I sent in my injured spouse form separately from my tax return after they took money from a 2010 tax return for my husband (I thought they could only come after for ten years or less). The IRS received it on 6/27. I know that 8 weeks will be 8/22-ish. When has everyone else been getting their return?

It will be the date beside the code 846 (refund issued).
I mailed my original return in 1/24/22 via UPS and the IRS received it on 1/26/22. On 7/12/22 I received a letter from IRS requesting additional documents. 7/13/22 I faxed the additional documents back. 7/29/22 my transcript updated with DD date.

I have received 2 60 day notices & I got an ID verify notice on July 1st . My as of date has changed every week since my transcripts have been available but they didn’t change last week or this week so I’m hoping that’s a sign it might finally be processing this week. Fingers crossed .

Does anybody know exactly who is getting these checks that Florida is sending out. Some say single mothers are but some say no so I’m just trying to get more info on this. If you already received it respond here also

Yes, the same thing happened to me this year. I knew why it was rejected and mailed the supporting documents along with the return but they just ignored it. The funny thing about it is that no one in my family(spouse or dependents) was ever signed up for the Marketplace insurance. My husband is covered by his employer and my dependents and I are covered under my employer. I agree…it’s so frustrating!!!

I got the same thing even though I mailed my supporting documents along with the return. This just shows how inefficient the IRS is. Last year it took 10 weeks once it went to the errors department.

I mailed mine Feb 9. Heard nothing since until 2 days ago I received a letter with a request for Form 8962 and a 1095-A. Immediately sent them back in yesterdays mail. All of this info was in my original return so I don’t know why I had to do it again

I filed electronically in February. Nothing on wmr, doesn’t even show it being received. Second year in a row of this. I talked to so many saying they got their refund inside a week. This makes no sense.

Amended and IRS received August 5, 2021. I amended because I left a 1099 off my original return. March, I made my first call to IRS, it hasn’t been assigned to anyone. Just sitting with the backlog. Made my second call May. They said it has been assigned to someone, but no idea how long it would to process. It’s now been a little over 11 months and still no refund, or any information about it. I’ll be making a third call soon.

I filed in Feb and it was received on Feb 10. Just this week WMR updated to still processing but no bars. Before this week there was nothing there, also Account transcript still says N/A. I requested assistance from my congresswoman and was told the IRS told them that they will not start processing my return until 10/15/22. I don’t understand why I have to wait ANOTHER 4 months. I sent my documents in via fax and email within a week and they didn’t “receive it” until March 24th somehow. UPDATE: I checked WMR and it now says my return is still being processed. I have no bars just the message. It has said NOTHING before this weekend, so I’m hoping they are processing it AS WE SPEAK. Transcripts still show N/A though. Will keep everyone updated.

Paper filers I received a DDD of June 29. I’ve been mailing in my tax returns since I had my first job back in 1973. This year I mailed in my simple form 1040 return on January 28. I had no idea it was received until June 18 when WMR finally reflected it. Two bars didn’t show up until today June 25. My banking site shows the scheduled DDD. I’m pleased of course but disappointed in the time it took to get to this point.

For a few weeks I’ve had a star next to the 2021 link in my return transcripts. Starting today I have a star next to both 2020 and 2021. The links on both go to an IRS pdf that says there is an error and to try again later. Nothing else is updated.

I’d recommend opening a Taxpayer Advocate case re the unemployment exclusion. Can’t say for certain that is what sped up the processing of my amended return, but I figured it couldn’t hurt.

So the date on my transcript changed to June 6, 2022 (in May itself) but the processing date still shows May 2021 and nothing else has changed as far as the line items on the account transcript. I have the amended return ready but not sending it in as IRS is basically just rejecting it anyways. But should I send it in just to get them to take a look at the actual tax return maybe?

I did an amended return. Caught the error and fixed it myself. IRS on the phone said if I didn’t fix it they would have and sent our refund sooner but since I fixed it it has to go through a process now and she said 20 Weekes or long from March 5 2022. I think tax payers are pay the Government back for the so called stimuluses.

I wrote my senators and my US representative regarding this. We should all do this. It is beyond stupid for this to be happening. Also, please make sure you’re not charged any late fees and that you receive credit for interest when they finally get around to processing your returns.

I mailed in my return on February 9th. I check WMR and my IRS account daily. Nothing has happened until today on my IRS account under my return transcripts for 2021 there was a letter stating I have not filed.

It’s stupid that they can’t open your mailed in return, update something we can see that shows they received it, and then stick it in a pile for them to process it. At this point more than 4 months later I don’t even know if they have it.

I noticed on another forum that a paper filer had finally got an update on WMR this weekend that taxes had been received and were being processed. He mailed his return on 01/28/2022. This is the first update I have been able to find for paper return filed this year. Hope we all are next!

I just checked my taxes and it mentioned refund was sent and issued. Then some 10ish days later it says code 720 refund applied back to account. Now at the top I have my refund amount with a – after it. How does one now obtain that money? I am assuming they sent it to my bank and the bank must have sent it back is my guess. Mind you, this happened back in April. So my refund has been sitting in my account for almost 2 months now. I just need to know how to request this.
