything must be complete, including TC 846, before the AS OF DATE.
@annoyed YAYYYYYYYYY! Congrats! So glad this tax season is over for us! You are so very welcome! Enjoy your hard earned money and I’ll see you back here next year LOL!
@annoyed I’m so sorry about the wait. It will suck the life right outta you while waiting. But, I guarantee that your DDD will be 3/18! One more week, the battle (old debt) is over. Now, there’s nowhere to go but up (Refund/DDD)!
@annoyed @AngryFLMan @aands3511 Any updates for you all? If you’re still waiting and can access your transcripts, tonight is the night!! Another round of updates.
@JayRed I actually had an agent working in the Balance Due dept to state to me that the system was antiquated and needed to be overhauled. She said that it’s aggravating that certain things can’t be rushed or overridden by anyone. It’s up to the dinosaur systems.
@AngryFLMan I read that, as well. But, I was sure to ask about that when I talked to the rep from the Balance Due dept. She assured me that the difference/refund will be direct deposited. BTW, I still haven’t received the letter and I was told that it was mailed on 2/10.
February 28, 2020 at 11:46 am in reply to: DELAYED (Back taxes, offsets, re-sequenced, etc) #4385466@AngryFLMan I was told that I will be receiving a CP49 letter via mail. I haven’t received just yet. But, my tax debt has been cleared and the difference is being direct deposited into my account. I’m not getting a paper check. IMO, it shouldn’t take more than a couple of weeks to get a check mailed to you.
