Not being crazy about it lol. .. I’m just a bit worried about it and irritated. I’m about ready to go to bed soon and hope we all see good news in the morning.
I work tech support, websites and technology are definitely far from perfect but sbtpg site has been so bad and yes as someone said earlier they should’ve prepared their site better.
This just isn’t right, yep gotta rant and vent for a quick minute.. We get charged $40 to have our fees taken out of refund… I am pretty sure I saw on sbtpg website it would be deposited 1-2 before ddd date-someone correct me if I’m wrong- and we have had issues, errors, incorrect amounts, incorrect dates, etc etc…. I feel like we deserve our $40 fee back after all this. Okay, I just had to vent. Let’s hope getting to finish line goes smoother for everyone!!!
@bodagirl yes cold here in MN buuut temps this week have felt like a heatwave lol! Anyway, when I try to get onto site and still showed it’s down, closed it, opened page back up, refreshed page a couple times, kept loading and loading and then after a min or two the login page finally came up…was able to login after all that 😝. Says my routing number, account number, date 2/26 and says allow 1-2 days for deposit to reach account. Grrrr!!!!

Erm… One, no I will not use them again next year and two, I am far from irresponsible….. I have concerns about sbtpg and I have enough on my plate where I don’t want to have to deal with issues if sbtpg screws something up. That’s my worry, I want to know what’s going on. You really didn’t need to put assumptions out there like that.I am still getting their website down message. Checked my PayPal prepaid account and no pending transactions right now. I’m just annoyed. I will never ever do TT again. This has been the worst tax filing season I have ever experienced.
Just checked and this is what I got “Our website is temporarily offline while we are upgrading our system. Our website will be back online by 4:00 PM (PST) on Tuesday, Feburary 25th.”
Just checked and shows amount in payment amount now!!! Good to see some good news this morning 😊!!! Congrats everyone!
@linn yep same for me too, I also had to pay $120 fees-fe,state and refund fee when I originally wanted free edition. Reason I will never do TT again.
Just checked and now has the received amount and date. Yay almost to the finish line!!!!
Nice to see some with pending deposits and movement :)! Heading to sleep. I will be here bright and early in the mornin.

@Andre very true! Guess I think the best of people til they prove me wrong, think I need to rethink that lol. But part of me doesn’t believe it but the way sbtpg site has been acting up a part of me believes it’s a possibility. But yea I have seen many all over this forum playing with the emotions of those of us who are stressing and those that really are in dire need of this money ASAP. I wish everyone a lot of luck and hope we all have happy news in the morning.
@Pjm thank you for letting us all know. But nooooo so now because of their issue we have to suffer and wait longer past our DDD date 😒. Maybe the rep you talked to is wrong, what I’m hoping anyway. I get that TONS of refunds were released but they should’ve been prepared for it.
I normally don’t put my two cents in when someone is being judgey but I need to say something…
@patty….. You don’t know what kind of situation me or any of these people are in. Personally I work my arse off, single mom, own my house, I rely on myself and only myself so yes this refund is going to help me get ahead as well as take a much needed vacation with my child. And as far as prepaid cards go.. They have less fees than traditional banks. There I’ve said my piece, I just had to.Lessons I learned from this year, I will never have fees taken out of refund and two, I won’t file early and three, I won’t be using TT. First year I have ever filed early. Usually file 2nd or 3rd wk of Feb. I filed 1/22 this year.
I was able to log into sbtpg, no issues, now seriously I’m not logging into it until morning 🤣🤣. I hope everyone gets their dd by end of tomorrow.I know I said I’d wait til morning… Again lol. But I’m going to try it since you all are having issues trying to get in. Going to check in a bit and let you all know.
I won’t be calling them unless I don’t have any movement by the 26th/27th. I work tech support customer service so I only call customer service when it’s absolutely NECESSARY 🤣. And when I said I wouldn’t be checking until the morning…. Well guess what?? I couldn’t help myself, I just had to check. Of course no change lol. I’m a very patient person but my patience with this has been tested!
Sorry guys, on break from work and it’s been a long long brain melting work day…i was just scrolling through here (after I made my last comment) and see that most likely sbtpg won’t update until tomorrow. I’m done checking sbtpg til tomorrow morning.
First time I try to log in it gives me error, second time it works but no change. I kinda figured as much but still I just want this to all be over. What a mess its been!
I can imagine they are really bogged down with so many ddd’s for 2/26. You all have been so informative and great :). Thank you so much!

Yes I agree, this year has been a mess! Making it hard for me to quit smoking, that’s for sure. My first year on IGMR and if it wasn’t for you guys and this forum I would’ve been even more stressed. I start work in couple hours but I will check sbtpg occasionally, let you all know if I have any changes.@Jake
Thank you for posting that, it made me less worried. This tax season has been my most stressful ever and I just want my money and be done with it!Sbtpg shows fees taken but $0 in the amount received columm. I don’t know if I should be worried or if it’s glitching or just needs more time to update. I have never had my refund go through sbtpg before.
I just checked sbtpg and they haven’t received yet but I’m assuming it’ll take couple more days….hopefully within next couple days anyway. But I have never seen a circle in my account. I’m only having fees taken out, I didn’t get an advance.
@jaysnap I don’t see a date anywhere or fees amount yet, all it says is “TPG has not received your federal tax refund. ” And then shows some columns Funding source and expected refund amount. Do you have a date on yours?
DDD 2/26- Filed with TT, fees to be taken out of refund so refund needs to go through sbtpg first which hasn’t shown there last I checked few hours ago . I’m having refund deposited to my PayPal Prepaid. Let you all know when it hits.
I just checked wmr and it said I have DDD of 2/26!!!!! Happy day!!! 😊😊😊
@Nikki I have seen people say it updates throughout the day but I don’t know if that’s correct or not. I can’t login this morning. Keeps saying it can’t find my account. I have had this issue a few times this week. Checking in awhile.
They sure made me feel like I needed to pay the fees in order for my taxes to be completed and submitted properly….. I felt forced to pay the fees which isn’t exactly cheap and they charged $40 just to have those fees taken from my refund. After I filed is when I found that actual FREE tax preparation is available through many, many places, especially those with low income. I won’t use TT next year.

Yep I am getting same, can’t locate my account, when I just checked. I have been successful at logging in quite a few times this week. Could be just a website glitch or too much traffic. I’m not too worried yet. I will try again before bed.
I just checked sbtpg and it said it couldn’t locate my account….I haven’t seen that error since I started checking it this past Monday. I have experienced the other error message off and on though.

I gotta say, this is my first year here on this forum and my first year ever filing early, I have so much on my plate that I just wanted to get doing my taxes out of the way. I usually file mid to late February…. This wait is driving me nuts. But this forum is awesome and I will let you all know if I have any changes. It’s still at processing return blah blah blah. Same message I have had since path message went away. And it’s been over a week since my bar disappeared.
Yep I get error too. Was fine this morning but just tried about 5 minutes ago and got error
I’m thinking IGMR is crashing, when I try to refresh page I get a Error 502. Then I back page and it’s fine too many trying to join the party lol
@Lu, I am a pather and I got my MN state refund dd on 02/05. I filed on 01/22, accepted 1/23. I have eic and actc. I have no idea if all states are the same. But I think path is just federal
I Was at one bar up until 2/10. Then I got the still processing message which it seems most people got this past week. Then this morning I just checked and refund amount has been replaced by “Tax season ending: Dec 31st 2019” and path message. I’m just hoping this is some generic thing irs posted and not some kind of issue. I’m going to try not to worry quite yet.
I just checked wmr and I now have path message and refund amount in left column is gone with a tax season ending Dec 31st 2019 shown instead. If I see changes I will let you all know
I had one bar since it was accepted. I filed on 1/22, accepted 1/23. This morning bars disappeared and says “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available”. I started worrying a bit when I saw that but now see it has happened to many yesterday and this morning. Maybe issue with website, glitch, too much traffic on the website. I don’t think we should worry too much about this, yet anyway.
Mine has been sitting at 1 bar with no path message up until this morning. Now no bars at all and says is “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available”. No clue if I should worry about this or not. I have already received my MN state refund last week.
I just looked at my account and it’s been deposited. That was way quick! I have the PayPal prepaid account, paychecks are direct deposited quickly too. Now the long wait for federal! Good luck my fellow Minnesotans :)
@Noblemama I’m a pather and looks like it doesn’t affect Mn as my refund was sent DD today… Still not in my account yet thought but may take another day or 2.
I just checked (on break from work) and shows sent. Let you all know when it hits my account.
I’ve been on preparing refund since 02/03, really hope it’s sent today! I will give update when it does hit sent
I’m starting to think some PATHers are receiving DDD earlier than they should be receiving because of an error or like KLB said falling through the cracks. I am hearing of more and more who are receiving earlier than they should be.

WMR has had one bar with the “We have received your tax return and it is being processed” since being accepted. I just checked this morning I still don’t have PATH message. This is first year I filed early. Usually I file 1st or 2nd week of Feb.Filed 01/22- accepted 01/23- I have had one bar since. I am a pather and still no path message. I assumed it would’ve updated by this morning. I’m going to try not to worry quite yet.
I also don’t have path message yet and I efiled/submitted with TT on 1/22- irs received 1/23
