I’m still stuck and it’s been 6 weeks today. Same scenario.
I tried to call this morning and they are having technical difficulties. I knew this was going to happen as soon as the relief package passed.
I called as soon as my transcripts updated and saw the 570 & 971 to find out what was coming so I could see if they needed anything else and they said no.
What really doesn’t make sense is my wage transcript hasn’t updated, but my wages have been reported to social security.
Not just you, but I also got a letter on Monday that I needed to file my daughter’s 1095a with my return as well as hers because she’s still a partial dependent. TT never prompted for it on either return, but I knew to look for it on hers so mine is delayed 6-8 weeks (some people have been less) so not sure if that’s the issue or not. I would think I would still be able to see them with an error code, but according to the tax advocate, it’s been rejected. Hell, I don’t know.
I called the advocate and was told there was nothing they could do because my return was basically rejected for not having all the necessary forms. Thanks TurboTax.
@ayannasade
I called the number on my letter, but there is a pinned post that tells you how to get a live person. If it doesn’t work, let me know!I would call the IRS and see if there is a letter en route to you. The letter I received yesterday said to include a copy of it (they sent 2 copied) with what I fax over and the agent I spoke with said it helps things move more quickly.
If any of you received a 1095a and didn’t file it, that could be your issue. TT didn’t prompt for it and the IRS is sending letters requesting it and the form that goes with it. Got mine yesterday and faxed it all back. Ugh.

There is a pinned topic about how to get a live person at the IRS.
My other question would be if you received a 1095a and didn’t file it. It’s been a common issue this year because of the law changes, especially if you filed with TT. It’s what caused my problem. You still need to call to find out if you have a letter on the way or if it’s something else.
February 25, 2020 at 10:49 am in reply to: DELAYED (Back taxes, offsets, re-sequenced, etc) #4376546I’m new to being delayed. Apparently, I was supposed to file my daughter’s 1095a with my taxes as well as hers because she is still a partial dependent. TT didn’t prompt for it at all. I received the letter yesterday and faxed everything over. Would calling the tax advocate help move things along at all? I’m a PATHer and really can’t wait 6 to 8 weeks for them to reprocess everything.

Me, too. Got the letter yesterday. Did you owe or did you have a credit back? I have a credit back and I’m curious to see if there’s any difference in time in one getting processed faster than the other.
The form was actually for my daughter and I had already filed it on her taxes and didn’t know I also needed to file it on mine. She’s a partial dependent this year and TT didn’t prompt me for it at all.
February 25, 2020 at 10:33 am in reply to: We have received your tax return and it is being processed #4376491RT, do you have a letter or are you trying to figure out what’s wrong?
That’s a generic acceptance based on TT not finding any errors and being a trusted filer. I filed via TT and was accepted right away, too. Got my letter from the IRS yesterday.
Did any of you receive a 1095a and not file it?

Did any of you receive a 1095a that you didn’t file?
I would call and see if a letter is en route. Health insurance isn’t required, but if you got it through the Marketplace and received and 1095a, you have to file it along with the form 8962 or else the IRS won’t accept your return.

Insurance through the Marketplace isn’t required, but if you had it through the Marketplace and received a 1095a, you have to file it. IRS won’t accept your return without it.

Sorry, I’ve been having trouble posting so posted again…
February 25, 2020 at 6:34 am in reply to: anyone else have your tax return is still being processed. a refund date will be #4375732If any of you had Marketplace insurance, make sure you filed your 1095a. TT didn’t prompt for it this year and it’s causing a lot of issues. They will not accept your return without it.
Glad you started this thread.
Filed and accepted 2/1. Received the letter today 2/24 (dated 2/21). I’m a PATHer and the 1095A is for my daughter who technically still qualifies as a partial dependent. I added it to her return, but didn’t know I needed to add it to mine.
Faxed everything over today and don’t owe, so not sure if that will expedite things for me or not.
February 24, 2020 at 6:01 pm in reply to: Forgot My 1095-A and Now WMR Says Still Being Processed #4374073I didn’t even know I needed to fill the stupid thing out with my taxes since it was for my daughter and we filed it with hers, but apparently we’re supposed to file it with both of them since she’s still a “dependent” one more year on mine. Ugh! Now I know what the hold up has been. Got the letter today.
I really hope it doesn’t take 6-8 weeks and that was one confusing form!
I’ve never trust the WMR, but what’s really weird is having blank transcripts this late in the game and the WMR going from one bar to no bars. That is all new for me this year and quite disconcerting.
Filed/accepted 2/1 via TT
WMR went to still being processed with no bars 2/21
Transcripts are still blank and Account Transcript as an As of date of 3/2So happy for those finally getting their transcripts and a DD! I keep checking mine, but still nada. Things are so wonky this year!
I woke up to this. I think it may have something to do with being a PATHer and my address being different for the first time in 5 years. I’m going to call them today to find out because I want to expedite things. My transcripts are still blank and I filed/accepted 2/1 via TT and I’ve never had blank transcripts for this long; not even during the government shut down last year.
Same here. Filed and accepted 2/1 via TurboTax, PATHer, blank transcripts, as of date 3/2. Never had to wait for transcripts this long. Starting to freak out.
This is the first year I’ve actually been worried. Last year it was a guessing game because of the shutdown, but at least I could see my transcripts. I filed and was accepted 2/1 and I still have no transcripts. I know I’m not alone in this, but I also know that no transcripts=no refund.
I’ve traditionally been a weekly, but I keep checking them hoping something will updated before Friday. I don’t even bother with the WMR.
I’m glad I found this thread. I filed 2/1, accepted same day and my transcripts are still blank. I don’t recall it ever taking this long before. Glad to know I’m not the only one.
