Ok guys, I’m gonna try to explain the daily verses weekly cycle to the best of my ability. All of this comes directly from the IRS manual. Daily accounts post within 4 days, weekly accounts post within 7. Most taxpayers will fall into the daily “accelerated” processing. If you are in a weekly account…your refund will “post” within a week of being accepted and your DDD will be scheduled for the following Wednesday. Account conditions that prevent accounts from being marked daily are conditions such as (list is not all inclusive):

      1. ITIN Accounts
      2. Foreign Addresses
      3. Campus Addresses
      4. Identity Theft Indicators
      5. Prisoner File
      6. Related MFT 31 Account (e.g., Bankruptcy, Offer-In-Compromise, Installment Agreements, Innocent Spouse)
      7. Criminal Investigation Activity
      8. Civil Penalty Account (MFT 55)
      9. Tax Module History (two years prior) with CI, Exam or Collection Activity

              Hello,

My return was accepted on 2/20; and my transcript cycle code = 20150905.

Does it mean I am on a weekly update or a daily one?

In regards to being on the daily schedule, does that mean that your processing time is 4 days or you will get your return within for days of it being accepted?

Ok, I’ve been wondering how this works, daily vs weekly. For 2012 my cycle code was 20120702 and for 2013 it was 20130901…does this mean that I’m a daily since they don’t end with an 05?? And what criteria does the IRS use to put people in those two different categories, I mean why would I be a daily or a weekly, and could I be a daily last year and a weekly this year? Any info would be great because I’m trying to figure out when I will see a change on both my transcripts and wmr. I filed my taxes on 2/13 and was able to pull my account transcript on 2/17 but it says no return filed with all 00’s, has my old address, and for filing status it says single although I filed a joint return with my husband. Again thanks for any additional information!!

so… if I had a taxa offset last year, I am a weekly? I was accepted on 2/9 this year. so when should I see a change?
