They stated that accounts are selected randomly to go through reviews and mine was one of them. 03-07-2022 date next to the 570 code is date 45 day hold begins and call back if refund is not received by April 21. Return could be processed sooner. Keep checking WMR and transcript and check mail for any possible notices.

@billie I talked to someone on Tuesday and she said that I’ll have a DDD by 3/7 and that my notice was already mailed out. She said the correction has been made, and I’ll get a 571 resolve code soon and then should have a DDD date no later than 3/7, and obviously my deposit shortly after.

I cant see my transcripts online so I tried to order them to come thru the mail and it says my 2021 transcript will be mailed in a few days so idk if that means my refund has been processed. I filed and was accepted on 2/1 everything was good until this past weekend. I had projected DD of 2/22 per TT and over the weekend (2/19) I got the delay message with topic 152 and still showing my refund amount. I look at my transcript and 2022 shows N/A and has not updated. My cycle code from last year ends in 05 so I hope I see something tomorrow morning .

Still NOTHING. Called SBTPG and they say my account is on hold for unusual activity. When I go to their website to try and update my information, they tell me they can’t find my SSN.

But I CAN use the taxpayer portal to find my refund using my SSN, so which one is it?

Thanks again Billie I tried 4 times and finally got through 569 works. I was on hold for an hour and a half. They told me that my fees had been released to Jackson Hewitt but are holding my return until I get a letter and follow what it says. So no updates yet but I did talk to an IRS rep who said since I got my 570 fixed last Friday over the phone it would be 7 days to get a 571 unfreeze release code and a DDD! So here’s to hoping tomorrow’s the day! My account on IRS no longer says that it’s processing even though the WMR says that it is.

I filed 2/13, accepted 2/14. Cycle 05 so I think that means I update on Thursday night/Friday if I am reading it right. I have had one bar this whole time but yesterday WMR changed to the still processing message. I’m hoping that I still get an update overnight though!

I have been trying to call since yesterday and all it says is “we are sorry but due to extremely high call volume in the topic you selected we are unable to take your call at this time.” I have called over 60 times between yesterday and today, at different times of the day and I have yet to even be placed on hold to speak to someone. I have a delayed message on WMR and 570 on my transcript.

When they send u the letter it will let u know what u can send to them..I sent them birth certificates for my kids and school reports that show they were with me with my name address on all for proof of dependents and EIC credit..I also sent them for proof of household which were my lease and 6 months Electric bills..

I filed through turbo tax with an estimated refund of $4899, I received a $2000 refund advance through them, and then when checking my transcripts, my refund amount was adjusted to $1899. I’m assuming due to the child tax credit advance. Does anyone know what is expected when you get a higher refund advance than what your return is. I’ve be never had this happen before. Holding out hope they won’t realize and I’ll still get a refund.

so after 2 hours on hold i finally got to speak with someone at the irs i had a 971 and 570 code with date 3/7/22 she said that my refund what being decreased because i claimed the rebate credit when i did get it so any way she said that the 3/7/22 is when they will send the letter out and that i can expect my refund 4-6 weeks after they mail the letter but she did say that this year she has been seeing them got out alot sooner

So I have same thing 570/971. I’ve had refund adjustments in the past and don’t need to do anything they just adjust them and issue refund(I know I put I didn’t get stimulus and I guess I did). Is this same thing, they will change it on their own they aren’t waiting on me to be notified or sign some notice right?

UPDATE called finally because I filed 2/2 had 1 bar until Monday I updated to delayed message have tt152 and it shows my refund amount still. Anyways lady was rude as hell, argued that ctc and stuff was only for June to December and argued that nobody could claim the other half lol. I finally read the later and she stopped arguing, anyways she said the delayed message was because I HAVE NOT PROCESSED YET. And said to wait.

I filed and was accepted on 2/1. I called on 2/22 and representative said that was my 21st day (I assume due to the holiday) so she couldn’t see my return. Said it was being processed…I called again on 2/23 and was told that the rep saw a received date of 2/23 and that I should wait another 21 days (March 16th). I typically update during the weekend and am hoping to update with something this weekend. If not, I’ll call back on Monday.
