Anyone getting a message that says they can’t verify personal information when trying to get credit karma refund advance?
I filed early got accepted on 1/19 update to the PATH message this morning and my transcripts updated Friday with an as of date of 2/13/2023
usually has to do with the age of your child or income.

The WMR updates once a day usually overnight, although it can give updates daily the largest updates are on Thursday early morning and Saturdays early morning
We at this site have not been able to verify anyone getting a DDD with the PATH credits, I dont believe anyone has received a DDD and will not until after 2/15
You are probably like me I have never been able to view transcripts online, I was only able to order them thru the mail. Never have been able to find out why and I have no desire to call to find out what the problem could be.
For hardships after a Department of Education offset

@Stressed out: you can file a financial hardship request with the department of education.Form is here: https://myeddebt.ed.gov/
After that, get the loans consolidated together under an income based repayment plan. You can also defer for economic hardship if you can prove it (if on food stamps or other assistance, you qualify)
I know it’s scary to call them but they really aren’t that bad. They try to work with you. I’m dealing with an offset myself and they told about the form to get my refund back. They said it takes a few weeks after they receive it.

@Stressed out: hey, I know a bunch of people have replied, I just wanna offer my support. I’ve been there too. I only have two kids but I owe about 20k to the department of education and after I missed too many payments they came after me hard- even wage garnishment- and we were paycheck to paycheck before that! It was terrifying but I just did the footwork and now I’m back in good standing and am slowly chipping away at the loan. Call them. Have a notebook and pen handy cause there’s a lot to do. I had to mail in previous tax returns, pay checks, proof of rent/utilities/car payments, ect. Sign repayment and rehab contracts, the whole shebang. But once all was said and done I didn’t have to worry about wage garnishment or refund offsets and my money can go back to taking care of my babies. Good luck! You can do this!

2016/01/24 4:35am@jamel huntet: I am I’m Ohio but haven’t filed my taxes yet, however I have seen several people on here say that you are required this year to go to Ohio.gov to file your state taxes. They are requiring it as an added security measure I guess. So you may want to go to the actual Ohio.gov website and check into it. If you file through there and it gets accepted then I believe the one you have filed with TT will just get rejected but that shouldn’t cause a problem. Hope this helps.

Yes I have aware of this problem with the EIC missing info it has caused a big slow down in processing
I think once they give you a ddd you are in the clear unless they find an offset then they can stop the dd to pay it
I just delete my browsing history I thought thats what they mean by clearing cache ,,,lol if not someone please tell ME how.

some ppl are getting ddd when the refund amount disappears so maybe it will happen for you usually within a couple of days
Also just to get it out there Dont just depend on the WMR for an update check your banks/andor cards for deposits because the WMR doesnt always update for everyone
