Will do, filed and accepted on 27th of Jan. Transcripts all blank and “Still processing” with message for verify in irs dashboard messages. Same thing last year and it cleared when transcripts updated around 21st . Check was mailed second year in row last year as I had a large refund over 10k. I expect to see it by March 3rd. Had as of date of 17th up until today when I checked as the moved me to the next batch for March 03 it seems.

Last yearI filed about 3 days later than I did this year and got it on 03/01 so I am assuming it will be around end of month. Calling seems to work for some folks or they are playing a dirty trick as the one time I called I got all sorts of trouble and they haggled me that while tax season.

IT means ABSO-F’n-Lutely nothing folks. It is just a marker for next time they will touch the file or they set a date for that batch to be opened again on x date. Tells you nothing as they could get a delay or trigger an ID verify etc… Patience my friends! IT’s hard in this economy and sucks seeing illegals getting 1500 a month for showing up illegally but GOLDEN AGE IS COMING!

I got the ID verify showing up in my login but I know this will go away as it is not on Where’s my Refund as it wasn’t last year and I never got a letter even when requesting another one to be sent. It just went away all around the 17th -24th time frame. Patience and don’t overreact to anything that shows up unless they try to contact you or you get a letter or if someone knocks on your door (true story here in Georgia). Long story but it happened!

Me too Jennifer Starr…… I am PATHer so I expected it. from teh accepted date to my As of Date is 22 days which is more than the 21. They won’t touch mine again until at least Feb 17 (As of Date) or later which is possible as it usually does. I got this last year and then some 768 and other codes on my transcript when it finally populated. I got mailed a check on March 1st last year and so far I am seeing the exact same thing unfold this year.

Filed 1/27 accepted same day. WMR went from processing to still processing. My husband logs in with his ID.ME, there are transcripts, but they are blank with an as of date of 2/24, I don’t have any transcripts showing. This is just so strange.

Yeah, I got this last year and also this year. If you have ID.me already and you are not seeing this show up in WMR and you are PATH I would just ignore for now. I had all these codes on my return and refund issued on 03/01 last year so I am ignoring it until either I get a letter or a deposit.

I just talked to my IRS friend and he said that Elon’s team has been in there systems in the building in Kansas and Atlanta and they are taking databases off and online constantly as they are scanning. This will apparently delay ALL refunds to last week of MARCH!!!! If you don’t already have a deposit date than buckle up folks!

@kitty if it’s passed the 11 week mark I advise you to either get a TA or to contact your congressman. I contacted my congressman in the past and had my 846 code a week later.

This is my first year filing IS. I got married in 24 and spouse has some debts. I am frustrated with this process. I am 100% the only income. I filed/was accepted on 2/1, as of date 3/10, processing date 3/3. Now 11 weeks 5 days since filing. Code is 20250705. Nothing changed on my transcripts, other than the original as of date was 3/3, changed to 3/10 in mid February. Does anyone have any advice as to what to do? We are in need of our refund.

Update: My amended return doesn’t say completed yet. None of my transcripts have updated (5:30am), I’m guessing bc its Good Friday. I looked at my account balance and for the first time it says $0.00 for 2024. It was saying info before. Not sure if that’s a good sign because the balance for 2022 is still showing. I think if my refund was coming it would have been offset for that $174. I have been in these 810 trenches for so long. Let me out! Lol. See yal in the next update.

Update… still have not received my refund. I did however receive another letter, CP05A, requesting I wait another 60 days. I have called several times and get so many different answers I don’t even know what to believe. I see everything on my transcripts except 1 of my w2s. I asked the IRS how long does it usually take for them to see a w2 since that’s literally where my employer is supposed to send it, most of the IRS employees said they should see it right away.

@sgorham29 I’m sorry about your husband. Child support can be a mess, that’s why I file IS too. I will file IS every year because my husband is a disabled veteran. I work too hard for my coins for it to just go to the state. Child support needs an overhaul and I say this as I’ve been on both ends (payee and payor)!!

I have gone thru Tax Advocate 3 times congressman 1 time and this year I am at a loss as to what can be done. My husband had cancer and is voice box was removed, his children have children! He always paid but once he couldn’t speak he couldn’t work anymore not that child support cares, so that leaves me filing joint with injured spouse every year!!!!!!!

@sgorham29 I understand the frustration this process gives us. I too waited until June or later to receive my refund. I know of 2 years that has happened and both times I had to contact my congressman for assistance. Last year it came in May and I filed in mid-March. I figured if I wait until the majority filed it will expedite my refund quicker. I had no movement on my transcripts in a couple of weeks and I still show as of 4/07!! I f/a 3/02. Hopefully we both see something more positive soon!

Update: I had to amend my return.
Amended: 2/25
Showed on wmar: 3/14
Showed as adjusted on transcript: 3/21, but wmar stayed stuck on 1st bar.

On 3/27 they mailed me a letter saying my return was adjusted but I had to wait 180 days for review. I guessed that was why my return wasn’t showing as adjusted, even though it was showing on my transcript. This morning when I looked at wmar it said adjusted 4/4. See yal in the next update.

Congratulations!!!! I filed Jan 28, 2025 and was accepted the same day, I have received as of dates: 3/10 – 3/17 – 3/24 – 3/31 – 4/7 – 4/14 and now 4/21 these are the only updates I have gotten! Praying for DDD this Friday!

I just checked and my account transcript updated. It has code 846 refund issued 4/3. The others are still blank. Maybe they will finish updating by morning. WMR hasn’t updated. I’m happy to see an update. Cycle code 01.

I spoke with my advocate today. They discharged me and said none of them are allowed to help me. Apparently, those who filed early, around 15%, have a code that they are chalking up to a glitch. It will not let the system release us until July 1st, or unless they can fix it sooner. I asked why no one has told me this before and he said they’re being told not to release this information, but he claimed he felt bad for my situation. He also said we will be entitled to interest, but that’s little consolation.

My question is… when does an exemployer have to report our wages? the SSI page shows only one reported wages at my new job but not my old job, Im pretty sure this is the hold up as my other coworker who quit, also is on a 60 day review. Thanks!

After 2 months of blank transcripts, last Friday mine updated to completely filled out…but I have a 570 code. I’m really hoping that is referring to the verification I did. I was finally assigned an advocate 2 days before they suddenly filled in, so as little hope as I’m allowing myself, I have it all riding on Friday morning 🙏🏻

Did you file an injured spouse? Usually about a week after you get the 836 code, it will update again with an offset code and the amount to be taken. If the offset is less than your refund amount, you’ll get what’s remaining.
