Sbbt automated line told me my refund was received by the IRS today and sent to my bank with an ACH posting date of 2/3. I imagine my Chase account will update overnight! Yay!

Filed and accepted 1/28 with TT. One bar on wmr. Regular W-2 and EIC.

Last year filed and accepted 3/30 and had my money 4/7. Also last year I had a 1099 and self employment business and it was still quick.

Hopefully we will get DDD tomorrow if not most likely Saturday we will see a DDD.

I notice the early filers have the most issues every year which is why I never filed early. This is my first year filing in January. I always do February or March. Less stress.

I have used TurboTax for years and Netspend for years. This year I filed 1/27, I was accepted @ 10:48am EST and am still waiting. From what everyone has said, I should expect a DDD of 2/5 (as early as 2/3). Last year I filed the same day just at night and received my DD 3 DAYS AFTER!

Can anyone explain what the significance of being able to order return transcripts. Does this mean the refund should be expected soon. i was able to order mine on 01/29 however i am a little discouraged because WMR has now updated to needed additional information with tax topic 151

Filed and accepted 1/25. Missouri State was deposited this morning. WMR on 1 Bar, TT152, Etc. Was able to order account trannys under hubbys ssn yesterday under our old address. Now it is not accepting either address so I cannot check for return tranny. Wondering if that’s a good sign or no, since they could be updating address information possibly. Checked for things under my ssn but ofcourse he is primary so I have to use his. Starting to get frustrated. Was hoping for a DDD of 2/5 but who knows now.

@MamaB – yes, a miscommunication. :) Mine says “A refund for this social security number has not yet been received.” But it does have a 0.00 for my amount and its been that way from day one.

I haven’t checked with my banks though to see if they too have 0.00 but if yours says 0.00 sent to x bank then it looks likes yours is on its way. I think I am in the weekly bunch and will not update until probably next week on weds with a thurs/fri deposit, which I am totally good with.

I used to file early and for the past two years would get my refund after my boyfriend which frustrated the heck out of me since he never files until late feb. This year I waited as long as I could possibly stand it LOL. I encourage everyone to file as soon as they get their 1099s and w2s in order to decrease the possibility of identity theft. If you file first, the criminals can’t ruin it for you!

So I just got a text message from Republic Bank & Trust that says my tax return was deposited in my bank account and it should be available from 1 to 5 days!

@HappyFeet- Its showing tax topic 151. I called the IRS and they stated that nothing looked a unusual on there in and it was normal to sometimes get a status requesting additional information. However they were not able to provide any additional information. So now its just a waiting game i guess

@hailey2016 I called and said that I received a call saying it was the irs and they wanted to verify my social security #. (Clearly a lie to make them check my account lol) I called 1800-829-0582 ext 652. The wait time was less then 1 minute. The lady put me on hold for a couple minutes to look into my account and gave me the info I needed. If you are going to call, call now since that extension doesn’t seem to be busy at all. Just tell them that and they will pull up your info.

It appears Im not the only one waiting on money to hit my card from SBTG. Atleast we can see that they have received the funds and sent them. In all reality it takes 48 hours because of 3rd party involvement. Im assuming Net Spend and American Express Serve will receive and credit tonight or tomorrow morning I hope. this is the last time I use a middle man for anything. I am grateful that I was able to push through without any issues and my heart goes out to all of you in need of your money. As for the TROLLS on here being crazy and rude…ignore them. As humans we all should be helping each other and offering any information to anyone that may help. As americans we stand alone with this issue.. everyone needs to get out of the big bank sector out of the pre paid card sector and start looking into credit unions for real. Just think if this year was rough what next year is going to be like. I am as guilty as the rest and its apparent we cant trust the higher ups… ill be on here until my money hits to offer any info I can..not sure if it will help but Ill try

My update. I filed on the 19th of Jan. Got accepted the same day. I never lost bars still at one tax topic 152 with no codes. I spoke with two IRS agents this morning one told me I wouldn’t be able too get my refund transcripts until after the 9th. The other one told me I got delayed a week to give it 28 days not 21. If I dont receive my return bye the 17th of Feb to call back.

@mama, I’ve noticed the same thing with early filers. It seems when I did have everything in order and filed early, I was hung up and didn’t get through until at least the second batch. If I wait, there’s usually about a 7-day turnaround.

And absolutely, when it’s your money, 24 hours is too dang long!

I filed on 01/29/16, accepted that same day. I just got a DDD of 02/03/15. I used Turbo Tax. It seems like state refunds are always pretty quick. At least for us anyway. Good luck!

@Jesse Each Liberty Tax Franchise is free to partner with a variety of banks. You’ll have to check with liberty tax you went to. It should be on the paperwork they gave you that you signed for the fees.

So I just called the IRS. I filed on 1/21 and received an email from turbo tax saying it was accepted the same day. Turns out the lady I just spoke to from the it’s told me that they actually didn’t accept it and start processing until 1/25 and I had no problems with my return. So if you guys are just going by the email of acceptance from your tax preparation company it is most likely not the correct date. Sort of feeling a little bit better considering I thought it’s been processing 4 days longer than it actually has. Still hope to see an update tonight but not really counting on it. Can pull my account transcript since last Friday but not my return transcript. Maybe this will make some of you guys feel a little better

Woke up yet again to still one bar. Filed at h&r block on 1/20. Irs accepted return on 1/22.
Last year my refund was approved on a Wednesday so I’m hoping this year follows suit and I wake up tomorrow to a ddd. I have two friends that were accepted on 1/19 and they both got their refund deposited to their accounts yesterday. Their original ddd was 2/3 but received it 2 days earlier.
I’d like to just at least see that my return is processing

I was being funny.
I’ve been filing taxes for 30 some odd years, I find that it doesn’t matter how long it’s been when it comes to a persons money, well, you just don’t mess around ?

Also for the past 5-10 years, I’ve seen early filers get delayed almost always, and those that wait until last week of January/ first week of Feb get theirs much quicker since it’s no longer a “test phase”

Hi, I filed on 1/20…have a small offset so I was expecting a little bit of a delay even though it says there won’t be one so up until about two days ago I hadn’t really checked much of anything. Anywho, filed with my street adress as I’m 99% positive I always have. I was able to order account transcript days ago with street address. I tried to call this morning to see if return transcript was ready and I noticed instead of street number it was asking for a po box number…I do have one, so I just entered it out of curiosity and it let me order the 2015 return transcript…so I called to verify address, the lady at the IRS said that the po box number was what they had on file even though I know for a fact it’s not what I used. She also said that even if I was able to order a return transcript it would be completely blank. That makes no sense to me since all I’ve been hearing/told is that once return transcript is available your return is processesd. and…how do they have my po box on file!? I’m so ready for this to be over. It’s not even that much money, but just the fact that I have to try to be a detective and decode all of the different answers I get/see about this stuff..it’s driving me nuts!

Hi everyone. I have been following this forum for about a two weeks. I spoke to the IRS on yesterday and I was told that I was randomly selected for a 1 week review. I know the rep was untruthful because the taxpayer advocate researched my account thirty minutes before and said there was nothing wrong with my return, and I should have it this week. So after speaking to the irs , I called the advocate again. They explained the resequencing issue due to me filing too early and an overload on processing for the initial open date of the 19th. She said it was delayed for 1/week due to resequencing. I believe this is what the IRS rep knew but didn’t want to admit the mess up on the IRS open date issues. I truly believe most of us will have an update tomorrow morning. Filed – 1/14. Accepted – 1/14. Ordered account transcript – 1/29. Bars dissapeared – 1/31 at midnight. I spoke to a rep today and was given a general answer ( If your bars dissapeared and you don’t have an error code or message, it is just finishing processing) I was worried because last year I had the same message but no tax topic 152 and it was due to Jackson Hewitt forgot to submit my 1095a and 8962. I received a notice within two weeks. With that being said be sure if you had healthcare, make sure your form were submitted and pass the information along to your family and friends. And NEVER FILE EARLY or on the FIRST TWO DAYS!!!!!

@MamaB – No deposit. I filed 1/28 and about 30 minutes later I logged into the Republic site and it looked like how I pasted it in previously. I have been checking it a couple of times a day since I filed with no changes. I keep hoping to see money there!
