well yes and no. if your 1040 has your DD information, thats where the money should go. The IRS stated this.
if your 1040 has a temp/dummy account for processing fees, that is where this issue is about.

no one is looking at their returns before getting worried is the issue. lots of missinformation going around. People that have a STPBG routing and not their TT card will be the ones getting a check. the IRS is going off the tax return information. IE the 1040

@Mel C look at like 21a of your 1040 that is the account they have on file. I had my refund done the same way and it shows my turbo tax account as where the refund goes. Turbotax I believe takes the fees onces it hits that account as they are linked and doesnt go through sbtpg, I could be wrong but that line on 1040 is key though

FYI people, line 21a on your 1040 states where your refund went to. So you should get an idea how the stimulus check will get to you

So my transcript came in mail today…has nothing about this topic on it….

WMR says it “may” be offset but still shows my whole refund.
Hotline says the either it may or they are taking it,, it keeps changing.
Calling department of education, they are saying a letter was mailed last year to me, which i never got, so it might be taken, though I am in rehabiliation program they said starting that prevented it and a payment from DoE also says if i dont make payments they will take the refund..

so I am just lost and confused

I usually never had much faith in WMR as I usually had money while it said it was still processing..been like that for the last few years for me

When the refund gets kicked back to the IRS they will mail you a paper check…donno time frame on that though

Odd enough, was able to order the transcripts by mail, since the online thing always locks me out, and just filed and accepted yesterday

Yeah I filed this afternoon and an hour later it was accepted.. probably the fastest I have seen that happen for me..

it was deposited in my netspend card 1/30 in the afternoon..

my card hasnt even shown up yet

@Alize I said I Filed on 1/27, was accepted hour after that. today was able to order transcripts then I get email from netspend saying money was deposited…to bad the card hasnt shown up yet
