All of u need to relax, eventually ull get ur refund, 1/19 was the first official day the IRS started taking efilers, so that being said if u filed earlier than that day, 1/19 is day 1 from the 21mark days to get dd date refund, by check about 5 extra days, i efiled on 1/20 with turbo tax, accepted but still not approved on WMR irs site, eventually ill get my 5k by next monday so no big deal….

Does anyone know when the next update for DDD is? I filed on the 13th and was accepted on the 14th, called today and the guy said “even though is says we accepted it on the 14th, we actually accepted it on the 19th like everyone elses, so you have to wait 21 days after the 19th which should be feb 11th.” I feel that I should get my refund this week.

I also told the guu that theres people I know personally who filed and got accepted the same days as me and they have a DDD of 2/3, what I dont get is why I dont have mine.

Well here’s some news that may be of interest. Last year I filed on the same day – 1/26 – thru TA and I received my refund on Wednesday 2/4 ?! So if all the planets are aligned, I’m thinking this Wednesday 2/3 will be THE day!! The only changes on my return this year was the $150 energy credit for our new gas boiler (big deal – the thing cost us $8000!) and I lost my daughter as a dependent. I doubt they raise any red flags.

Pretty sure, as I stated earlier, that WMR didn’t move until AFTER I received our money. Fingers crossed!

@Shanta I have the same problem you do and the lady i talked to said they are supposed to tell us that but she gave me additional information that i posted in an earlier post this morning.. I called when they first opened and they probably weren’t frustrated with all the calls by then.. Is there anyway you can call when they open at 7 a.m.? @curious, I looked at the verified id forum that is on this same website and a lot of people are talking about waiting 6-9 weeks for their refund.. Switch over to that one and see some of the examples of people with that issue.. Its not encouraging, but at least you will know, some people didn’t wait that long though, they waited just one more week, others didnt. :-(

Okay… I won’t use IRS jargon like everyone else so this will be readable.

So….. I filed Jan 17th thru H&R Block, was Accepted within the hour.. As of today, on the IRS “Where’s my Refund” site, currently it’s still showing “Accepted”..

Now…. My Girlfriend filed the 20th thru H&R Block as well, was Accepted within the hour. Hers showed Accepted until last night. Now it’s showing Approved with a Deposit Date of the 2/5/2016.

I filed 3 days BEFORE her and mine is still in Accepted Status.. Is anyone else experiencing this too? WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE???

I called the IRS AT THAT NUMBER WITH EXT 652 I called 10X and got the same answer must Wait 21 days from the 19th when they first stop accepting I FILED 1/20 accepted within a hour. One bar on WMR TOPIC 152 only can get account transcript but it’s taking so long and people who file illegal are out eating lobster and I’m trying to buy a car for work SMFH I’m beyond frustrated

I was able to reach the IRS last Monday and asked them if there was any holdup with the taxes. We were concerned with filing Head of household and for the fact he had not filed in 7 hears (FYI in his name not mine, I make too much monday and he was unemployed on disability for a while just got back to work last year) The lady he talked to said everything was fine on the taxes and there should be no hold ups so I am starting to think we are in a dead space. I am going to attempt calling the IRS again after work and see if maybe calling them will jumpstart it a bit. They have to give us something!

toya and finalcountdown, you are correct sbbt is pst, in cali, i am in wa state and still nothing, i did call them and all the man said was he hasn’t received my funds yet and that if i dont receive them by wednesdy to call bacl, but the message saying they havent received the funds yet and its passed the ddd is because tey go by 21 days after its filed, which would be today, so they have a different ddd then the irs so we need to go by what the irs says, but what i remember from previous years is that sbbt has received it n the date the irs says i will receive it, and i get it a couple of hours later.

I used TT for the last 6 years and it has never taken me this long to get a ddd. Filed federal and state on 1/19/16 fed was accepted 3 hours later but state wasn’t accepted until the next day. I was able to order account transcripts on the 1/29 but still can’t order the return one. Still at 1 bar and topic 152 I’m in Ga. I’d feel so much better of I had a dad even if it was in March. Fingers ctossed we will all have good news in the am.

Does anyone know how to get to their full site? Last year people were able to look at their complete account. Trace number and all. When a trace number was issued that’s how people knew their funds were about to be released. Now it doesn’t give a full site option on dashboard.

Filed 1/23 via TT. Accepted by IRS less than an hour later. Sat at one bar until last Friday. Figured I’d give it till today to see if it updates – no luck. Called IRS this morning, found out I needed to Verify my id. Was instructed to call that dept and did. Spent over an hr on the phone between holding and completing the verify process. Agent told me 9 weeks from the day that my return is green lighted, which according to him could take 2 weeks just to be reviewed and put back to processing status. When I asked him why my return is being put through this he had no logical answer other than “your return was selected to be reviewed more closely”. This is incredibly frustrating bc like many Americans I desperately need this money and to be singled out for no good reason makes me feel a certain way about our great gvot. I truly hope my situation is like the ppl that had to be id verified and received their returns within a week or so. I need this return by 3/1 just to survive. Any advice on what I can do to expedite this process is greatly appreciated. God Bless America!

I am also under manual review for the second year in a row! Anyways, faxed in W2 and first two pages of return and still nothing. Website has not updated at all. I have my fax confirmation but I am not even sure they have it. I called today and was told they cant tell me anything and it can take up to 30 more days if they have it. I was basically just told to hang onto my FAX confirmation in case they didn’t get it! OMG!

@Ron I mentioned before that I only had bar for a few days after I filed and then they never returned–at least not until 1/30 where I had two bars and a DD. No bars isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I filed early which was on the 7th and got accepted on the 11th. More than likely it’s nothing—frustrating, but nothing to worry about. Sometimes you’ll have the bar and sometimes you won’t. I think if you see a different code other than 152 or you get a notice to contact the IRS, you’re fine.

Mine was accepted on the 20th but the website and phone number were still attempting to look up last year’s returns as of this morning.
