Making this to document for future reference.
I was accepted on 1/15. On 1/24 I updated to “still processing” and no tax topic. I had a verification notification on irs.gov but it disappeared and didn’t come back. On 1/31 I called the irs and I was told I needed to verify but had to wait on a letter. The agent put in a request for the letter to be sent.
As of today my transcripts are still blank and my as of date has been stuck on 2/10. My wages didn’t show up on ssa.gov until 2/1. Will continue to update and feel free to add your experience as well. -

It took 3 weeks total after they placed the 811 for it to post to my transcript, but I finally got my 846.

Update: Called the number again today and my return was in their department. They were able to remove the freeze on my account. Not sure what’s next because I also have a 570. I was told before that I didn’t need to worry about that code because my amendment took care of it. Hopefully it was released by the 290 being placed and this was my last step. I guess time will tell.

Update: More confused than ever. Called 866 883 0235 (frivilous returns) and was told my return is not in their department and she was sorry she didn’t have any further information. I asked where it is and they said it’s in the witholding review department. I have a 570 in addition to the 810. Is 570 the witholding review? Is 810 witholding review?

I called the IRS today and was told that all the controls have been cleared. I have no clue what that means. She said since I have a hold that was input manually, the release has to be manual. A referral was sent to remove the hold, and she told me to give it 90 days, but it shouldn’t take that long.

Update: 810 disappeared a couple weeks ago. Im guessing its no longer a transcript code?? Yesterday a 570 popped up dated for 5/26. I owe a balance for 2022 and the status it is now showing no info with a message that it is in the process of being updated.

Nvm. It saying $0.00 means nothing. My transcripts updated with an as of date of May 05 and that’s it. No new codes.

Update: My amended return doesn’t say completed yet. None of my transcripts have updated (5:30am), I’m guessing bc its Good Friday. I looked at my account balance and for the first time it says $0.00 for 2024. It was saying info before. Not sure if that’s a good sign because the balance for 2022 is still showing. I think if my refund was coming it would have been offset for that $174. I have been in these 810 trenches for so long. Let me out! Lol. See yal in the next update.

Update: I had to amend my return.
Amended: 2/25
Showed on wmar: 3/14
Showed as adjusted on transcript: 3/21, but wmar stayed stuck on 1st bar.On 3/27 they mailed me a letter saying my return was adjusted but I had to wait 180 days for review. I guessed that was why my return wasn’t showing as adjusted, even though it was showing on my transcript. This morning when I looked at wmar it said adjusted 4/4. See yal in the next update.

Research I have done says that it usually doesn’t take thatong—-9weeks! Usually 2-3 at most and some as quick as 7 days !

Stupid question probably but where is the “as of” date? I have a non-filing letter and a blank wage transcript. Every time I check them it’s the current date at the top.

My “Still Processing” triggered me to login to Irs.gov using my ID.ME and then under the notifications I had one for Verify. I had same last year but never got the letter and it just disappeared at some point. I got the letter today marked for Feb 12, 2025 and went and did the verify in my notifications. All seemed to go well so here’s to hoping I see it in less than 9 weeks!!!!!

Can anyone please tell me what the as of date means when ur transcript is blank? I have an ass off date 2/24. My cycle was 0705 last year. U guys seem to know what’s going on. I got my refund on the 20 of Feb last year. But I also had a daughter to claim as a dependent this year and I also verified, which went thru successfully. I wonder if the new dependant would cause a stir being that I’ve filed the same way for so many years.

Update:
Today my transcript filled in with codes 150, 806, 766, 810, and 768. The 810 is dated 2/11. On a positive note, my w2 showed up on the irs site yesterday, and today my wmr message changed from “still being processed” to “is being processed”. I don’t know what they will need to remove the 810 refund freeze but hopefully it won’t take too long.
On the irs site, the home page is still showing the message that my return has not been processed and balance for 2024 is “info”. -

Just finished verifying in person and it was really easy. She only asked for my 2024 return, id, and social security card. She didn’t ask me any questions, just held a conversation with me about the crazy weather and about how we are almost birthday twins. Lol. Did some typing and clicks and gave me the 9 weeks speech. Now I wait.

@ambo
There are people who had to idverify with an ip pin. Not sure why bc it defeats the purpose. -

Where do you see info on your taxes on your id.me account?

Ambo,
Our situation sounds almost exact. I filed 1/20 & was accepted 1/21 (early filer in the test batch). I’m path, transcripts stuck on as of date Feb 10th, 0.00, with no other movement. I claim eic, 1 dependent. I have the you may have to verify, you may not, if not, we will keep processing b.s. on my wmr as well as ID ME account. I had a pin, but it allowed me to opt out this year, so I did. I also hear this could be a glitch that may clear up on its own. -

My as of date is stuck on 2/10 I never saw an ID verify message but I am required to supply an IP Pin on my return which I did and it was accepted. I was part of the early test batch.
Wonder if anyone has ever had to verify identity after supplying the correct IP Pin? And wonder why my as of date is still 2/10 with no movement on my transcripts. I did claim actc and eic so I know I have to wait until Feb 15th but some sort of movement on my transcript would make me feel better
