According to an email I received from H&R Block, any filers with EIC and/or ACTC; The IRS will not start issuing payments until Mid-Feb. Your federal refund should appear in your bank account by the first week of March.
You’ll be able to check your federal refund status at Where’s My Refund? beginning February 22.April 11, 2020 at 5:04 pm in reply to: FYI::::STIMULUS CHECKS ARE BEING FRONTED BY SOME BANKS..NOT GOVERNMENT #4402218Not true, I personally know people that have received their stimulus and it twas not fronted by the bank.
Yess, me too @grace2020
Congrats @grace2020!! Ours hit at the same time 🙌 and I’m on the west coast.
💰 just hit my Chime!!! Until next year everyone and best wishes to everyone that’s still waiting 🙌🙏.
@MsEncore12 me too! Chime is playing lol. They deposit my payroll 3 days early though, but can’t deposit this overdue money 3 days early.. Smh
@grace2020 OOh you had will power lol. Right! & I need a couple extra dollars for pain and suffering 😆😂.Man oh man what an effed up tax year. I can’t wait to be making so much money I don’t even wanna file my taxes bc I’m gonna owe lol.
@grace2020 fr fr.. I’m not going to lie.. I hated getting on here and appreciated it at the same time and couldn’t stay off of here lol.. Seeing everyone else update when I wasn’t was soooo discouraging..
@grace2020 Girllll who are you telling!! I was stressed out to the maximum.. & Yes next year I’ll be filing later since I had to wait this damn long from filing early February.. & I didn’t even care about the review, I was pissed with getting the run around and no information being provided.
I meant *our money
@grace2020 Ikr, but on money is on thee way that’s better than where we were.
@layna92 Honestly I don’t know, I’d give the IRS a call on Monday just so you can get an answer as to what’s going on.
It just means that wages earned from 2019 have been reported by your employer and they’ve inputted them.
@karlitta It jist
@layna92 I really don’t know anything about transcripts other than what that code means… I don’t use those.. But I did find this on here, it may be able to help you https://igotmyrefund.com/groups/transcript/
March 7, 2020 at 3:24 pm in reply to: anyone else have your tax return is still being processed. a refund date will be #4390290@Joana That is such a blessing! I’m happy for those of us that finally got a DDD after waiting forever and I’m hopeful that the one’s that haven’t gotten a ddd yet, will have one soon. Please don’t sit around and wait if you’ve been waiting a month+, if you say you need the money, you need to inquire about it and make some moves…
You looking for an 846 with a date
I use Chime with a DDD of 3/11 & I’ll update when the 💰 hits!
Called again on 3/5 asking if there were any further indicators as to why my refund was being held and they told me no.. So then I mentioned experiencing a hardship and would like to be assigned a tax advocate and was given a referral and told it would be up to 5 days until one would reach out to me… I never heard from a TA as my 5 days wouldn’t have been until next week. I updated on WMR this morning with the approved bar highlighted a DDD of 3/11.
Call the IRS agent on Monday and ask if you qualify for a Tax Advocate or they may be able to tell you why your refund isn’t being or hasn’t been released yet. I was in the same situation.. Filed & accepted 2/05had one bar and then it went away with tax topic 152 & dollar amount.. Was told a letter was sent in 2/20 and I didn’t get it until the 29th.
@JACC, they may be working but they def ain’t taking no calls lol
If you filed in January and you have a letter 4464C & have had no movement. You need to call the IRS & ask them if they can see why your refund is being held.. You may need to send in some documents, ID verify or maybe nothing at all. Ask for a referral for a Tax Advocate & say that you’re experiencing a financial hardship.. If there’s nothing wrong with your return, you can have a DDD within a week.
March 7, 2020 at 12:08 pm in reply to: anyone else have your tax return is still being processed. a refund date will be #4390218@joana Amen 🙏
@Marc call the IRS monday morning and ask for a tax advocate due to hardship.. The IRS agent may be able to give you some insight on why your refund hasn’t been released.
I finally updated on WMR after losing all bars.. Under 60 day review since 2/19… Finally got a DDD!
@RT.. I feel you, well best of wishes!
1-800-829-0582 extension 653 or 652
@RT If I were you I’d fax over a 911 advocate form to your local office (you can locate on the IRS.Gov website) or call the IRS first thing Monday morning @ 1-800-829-0582 extension 653 or 652 and tell them you’re experiencing a financial hardship and would like to know if expediting your refund is an option. Also ask for a referral for a Tax Advocate (if you choose not to use your local office)..
If it’s been 4 weeks since you’ve filed your return & you’re under 60 day review, call the IRS & tell them you would like a Tax Advocate to expedite your refund due to hardship. The IRS rep will take down your hardship info and put a referral in for a Tax Advocate to reach out to you within 5 business days. When calling the IRS, repeat back their badge # to them so they know they can’t talk to you just any kind of way… Know your rights!! Knowledge is power ✊🏼✊🏼
So I just got off of the phone with an IRS rep on the Tax Advocate line and he basically told me that even if you fill out a hardship it does NOT speed up your review and that you still have to wait for the review to be completed before the hardship is even considered.
Your money is coming, just relax.
@Maypower I wouldn’t worry just yet, you barely just filed your taxes. Being on here is just going to make you anxious.. If anything is wrong, the IRS will make sure you’re aware one way or another. Hang in there
March 2, 2020 at 11:19 am in reply to: I have to wait March 9th for a letter, am I under a 60 day review? #4387299You can try contacting a tax advocate to see if they can help you, but essentially it’s just a waiting game at this point. I’m in the same situation, but my letter was dated for 2/19 and I didn’t receive it until 2/28 and I’m still waiting for an updated. I filed 2/05
@Pink Yes
Your refund will go to your bank acct that you provided at the time of you filing your return.. Look on your return and look at the routing and account #, if it says your bank information, then it will be going to your 🏦. Idk why they send those cards out..
1-800-829-0582 ext. 652 or 653.. Call Monday morning at 7am sharp.
@lca That’s awesome! I know it feels good to know that your 💰 is on thee way.
Just got my letter, dated for 2/19. No update on WMR and I don’t have access to my transcripts online (I ordered them last week).. Praying I have a DDD of 3/4 or sometime soon.
@Romero32 Sorry I wasn’t any help…
@Romero32 if I had to guess.. It’s just closing out your taxes for the year since 4/15 is the last day for people to file taxes on time.. But I really don’t know anything about reading transcripts other than the 846 with a DDD lol.
@Romero32 …Why would you be getting another deposit?? Lol
I really don’t know how that works… But I do know that you should be able to check on your TT to see if fees have been paid…
I think when you get that email, that means that they’ve collected their fees.. If you chose to pay the preparation fees out of your refund.
@lexlo9091 okay! I’ll do the same
@lexlo9091 Well that’s some hopeful news! Thank you for sharing and giving me hope.
@lexlo9091 Do you know if you were under a 60 day review or not?
