Yeah, I’m waiting. Nothing so far. They said they were going in order of returns received but that’s definitely not true because I got my refund on 02/22 and my coworker got hers 2 weeks ago and she woke up to her surplus deposit and my GTC account shows nothing.

The amended return was for 2020 didn’t add that, but hopefully I’m not the only one waiting. Anyone else?

E-filed amended return on 5/10/22 WMAR updated 5/11/22 saying it could be 16 weeks; transcripts updated 5/13/22 to as of date 5/30/22 anyone else? And does it really take 16 weeks?

Did the IRS mess up on anyone’s 2021 refund? I got my initial refund in March but it was reduced. Turns out IRS made a mistake and now I’ll get that money back. But will the 2021 transcripts change or they add a new transcript?

Well I finally got some movement. I mailed my IS form in after our refund was offset. They received it on 3/1/22 and my transcript didn’t change until yesterday, updated with codes 971-injured spouse claim received, 766-removed refund applied to non-irs debt and 290-additional tax assessed. Still no 846, hopefully soon. I’m just glad to know my form didn’t get lost in a paper pile.

Filed 2/4 accepted same day. Was asked to verify identity in April. Now i have a code 570 dated 05/09 and Code 971 dated 05/16. I received the 971 noticed today (05/14) stating they’re doing an additional review that could take up to 60 days. Notice also says I don’t have to do anything. Refund amount hasn’t been adjusted and wmr says “processing” no mention of delays.

We have had a 570 code since the very beginning. Our transcripts updated the Friday after we filed (04-13), have not gotten a 971 or 571 code but got a DD date of 5/18. We don’t ever get our refund this fast, it usually takes an average of 10 months.

Received an email and text late last night that the refund/rebate was sent but it didn’t show in my account yet. I never get dd’s early though. Hopefully tomorrow or Monday. My 2021 refund was a few days behind the email/text as well.

I’ve been told 5 different dates, I’m past 12 weeks & I need the money that is rightfully due to me. I’m calling again today if I can get through.

Been waiting for my refund since May 4th. Reached to this folks by filling out 2 tickets which hqve both not been responded to. Called them twice and both times there was no response after holding for 1 hour to first time and 51 minutes the second time. Called turbo tqx and they told me to keep trying to call. Awful experience!!!

    RESPONSE: GA
On my 2021 tax transcript is says no record found so I did some research and this is what I found : If you see a message of “No Record of return
filed” for the current tax year, it means
information has not populated to the transcript
yet. Check back in late May. Current tax year
information may not be complete until July.

LATE MAY is what I was going to do anyways bcuz I’m tired of checking everyday ! Hope this helps better I hope someone gets there return !

I have same code. But I’m still showing that they’re processing it. I got a notice in mail that they need 7-10 days to figure it out and send payment blah blah blah. I already did the ID Verification for the 2nd year in a row, months ago. I have a Tax Advocate and they have 8 none days to contact me. They have 45 days total. What is the hold up?;It’s a 1040. Single w2. , no Child Credit. Just a simple return.

I amended last years return in July 2021 for the unemployment offset and just got off the phone with the irs and it has finally processed. I have to wait 4 more weeks for the check to arrive to me. However I am happy that I will be receiving it soon.

So the IRS sent me form 15111 stating I may have missed out on earned income credit.

Turns out I did qualify I failed it all out and sent it in on March 25th, 2022, the day after i recieved it.

When should I expect to hear back whether I’m getting $1502 back or not?

If someone could shed some light on my situation I would greatly appreciate it. Alright I received a notice to file my 2015 return, which I did. The thing is I was not expecting a refund but my transcript shows a (-balance) my question is, If a negative balance reflects on the taxpayer account does it mean the IRS will issue a refund? I understand the three years stat on claiming a refund so this is why it’s confusing. Why would they show a balance on transcript just to be like haha I got your money, you should’ve been quicker than that lol but still. Just would like to see anyone experienced this situation. Thanks.

I filed late this year because I had a lot going on and wasn’t able to do it early because of different circumstances. I finally filed on 4/26 I believe, but it’s not showing up on the transcripts yet as even being in their system but it’s showing up as received on WMR. I filed electronically and included the IS with it.

Interestingly enough, I filed an amended return for 2020 and that’s already showing on my 2020 transcript lol – I filed that electronically as well.

Same filed 2/17 A 2/18. 3/17 WMR said refund RECEIVED and to wait 21 days. Then changed to processing delay N/A on transcript it’s like I haven’t even filed. This is CRAZY. And all ATC payment was entered correctly.

Mine was received on 02/10/22 and still nothing. I have called twice and was told both time that they don’t see it updated in their system and to allow another 16 weeks from the date of call. So sad but I read somewhere, where to expect to wait 6-9 months for processing.

Yup. I originally filed on the 7th. I resubmitted and fixed it on the 14th. I keep calling every week. Seems like somehow it’s more difficult than ever to actual get a rep. And the last time I got one, they redirected me to another department, where I got sent to someone who told me I’d get a call back in a certain timeframe, and they never called me back.
