Here’s our story filed 2/3 approved in minutes after the 21st day all bars on wmr disappeared called irs says everything looks fine taking a bit longer than usual a week later called back and had to verify identity they said to go to irs office with Id to prove identity did that on March 2nd.
Transcripts came up a week later with processing date of 20150915 there is a 570 with date of 3/23 and as of today no update.
Called on Monday lady says it’s almost done with review but also did say she sees that we have called at least once a week and to be mindful when you call they tack on an additional 30 days so now to wait til may
        How is that possible

I also have the same codes- and the cycle calendar gave a date of 3/26- did you get your funds?

I filed on 2.15. Was accepted on 2.16. My spouse filed and was accepted on the same days. Received their return on 2.25. On 3.9 I telephoned and found out that I needed to verify my ID due to a random check due to filing via TT. Answered a few questions and they said the hold was lifted and it would be 6-9 more weeks. To date, I still can’t view any transcripts and my WMR still says “still processing”.

I am just curious if ANYONE has received any updates or returns after verifying ID?

570 is a hold on your funds for now. When you get 846 they will release them to be sent to you.

You lost bars because that was your normal 21 days, but yours is taking longer.

Does anyone have any new updates? I do not know what number to call. My Taxes were filed 02/28/15, received my federal in a week. Says my state has been accepted but not approved. It’s been almost 4 weeks!

@ Sondra still no update for me as well. I’ve called multiple times. I faxed the forms on 03/02 and a week after called to confirm they’ve received, but there was no update. I still can’t view my transcripts and WMR still says processing with no bars. It’s been 24 days since they’ve revived my forms :( in so frustrated.

Reality has set in… Doesn’t look like I will be able to go back to school this summer. Without completed transcripts, I can not receive financial aid, and without a refund I couldn’t pay for classes if I wanted too. Nothing left to do but wait, I am due for graduation in December. If I miss my summer classes I can’t graduate until may 2016. Sad!

Still no updates. No transcripts, no wmr. I’m devastated.

I just looked at my transcript this week. Let us know if it updates. I will check on Friday and post again.

Well still nothing. I know when I filed the IS form that it would take 8 to 11 weeks but now that people are slowly getting their money I am getting annoyed. Filed the 29th and accepted the day after. I efiled the IS form with my return. Bars left mid February. I have been stuck with a 570 code for weeks now!! What number can I call to check on this?

                                        @Tina,

I was told to count 6 – 8 weeks from when they received your injured spouse form. The IRS received my Injured Spouse on Feb. 17 and my transcripts show the 971 code received 2-17-2015. I am now on my fifth week so hopefully I will see code 766 – reversal of refund applied to non-irs debt and code 846 – refund issued on my transcripts this Friday March 27, 2015.

I will let you know on Friday if there was any movement on my account.

                                        BROOKE

PLEASE HELP ME! When I call the IRS the automated system says they are too busy to take my call.

I mailed my injured spouse claim the day after I e-filed my taxes and my transcript shows codes:
                                          846 refund issued ($full amount) on 2/16/15
898 refund applied to non-irs debt ($full amount) on 2/16/15
971 injured spouse claim received ($0.00) on 2/3/15
There is no 570 code. My husband is the one with back child support and he didn’t earn any wages in 2014, so I think the full refund amount is mine. How do I know if the injured spouse claim has been accepted or rejected? Is there another code to be looking for? What is the next step?!

Has anyone received an Alabama refund? I e-filed through turbotax. Mine was accepted on 1/26/2015, and I’ve had the same status since I began checking it:

Your return has been received and it is being processed. The processing time varies for each return.
You should receive your refund 8 to 12 weeks from today provided you do not owe any taxes for prior years or other state agencies.

It hasn’t changed in well over a month…

                                                      Hello Everyone,

For those of you that have had trouble obtaining a copy of you 1095A through the health insurance market place, here something that may help. I talked to a agent 3 weeks in a row trying to get this form so I could submit the information to the irs. After verifying my info, the agent had me create another health insurance market place account. Once I did, she took the application id from my old health insurance market place account, and added it under my new account. When she did this, I was able to access my 1095A to print off and fax to the irs. Still waiting to see how long it will take to get my refund.

Cause it takes a week or 2 after they finish it to get you a date. I filed and accepted on the 30th of Jan

The IRS didnt tell me anything of the sort so that was my situation. I am just waiting on my TA to correspond with me on the next step from her sending all of this information into the IRS.

This is my first year filing the IS form because our refund was offset for my husband’s student loans. All of the income was mine. I efiled the 10th or 11th of Feb. When I realized there was going to be an offset I mailed the IS form on Feb13th. My transcript says that the IS claim was received 3-12-15 with the 971 code. So my questions are: Is that the date that I count 6-8 weeks from? Or how long should I expect it to take to see my refund from there? And has anyone received theirs faster than the 6 weeks from the claim received date? Sorry I am so confused, I have tried figuring this out but this is rough with it being the first time to do this.

I filed a 8379 form stand alone as i did last year. but this year I am confused with my transcript.

                                                                              I have codes:

Does anyone know about this hardship refund? I wish i knew what was going on but IRS rejects my call everyday due to high call volume,,,

                                                                              Thanks,

The classic do nothing and wait we can’t tell you why. I guess I’m supposed to wait until 4/16 before they will even consider giving my refund and from there they can decide if they need more time. I was also told to stop calling.

in reply to: DDD REJECTED BY BANK #4110719

You are correct yes the bank rejected my refund because of mismatched name. When I got the TA she researched my account, and she found that the IRS was done reviewing the account on 2-26-15. But, she said what the extra hold up is because of the education credit I claimed. However, I didn’t know nothing about the education credit being the hold up until the TA research my account because as I know the reason for the hold up was because the bank rejected the refund and how they labeled it. But, my question is why the IRS would hold up my refund for the education credit when they approved the refund to be direct deposit in the first? So, now that the bank rejected the refund and because the way the bank labeled it now the IRS has questions about the education credit. So, that the bottom line to my story.

i wasn’t asked to submit anything but hardship docs….

once you fax over all requested docs to your assigned tax advocate, they, in turn, fill out paperwork and send forms to IRS. The next day, IRS opens a case based on hardship info sent by tax advocate on our behalf . @Shi – you were right that it does take 7-10 business for IRS to make a decision. but, i think a lot of us (including myself) were under the impression that check was mailed shortly after that. NOT TRUE. after the 7-10 business days, the IRS contacts our advocates and advises IF the hardship was even approved. best case scenario – hardship is approved and a check will be put into the system and cut within 1 week from date of hardship decision. BUT…my tax advocate let me know that the IRS is VERY strict about hardship requests and that there is a 50/50 chance it will or won’t be approved. also, the advocate told me that she will not know the extent to which IRS is researching our accounts until they send her info after the 7-10 days. she said that IRS may request additional info IF they randomly select the return to go to examination dept (manual AUDIT, worst case scenario). she said, If that’s the case, it would be 2-4 months before a check could be issued IF everything checked out. she told me that Georgia is so backed up with advocacy claims that my case was routed to her in Oregon. she was very nice, though. and told me to hope for the best, in that my check would arrive in 2-3 weeks from yesterday…
just giving yall a heads up. i will have a better idea about what’s going to happen once yalls 7-10 day timeframe is up and yalls advocate tells y’all the response from the IRS…

I have nothing to share except my story. I filed and was accepted January 23rd. I can not tell you when my bars disappeared, but I did start off with them. I waited until my Expected Refund Date the TurboTax gave me and I called. At first I got nothing, but automated and I hate automated. I tried to keep pressing zero, but the automated voice got an attitude with me and I cant take that! So I looked on forums on Facebook and everyone is talking about there transcripts. So I go and get those and I get a message saying my account is blocked and I should call some number. So I called and was told she don’t know why I had to call them and said something about being fine and then I said what should I do and I was told nothing….okay that’s cool. So I wait a little more the whole month of February and Half of March( I am pretty patient) So I called back two weeks ago to a number I got off of here and was told I got pulled for ID he gave me a number and transferred me, but as this was going on I went to ID-verify and was told I was blocked on there because of something…Got on the phone with the woman and was told I was pulled for review and that i should expect to be released within 6-8 weeks. 6 weeks was up on March 16th and 8 weeks is up on the 30th. So today I called cause I am still not able to access my transcripts or have a DDD and was again not told anything but given plenty more time to wait. I have no answers I have not been sent a letter and I have not received a phone call. Nobody is telling me anything. The lady today got nasty with me cause I asked what department my return was in. I mean she must know something cause she said the department its in does not give updates??? I mean I am just a measly tax payer but I am pretty sure you just said you pretty much know where it is! She didn’t like that! I just hung up and called a TA that is supposed to contact me by this Friday…I hope she calls me with some good news. My patience has reached maximum level and I am about to riot…Whose With Me?? Its my money and I need it now! Anybody got a pitch fork I can borrow!

All in due time many would say, but man I am struggling here. I am making the best out of what I have, but I could sure use a tiny little bit of help. I am tired and I just want to take a break from work so I can have a four day weekend, catch up on some sleep, catch up on Game of Thrones and I missed like all the season finales. I can’t take a day off, cause if I do somebodies bill isn’t getting paid. What I don’t understand is how they can hold onto your money for whatever reason they are and not give you any news as to why. I mean if you owe them you practically have to leave the country to get them off your back. The people that they hire are so rude…I am a huge believer in good customer service…it takes everything in my not to call one them a name other than the one they were given. I just smile and so okay…Savages.

Any who anybody who has any idea what I should do besides the advocate that would be great!

in reply to: January and waiting. #4110702

My Wage & Income transcript has begun to be filled out- it was blank up until today. It has all of my information except for one of my 2 employers. Hopefully once they send their information to the IRS, I’ll see some type of update. Sweeeet.

Just told to wait 45-60 days from the date on the letter and that I was randomly pulled for review to verify my income and whatnot. At least that’s 2 people who have told me basically the same thing.

Just gonna sit here and continue to wait, I guess. Sorry I’ve no better updates.

This year we are not on the offset list, but an IRS person suggested we include it for good measure…bad idea. We now have a 570 code for no reason, and our money is delayed. All this because they saw the form…didn’t even check the offset list yet. How much sense does that make? We are cycle 20150805. Is there a chance that we will process early this year? Last year we did the same exact thing with no problems. I’m so frustrated.

If you do I believe that the refund get’s split between the two of you, regardless of who made the most income. I do live in a community property state, so I’m not 100% sure. My other question is have you considered filing, married filing separately? You lose a little money on standard deduction, but it’s not a lot. I don’t file separately because I can’t claim the education credit if I do. If you are claiming the earned income credit, you can’t file separately either, you have to file head of household, but if neither of these apply to your situation you might want consider it filing separately in the future. You can always amend your tax return and file the amended return with married filing separately to get your share of the refund back.

I had to file an amended return due to not receiving a w2 form by the time i filed. My TA faxed all of my information over today and she said that the IRS has 10 business days to respond to her. After the 7th of April my funds should be released but I have an offset so the money has to be sent to the Department of Treasury and then to me. She said I should receive my money hopefully by the 3rd week of April. Ive waited this long three more weeks cant hurt :) keep me posted

I did call her last week to see if she received the information I faxed to her, and her response was yes. But, she didn’t say whether she sent the information on over to the IRS. Well in the beginning when she first called me on March 9th she stated I wouldn’t be hearing from her until the 30th of March or before. Also, she did say once she have the release my money it would take a week to update. So, probably would hear something from her this week she did say on the 30th or before the 30th.

My tax transcript had account action pending for the longest. Friday 3/20/15 my transcript changed and now has two code 846 refund issued 20151105 04-06-15. both code 846 has different refund amounts. assuming one is the offset (IS) and one is mine, what date should I recieve my refund?

OR, worse-case scenario – IRS could possibly send my return to examination (review dept) and then i’m screwed because it will be 2-4 months. so, it’s just a waiting game right now…

I discovered this forum this year and am glad I stumbled upon it. Good luck to those still waiting on their refunds and just in case it helps anyone, I am posting my info below …

I live in Texas and have been filing IS for the last 4 years. The first year I filed the form via mail , the next two I efiled with my return and this year via priority mail separate from my return. Prior to this year I have received my refund anywhere from 9-11 weeks after filing. Last year a “1800# Irs rep” told me it took longer when you file with your return because it has to be sent to a separate department for processing so I mailed it the day after I efiled my return.

Never got any letters. How long before they send the money please. IRS also faxed me a copy of my transcript.

I called on Feb 25 and was told that people who had the marketplace insurance had to wait 45 days and that I did not have to send my 1095 in because it was correct with what the marketplace had in their computer. I was assigned a TA on March 4 because of hardship. My TA called me on March 6 and told me that I did not have to fax anything in and that she was going to send my info over to IRS to tell them to release my refund by the March 13. My TA called me on March 12 but I missed her call so I did not talk with her until March 17, which was the day that she said she was going to call me back, and she told me that they needed a copy of my 1095 by March 19 so that they can finish processing my return. I faxed the information to her on the 17 so I was wondering if anyone knows how much longer it would take me to get my return. My transcript online still has my old address on it but I filed with my new address.
