Unless you are a daily, you will not see an update until midnight or later. WMR will not update until transcripts update. WMR is usually behind and updates after some have received the deposit in their account.
Our page has been so quiet this year, filed 1/18 got ddd of 2/16 as of yesterday afternoon
My son’s mom filed hers or had me file hers for her on the 30th it was accepted the same day she’s already received her stay refund. Unfortunately she wanted a check mail to her as stupid as it is I tried to talk her out of it but apparently she’s afraid of technology. Anybody have any experience getting a check mail to them in the last few years? I haven’t had one mailed to me and 10 or 15 years maybe. But she has the earned income and child tax credit. Anybody have a ballpark idea when she might expect hers? Obviously I know you can’t say a specific date but just in general idea. Thanks for all the help everybody have a great day

VA state was very quick in processing this year as long as you filed after Feb 5. I was accepted on the 12th and approved today (15th). DDD 02/23. Hope this helps anyone in VA for a timeline. I had CTC , home business and college credits.Maybe we should start a list. 🤣

Didn’t they start putting out 846 codes around 11am cst. I would have to go through the thread on this forum and find it. But I remember everyone started getting their money on Chime later that evening.
Tomorrow is the 21 day point… fingers crossed I have a surprise in my bank account!
If the Department of Revenue adjusted my refund is there a chance that means its processed? I’ve never had that happen so I’m curious.
I’m seeing the same thing. I was accepted on the 30th and so many other people accepted the same day are getting updated. Hopefully I get updated too
The bottom line is this, your return is being processed, whether you can see your status updates or not. I can also tell you from experience that if you e-filed, and if you’re using automatic deposit, the process is very fast, especially for government work. Most of the time mine has been in the bank within 2 weeks after e-filing, but as it states on the site, most are in within 21 days. I don’t remember any of mine taking even that long.
I see on other sites several ppl just got approved today or received and being processed today.. No update for me but I’m happy to see some good progress. Hopefully tomorrow I can get approved too. Some said there’s went from not processed straight to approved.
Was there a path message this year on where’s my refund. Idk because I just checked for first time today and I had the regular bar menu.
@thecommi5h: Yes this is normal. We are seeing a lot of people have the 570 drop off pretty quickly without any action needed by you.
So I filed 2/2 no eic this year was accepted same day, within minutes actually. State just paid me this morning but absolutely nothing on federal lvl with transcripts, its like they haven’t even started on mine yet. Also its the quickest ever for me for state
A user reported SOFI bank rejecting deposits due to TPG coding the transaction wrong and sending it as a business account deposit instead of a personal account deposit which you will have to wait months to receive a deposit from the IRS
Mine still says your refund is still processing. plus how do you know if you are a weekly or a daily?

For some reason today when i check wheres my refund it tells me my info is incorrect. Could that mean they are finally working on it perhaps?

Lots of us are having issues with WMR being down. I made a post about it earlier, and alot of people are experiencing the same issue. I have a gut feeling that the IRS is doing a ginormous update. Stay calm, hopefully we all have some food news today concerning our refunds!Irs2go has been working for me (tells me my return has been accepted and is being processed), then suddenly it tells me I’m not entering correct info. I’m doing this from memory, but it seems to me that last year this happened between stages. In other words the status was in the process of changing to the next step. Either that, or the system is overwhelmed.

Filed 2/10, accepted same dayI know I only filed 5 days ago, but this morning WMR switched to “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” Still have regular bar, tax topic 152, and nothing showing on IRS website that I need to verify or anything. Transcripts still show N/A, 2023 is listed for wages but nothing there when I click on it. I am usually a daily.
Hoping that’s just it, they’re still processing – I did only file 5 days ago. Always makes me nervous. Has anyone else had WMR switch to this message?
Filed and accepted 1/17/2024. Cycle 20240505. Transcript has a process date 2/19/2024. WMR still shows path message.
I just want to call down there to the IRS and tell them I am not paying you any more money. Until you give me my money. Every two weeks they receives their money. Without a glitch 😕. Here it is Path Day I have nothing no message same sentence “you have been received” blank transcripts with “your taxes have not been processed”. I’m a weekly..
No 846 code yet but my transcripts updated last night. Just waiting on that 846!!
Filed 2/2 Eic, Aotc, ctc accepted 2/2 with no movement on wmr. Really didn’t check because I know how this goes lol.
It gives that error message when too many people are checking their statuses at once, it happened last year as well.
Path lifts after today, it doesn’t update til starting tomorrow.

I’m not sure, but I’m thinking probably ESTJust wanted to see if everyone that filed the same time as me is in the same boat. Each year I file on 2/10 and normally my DDD is the earliest available with PATH filers. Transcripts still show n/a this morning, nothing list under wages for 2023. Do transcripts usually update once per day, or can they update at anytime? I’ve been a daily the past few years. Is the mass update supposed to be tonight, or was it last night?
The update times in the IGMR calendar show 3am – 7am. Is that EST or PST?
Is anyone else experiencing the app being down this morning? I’ve also checked their website for my refund as well as called the 800 number and all of them are down. Today is the day they said it’ll be processed for ppl who filed tax credits and today I check and it’s all down!! I’ve read others’ messages and a lot of you say it never takes this long. I concur! It always took about 2-3 weeks from filing date. I filed on 1/29! Can anyone help? Anyone else having this problem? What’s going on??

You’re not receiving a refund status error message. You’re being looped back to the information input screen because the fetch request for your status page can’t be completed. Don’t stress. An error message regarding your tax situation would appear on the page that is *not* loading right now, and will be readily apparent :)

My transcripts always update on the 16th and I bounce between daily and weekly. This year I’m a weekly so should have an update tomorrow morning
So if I have CK & a ddd for State Return of 2/20 when do I get it ? I recall getting it earlier but idk I’ve seen two people say they got it 2 days early in Mass my best friend has hers in hand from the mail. So idk.

Woke up to the same, code 971. Hopefully something simple. No notice posted online yet. Probably need to verify wages as we work for the state and do not pay SSA taxes. We will see. Delays, delays, delays.
Just talked to agent and all status errors for those under audit.
