I got my deposit ladt year on a late/early wed morning….. Like 3am. So yall check this Wednesday early morning for an update. I have heaed that dd will start 29th…next friday. So based on how ach transfers work. …. A deposit date of 1/29 will have to be sent to your bank 2 days PRIOR to the deposit date…hence Friday 29th. Last year my bars went to 2…refund approved like 3 days b4 my deposit…never did get 3 bars.
The TRANSCRIPT THEORY is TRUE!! If u can order transcript….the accounting ones…that means you will have a dd date wothin 24-48hrs usually….and ur money within 3-4days after. U cannot download them online but u can request mailed. If ur able to request mailed ones and they r avaliable….your in the clear. I already tried but not ava yet

Thank you. Yes when I filled my return I stated that I had custody of them for 10 months. I did not claim all 12 months. My concern is can he sue me and file fraud charges? My father has bullied me about taxes and who claims what since I was in college and 90% of the time I backed off and gave him what he wanted. My parents have been escalatingly mentally, emotionally and financially abusive to me over the 3 years and this is the first time I put my foot down. I was hoping it would be accepted and approved before he found out but I made the mistake of telling my sister about this. It has been accepted but not approved yet. Can his lawyer put a stop on my return? Can they file fraud charges? I’m meeting with a lawyer next week, but I feel really bullied over this.

If you had them for over half the year it is your right to claim them. You have to have provided more than half their care financially. Where you had them seven months and he had them five you should be able to claim them unless he has a court order saying otherwise. Just make sure you put they lived with you seven months. He can file and claim them for five but won’t get much if anything.

I lived with my parents for 10 months of the year in 2015. They sued me for custody of my two children and won temporary custody in October. I had an income of $9,000 last year. I submitted my 2015 tax return, which I claimed my girls on because I had full custody of them for more than 7 months, on January 18th and was accepted. Today I received a text message from my father who found out I claimed them Stating that he wanted to clean them on his tax return in that he was going to sue me. he said that I would be hearing from his lawyer and that he is going to press fraud charges on me. Is this possible? Can they stop my rewritten from being processed after it is accepted? I thought that I had every legal right to claim my children because I had custody of them for more than 7 months and my income was more than $3,000. does anyone have any experience with this?

@ricks, some of us just want to know when it may arrive. Maybe we had serious health problem, I’ve spent several months in the hospital due to a JOB related injury. Even with losing money my bills ARE paid. I do not call IRS, I have checked WMR one time. I do want to send my son in the military a bigger than usual care package. He deserves it, while you are teaching your son responsibility mine is using lessons I taught him while protecting our country.

You should be teaching your son how to be kind to others too. I don’t see how teaching him it is cool to be rude will help him in life even if he does pay his bills. Something may happen when he can’t, you need to think about how you will react should that happen.

Turbo tax has an error they are working on. If you scroll some you will see $0 was deposited, the amount is whatever your return is.

I’m an unfit parent because I teach my kids not to live paycheck to paycheck? Or depend on someone/something that might or might not come through? We have different defination.of of unfit parenting. My kids never want for anything. They know the value of a penny. A 10 year old kid has saved his money for a trip to California because he wants to go bad. So after a lot of research online I have come to the conclusion that anyone who was accepted before the 19th will more than likely get their refunds on the 29th or before.

I received my IPPIN in the mail in the first week of January. I only had an issue with the processing of my refund during the first year, and I have been using the IPPIN for 4 years now. I think the only issue would be if someone was trying to steal your information again. My refunds have been pretty timely.

I had an incident back in 2010, where a someone filed an ammended tax return in my name. I didn’t find out about it until the following tax season (2011), when I filed with the IRS. The whole thing had me in tears. The gentlemen walked me through the process, and contacted the at origins for me. As it turned out, my sister-in-law’s address came up. I was able to report her for fraud, and the IRS perk used me with a IPPIN.

anyone having a problem getting a transcript I filed w my new address so earlier at 1pm I tried to order a transcript I put in my new address and it said it didn’t match so I put in my old address from last yr and it matched so I tried again now w my old address and new address it says it didn’t match whats up w that the lady at irs customer service said when my return is finished processing I will be able to order a transcript with my new address and that my address would be updated

I know last year I filed on the 19th of Jan through TT and had it dd on to Netspend card on 1/27 around midnight. I am hoping for the same type of time frame this year. I filed with H&R Block on 1/18 at 11pm and my status still shows as pending. Like everyone else I always received an email stating my return was accepted within a few hours, so I was a little concerned. I just called H&R Block and spoke to a customer service rep and she advised me that my return wasn’t actually submitted to the IRS until 1/20. She said they had an influx of returns that we in their queue. I assumed it was submitted on the 19th when the IRS started accepting them. I hope this information helps anyone else wondering why their status is still pending.

I see everyone saying deposits are made on Friday however last year I got my refund on Sunday at 10:30PM. And I filed on the 31st of January and received my money on 02/08/2015 9 days later. Hopefully this year I will get it by the 29th the latest since I filed early. As far as I know no one in any state has got there federal tax return approved. We should start see DDD by the 26th the latest. Hopefully before that but highly unlikely from what ive been hearing and reading that makes sense. Please stop saying that people are desperate, its their money and they should have it.

I filed HRB on 1-19 & was accepted 48 hours later today 1-21.
Keep in mind that there’s a heavy influx of people filing right now so it may take up to 48 hours. I got anxious since I have been accepted immediately in the past but I am feeling better now that i know they have it. I am just waiting on the approval & its all good from there. I expect they will be pumping out the refunds as soon as they can. Hang in there everyone, we will be paid soon!

We filed with H & R Block. Our federal was accepted 1/14/16. Our VT state return was accepted the same day. Our state’s website says they received our return. It also says allow 6 – 8 weeks for processing ! Last year, a lot of VT state people got tagged for fraud and had to wait for their money. Some people I heard waited until July. We got our VT state refund back in 6 days via DD, last year, though. The site never updated and just said allow 6 – 8 weeks for processing. But, this year, there is a thing on the VT web site saying some people wont get their state refund until after Feb 29 because of increased fraud. Last year, we got our federal back in 2 weeks and the where’s my refund site never went to 3 bars. This year, it still just shows one bar. So, I don’t know.

I filed on the 11th directly through ftb Cal file whenever I check wmr it tells me we cannot give any information online called and spoke to a report yesterday and she said it was still processing and I should see something by the end of next week. I filled my refund through Turbo Tax on 1/10/11. Received the “Refund Accepted” email on 1/11/11, with the early batch. I have been checking the WMR website everyday since the 11th and nothing has changed, still on the first bar. I know that the official 2016 refund processing was to begin on the 19th and that even if you were accepted on the first batch that your tax info would not be processed till first day of of tax open season. I am also curious as to when I will receive my DD and have been researching online as much as possible. This is what I found on the IRS website.

I think that maybe during the bellow noted times when the WMR website is not available updates are being made. So maybe checking the website after those times would be better than checking every hour on the hours. :) YUP thats me, I am just so anxious. I just hope that it is approved before anything then everything else should fall in place.
