Filed on Jan. 15. TurbotTax indicated received on Jan. 19. Just did CA FTB chat and the rep indicated that it takes up to 7 business days for the receipt of the tax return to “post.” Hope that helps.
I filed through TT on the 18th and was accepted on the 19th. WMR updated immediately. I also use Netspend for my returns since it’s a day or 2 sooner to see your refund.
TT says between January 20 and Feb 9 we should expect our refund. I hope this is right! Good luck everybody.Anyone else here use NETSPEND?

we filed on 19th with HR also…got accepted today. we have ed credits ans home business credits

Hello all. This is the forum for all who were accepted 1/19/16 so we can update each other on our progress.
Hello Mike, mine is doing the same exact thing. I was accepted 01/20 at 6:16 PM, but the MD site is not updated with my information. So I called and they said they can see it in their system. I dialed (410) 260-7701. Instead of pushing #1 and inputting your SSN, just wait on the line and someone will come through.
The SBBT site says mine will be deposited Feb 4th, mine was accepted the 14th. I have not counted days but think that’s about 21 days so it’s a generic guess. They always project later so people don’t blow up their phones if it doesn’t hit at midnight the projected day.

Hoping the rest goes as smoothly!Well the state of Michigan is not processing our state returns until January 29th which I normally get my State before I get anything, I don’t know whether to believe that person or not about the two bars but it’s not really that important, because I got a one year and only had one bar it never did go to approve it went from accepted to direct deposited
I file with freetaxusa.com I’m self employed and had to file a schedule C. Been filing with them for over 5yrs never had a problem. I use them because I don’t have to pay a fee to file schedule C.
Update- I filed 1/19 with H&R Block, checked WMR at 1:00pm and I just got accepted. I’m not sure why this year it’s taken a couple days every other year I’ve filed before I left the office I’d already have an acceptance.
Anyone get any info on their AZ state yet? I got accepted 2 days ago but my info isn’t on aztaxes.gov
No one, regardless of when they accepted your return, began processing before the 19th. They test the efile system early with whatever returns are in the queue and that is what they have done for years.
Had the same problem, i filed on 01/18/2016, i called the 800 number and managed to get past the automated system. talked to a person that told me to wait, but just as soon as i hung up i got a text saying it had been accepted. they didn’t admit it but they did something to fix it.
I filed 1/19 at 630 am through H&RBlock and my motherinlaw did hers at 7am same way-neither of us have been accepted yet. Anyone having an issue getting accepted? Dont know who I should call but i’m definitely not happy as it never takes more then a few hours in the past for it to be accepted.

I’m getting the same message:
“We do not have a record of your 2015 California Income Tax return in our files.”
Accepted on 1/19. Can’t check anything online because they have to mail the pin number for any FTB account.
I’ll update when there is any change.
For those asking about TPG login failure. The site is back up. I just tried to login and it finally took me to the page. No refund in it yet though. UGH
My California return was accepted (TurboTax) on 1/19/16, but the CA FTB web site says “We do not have a record of your 2015 California Income Tax return in our files.”
Does this sound normal?

Oh I forgot to say through Tax Act! I got it back pretty quickly last year.
Filed on 1/19, accepted on 1/20 and nothing yet, as expected.
Accepted 1/12 for Fed still 1 bar on WMR. State was just accepted today 1/21. Last year I received my State and Fed the same day
If you read that article it says that, “there have been reports of delay FOR YOU STATE REFUND and that there have been NO reports of the IRS having delays with FEDERAL refunds; all federal refunds should be issues within 21 days.”
He’s not lying there are several articles regarding state taxes being delayed. Here is one

Last Year I filed Jan 21… and got the whole ID verification process done in february… all the way until december I was getting no new info on the IRS website about my refund… i fot transcripts and still pending…
Now I cannot check last year’s refund status because it brings me to this year’s. I filed this year and it was accepted…will this affect this year’s refund… should I call the IRS about last year’s?
I got an email from HRB that my refund was accepted last night 1/20. MD state site has nothing yet.
Files with H&R Block online on Jan 19 at 6:30 am…still not accepted ? just got off the phone with them and they said they don’t know what’s going on and they would escalate to Tier 2 and it could take 48 to 72 hours to hear back. This is the 2nd year in a row they have done this. This will be my last year using this bs company.
Ina I filed directly to the State of Ohio for free….and they have new security measures….you can check under ohio.gov your refund status and it will tell you when it was received and if your under manual review.
Filed 01/15 directly with state FTB. Confirmed received, but no other updates since then. Hoping tomorrow.

Of course they don’t have proof; they’re lying. What they state in their ignorant comment is enough to indicate they don’t know very much about how tax season works.
