DD: 2/27I think that is just conjecture unpatiently waiting. All the other evidence is pointing at tomorrow, or Wednesday.
It’s usually between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. eastern standard time, depending on me update that varies a little. Also the wmr tends to go down at midnight, some people have reported getting updates as soon as it comes back online. Good luck!

I had a similar problem last year, but with a Walmart Money Card. I’ve had the same account for years, but they’ve changed Banks a few times, which changes the routing numbers.
The IRS deposited it. The bank still took it. It did delay by one day. I was panicked because I thought I was going to have to wait on a paper check, ugh.
Hopefully, if the bank realizes that the account belongs to you, and that you’re still a customer just with a new account number they will be able to rectify the problem there and not have to send it back to the IRS.

I have read some posts in other threads about the 2: 30P/5:30E release time, but I’m not sure where that information is originating from. It doesn’t seem likely that we would get deposits if the bank stops its procedures at 5 p.m. In which case they would still be available by tomorrow, but who knows?
@Danielle I believe the website says that all paper checks are cut on Friday.
Walmart Money Card here, and I’m hoping we wake up to it. Fingers crossed!!!
It’s too bad you can’t pin this, maybe an administrator will come by and do it. I think it would help a lot of people.
The government shutdown is not the primary reason for the delay is, that’s why you don’t see a lot of people talking about it.
The primary reason for the delays is the new Obama tax law that just went into effect this year, including the new ID verify system to protect people’s identity that went into effect under the Obama administration.
People try to stay out of the political realm on here, so there’s very few comments that are political based. Also, a lot of us are Democrats and we don’t want to admit that it was a Democratic president that kind of screwed up the taxes this year, LOL.
Go to a bank, if you are not a member you will have to pay a small fee, and get a cashier’s check made out to the car company. We do it all the time.
Tip: if you open a savings account for $10 you can get them for free from most banks.

I don’t receive half of my messages either Melanie, even after I updated my username. I think it’s just the site, it’s not very well made. Hopefully they get some new code before next year, ugh.

Have the same problem when I was using DJ, unfortunately I had to change my username to stop it.I’m not sure. I know walmartmoneycard and greendot can (that doesn’t mean they will).
@NCMama I have the same card, hoping they deposit early as well. I tried watching with the 1/22 updates to see if anyone had that card, but I didn’t see anyone oh, so I don’t know if anyone got it early. Other people have started topics for NetSpend and credit unions oh, maybe we should start one for Walmart Money Card, LOL.

@Melanie STILL processing may be an ID Verify issue. Call them Monday and find out. If that’s what it is a lot of people on here have said they were able to fix it that day with a fax machine. You’ll definitely get updated in the next update following you fixing the problem. Good luck!

I’ve noticed that a big group of us have filing dates of 1/28 or 1/29. I hope that’s good news.

TY for that. I had read somewhere, don’t remember if it was in a thread or in an article oh, that all people who filed 1/28 and 1/29 w/EIC are being classified as weeklies. Makes sense because in the past I have only checked by phone and only been updated on a weekly basis, so why wouldn’t I be weekly again, right? Fingers crossed for update!

They are from 3 to 6, however; past updates of happened when wmr went offline at midnight. It’s possible some people will see a change sooner then 3 a.m., fingers crossed.

Just checked again, ugh. Not that it makes a difference, but somehow it helps the anxiety, lol.
I didn’t get my transcripts this year, so I can only provide information I’ve read on other threads. It seems like it would update your wmr tonight for a deposit of 2/27. the processing dates don’t seem to mean much other than your form should be processed by that date. If you already have a DDD of 2/27, that should be your deposit date. Please take this with a grain of salt, again I am not an expert, nor do I personally have my transcripts this year. Good luck!

@Sameboat did you get your refund before update, or before DDD? I’m reading a lot of people got their refund sent to their bank today even though they never received an update on the wmr.
Hope for an update tonight, expect an update early Saturday morning.
