I was accepted 2/13 through tax slayer… on 2/17 I was able to see account transcripts but they say no return filed, with all 000’s and no cycle code. Only date is the as of date which is 3/9. Still one bar on wmr. Called the 652 extension and the man told me he couldn’t dig deep into it but that he didn’t see anything holding it up and that it was just processing. But of course he didn’t fail to mention that I just needed to wait until my 21 day wait was over to find out any additional information. Anyone else have news to share?
I tried clicking on Kentucky, but that link isn’t correct or not working properly!! Please help!!
itstakingforever no its still in limbo until the refund issued code is on the transcript u will not get your money u have to keep calling till u get someone
lovingmom28 you have to be patient u will update…. it all depends on how backed up they are. 570 would be because of the id verify so u just have to wait
dante3 that fine it wmr doesn’t update right off the bat for checks it could update anytime between the month time frame.. even after u actually get it
orchid don’t believe what they always tell you…. I know someone that had Id verify was told under review and got there refund 2 weeks later… the reps have no clue… give it another week

Anitataco yes usually the review sides with the tax payer unless they lied… so u just have to wait it out till they are done

I filed a tax return last year in august for 2010 hoping maybe there’d be a chance i’d get my American Opportunity Credit. They sent me a letter to confirm my identity in December. I called and was verified. She told me I would receive my refund or a notice within 4-6 weeks. It is now Feb. 23rd and I still haven’t received anything. I looked up my transcripts just to see what was up and I found my Account transcript and it says code 766 $XXXX credited to my account, but nothing after that. Does this mean anything at all? Does it mean I will receive my refund or….. ? I tried calling the IRS and it says they are too busy to take my call. Any help is appreciated
When I called they said they didn’t see anything and it might’ve been from me having to verify my id on the forth of feb an when I did that it kicked back into normal processing an they didn’t see where they were asking for anything im still lost to the 570 account action pending 3/2/2015:(!?!!

I just received a CP53a notice in the mail, ii signed up for direct deposit but it says “your refund check will be sent to you by mail…wait 3 -4 weeks
my WMR is still saying Your tax refund is scheduled to be mailed by February 23, 2015. If you do not receive the refund by March 23, 2015, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then.Received my letter finally. Just says they are reviewing my return and will be completed by APRIL 9TH!!!!
Well I’d verify on 2/13. Code 570 on 2/20 and now I called and was first told I was re sequenced and then that I was under income review. I am so frustrated I already cried

I filed my sons return on 2/3, accepted same day. First status bar up. As of 3 days ago it remained the same and could not see anything on transcripts, even showed return not filed as of 2/20. On 2/21, bars gone and says still processing with code 152. When I attempt to get his transcripts, it says the account cannot be verified. Any ideas?? I just wish my son could get his return, as its been 21 days…and counting and he needs it to get a new car for work. Thanks again for ALL your help!
Called again different person.. Says she doesn’t see anything on my 2014 transcripts.. Says problem on 9th it would take 6-8 weeks to resolve. Then it would be resequenced! After that it could take another 9 weeks to get a refund!

Hi I got a cp53a letter because my refund was sent back by bank and wondering when they send out the letter dose it mean my refund is not under reveiw any more and will I get a refund mailing date

I got one last year. It took me till June to get my return. I got the full amount and they gave no reason for the delay. Just do nothing. I will say everyone that got an Advocate got theirs way before me. I was a 1121 er that slipped through all the cracks. Now I am a 2/10 filer and waiting again. Just don’t do what I did and sit and wait. It was the wrong thing to do. Get an advocate as soon as you can.
I filed on 2/13 and was accepted that same day. Bars and amount disappeared three days later. Checked today and still the same. Here is my situation:

offset from state department of revenue.I got accepted on jan 22. No transcripts available called irs last week and was told system error called again this morning told thr same thing. Its been over 30 days now with no info at all and no progress. I give up!

Oh yeah and filed MFJ. Husband lost bars 1/31 and I lost bars 2/15.

Filed and Accepted 1/27
Tried to access transcripts 2/12- told to call IPSU.
Called IPSU and was told that even if I did have an identity flag on my account they cannot open my account until the 21st day.
Called back on 2/17- was told that it actually is the 22nd day.
Called back on 2/18- was told that they have until the 22nd business day.
Lost my ish. Went into local IRS office on 2/20 at noon and was faced with a sign that said, “Sorry due to a high number of tax payers seeking services we can only assist those who already have a number.” And they weren’t giving out anymore numbers.
Been playing phone tag with local Tax Advocate office and finally got a hold of them today. Given a case and case number. Was warned that usually it’s 75 days from first contact (2/12) and even if they step in it’s HIGHLY UNLIKELY I will have a return within 3 weeks even with them pushing my return through.I am a squid of anger.
Well, I’m a first year Injured Spouse filer and I’m trying to be patient. :) I’ve always efiled and gotten my federal refund within 2-3 weeks – so being over the 21 day mark and not seeing any progress on my refund is killing me. We filed everything 1/28. I’ve heard rumors that people who filed on my date specifically were caught in a glitch – which I’m hoping isn’t true. I married last year and it’s my husband who has a student debt. Last year (we filed separate) both his federal and state were taken for the debt.
I can access both of our transcripts with the 570 code (new to me). Not sure if this means anything, but:
20150505 cycle date with 02-23-2015 – Could this mean they *might* further process our return this week? My code 570 says the same date – TODAY – 2-23-15. I’m being hopeful that it means something.I lost my bars about two weeks ago. It just has plain text saying it’s processing and will update with a refund date when available. No additional information.
I called the 1-800-829-0582 ext. 652 just now – waited maybe 10 minutes until a very friendly lady came on, and unfortunately told me that I had to wait until the 11 week mark before anyone could look into our return. I tried the 1-800-829-1040 four times, I did the “hold 0” after the first two menus with no luck. After that I tied to get through twice by following prompts – only to get thru the last attempt – and then told to call back due to high call volume.
Anyway, sorry for the long explanation. I wish us all the best! I was really looking forward to paying many bills off (and spoiling the kids) in February but the more and more I look online for helps/answers, the more it seems I shouldn’t get my hopes up until April/May at best.
I just ordered my transcripts online and got a cycle date of 20150705 but no code of 846 refund. what does that mean???
How long does it take for Turbo Tax to receive notice that the IRS has approved return and refund and issued a DDD? WMR updated yesterday morning to approved with DDD and Turbo Tax still only shows accepted. Any input/experience is appreciated.
They should have to tell you why its under review. I think mine is to since its been 21 days and no bars,no transcripts. What the hell is there to review that’s so special on my whole $20,0000 I made this year with the same wife and the same 3 kids as before. IRS is a bunch of freakin idiots. They just need to do away with the whole tax system and go to a flat tax.

I filed on the 21st via TaxAct and was accepted right away. Got one bar on WMR which eventually went away. I then received a 4464C letter saying I was under review. Since I’m currently unemployed with no UI benefits, I was counting on my refund to keep me from being homeless, so I’ve been doing as much research as possible.
Checked transcripts online, everything says “no return filed and all 0.00. I did, however, get my small state refund this week. Yay!
I called the regular IRS number today and was told that my status changed on 2/17 and that it would now be 6-8 weeks from that date. They couldn’t tell me what the status change was. I reached out to the AZ number for a Taxpayer Advocate in hopes of speeding up the process, she told me she couldn’t helo me unless I was ALREADY EVICTED! Ummm, what? She also kept telling me I couldn’t call any old IRS number, I had to call the one on the letter, which I just today noticed.
So I called that number and the guy told me they needed additional information and then gave me the number and website for IDVerify. I tried online, entered the most basic info on the front page, and was told they couldn’t verify me, then referred back to the generic IRS number.
So now as I type this, I’m on hold with the IDVerify phone number, but I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes already. I have no idea what comes next. if I get verified, whatever that means, whats my timeline now? If they can’t verify me, what in the world does THAT mean? And should I be calling the national Taxpayer Advocate number instead of the local? I’m not sure what difference it makes, as she appears to be the only one in the state.
If I don’t have this money in hand in the next 2-3 weeks, I’m completely out of money and my family is in a lot of trouble. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi there, I also got one of the 4464c letters today but my zeroed out transcripts don’t say anything at all about a notice sent. It says I don’t need to do anything unless they ask me to do something. Which sounds silly in my opinion. “You don’t need to do anything unless you do.”
I’m curious what sort of resolution you’ve had, if any, on this. All my info is the same as last year, I don’t get it other than my refund was just a little larger this year. Just over 6k. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
I just got a letter today that told me the same thing. My 2014 transcripts are still zeros, it doesn’t even show they sent a letter.
On mine they’re reviewing either my eitc, wages reported, or business income. I don’t have a business though so it’s not that. It said they don’t need more info, but they’ll let me know if they do need more info. Oh and give them 60 days. I knew something was up when I never had an update but everyone else on my file date already has theirs pretty much.
Here’s to hoping it works out quickly and easily.
My return is in the same situation. I had to call a tax advocate and was told she will do her best that the irs has a glitch in their system and not enough people. so without her help I would be looking at 6 to 8 weeks otherwise at least two weeks…… I filed 1/29 and 1 bar…

I asked the other day about zeroed out 2014 transcripts after filing 2/6 and not hearing anything since.
They are still all zeros, still have the AS date of March 02 except I got a letter today. It said You’re under review but we don’t need anything from you……….unless we do. Blah blah give us 60 days. Oh and it was checking the eitc, or income or business income. My dependent is my blood child, I’m married to his father, so no one is double claiming him or any issue like that. I don’t have a business.. I don’t know.
Do these ever have a happy ending? I don’t care so much about the 60 days, I know they over estimate so you’re happy when it takes less time. I’m curious if you’ve ever seen this actually resolve itself without having to do anything?

2-5-15 filed and accepted same day and still have just one bar wait till 21 day but look I called the 19th was told picked for. Review. So three to four weeks we’ll I called today to identify just to identify and got identified the told wait six to eight weeks
Now in not checking anything online because I believe it delays the process I will only call

I really, truly hope you just get your DDD! My transcripts have never updated beyond zeros, not even something to say they sent a notice or anything! No 570 or any of those.
I completely understand relying on this money. They say not to, but how can we not? And why shouldn’t we? It’s ours! They get an interest free loan from us all year and then it’s like pulling teeth to get repaid! I feel like I’m loaning money to a ghetto family member!
I have a tooth I’m literally dying to get pulled and I always use my refund to take our 6 parrots to their avian vet. Usually it’s all well checks but this year my African Grey is having issues with a never ending runny nose and I need to get her in ASAP! I’ve done all I can for her at home since we took her a couple months ago. None of the Vet’s irrigation or steaming/sauna treatments that I do every single day for her at home have worked so we have to go in more aggressive now. That means more money. Could be A LOT more. I’m so worried.
Anyways…I will hope and wish for you to get yours with no letters or troubles!

I filed 1-20 accepted same day received a letter on 1-29 stating my return is under review to verify my income. On my transcripts I do have the 570 freeze code but the processing date says 2-23-15 so does that mean they should be finishing my return today or should I just not expect anything for the full 60 days that the letter stated?I had a similar issue, and I contacted the Taxpayer Advocate Services, and was advised that I paper check was mailed on the 02/18/2015, and today still no check. It also states in the system that a 02/23/2015 processing date , so I am totally confused. Another source states that the check will be mailed out on 02/27/15. I filed electronically on 02/02/15, accepted the same day, had orange bars, they disappeared, then on 02/18/2015, transcript shows 840 refund issued, but WMR is still showing return being processed. Can anyone advise
I filed with TT also on 2/2. I’ve been somewhat patiently waiting on my return as well. When I tried to access my transcript on 2/10 I was given the message it was unavailable & to call the IPSU (ID Theft). I’ve called them 3x & been told all 3x that my transcript is not ready yet & that I have no red flags for ID Theft. They haven’t been able to give me a reason for the message from their website. The last man I talked to told me I had to wait my full 21 days before they could really tell me anything. I’m seeing a lot of people having issues from filing with TT. What’s the deal with this?

Howdy all. I filed and was accpted on 1/21. Just got off phone with IRS. My return was not actually processed til 2/3. They stated I had a fraud flag on my account which was not true. After answering many questions…verifying past returns..and rep researching…stated it will be sent to another department for processing AGAIN. It is now released but who would have thought all this BS. Has to be a system glitch…I have read many others in same situation. So I would suggest that if you have not yet received return to call them. Number I used was 8008290582…ext 652. She could not truly explain to me why I was flagged..as stated had to be the new system being faulty. Oh well…atleast I can now expect it within 21 days again…lol. Hope this helps all :)

Chris- Does it show on your transcript that it was received(code 971 i think)? Mine has the 2-16 as well and it happened on the 3rd.
I am about to lose it!! I have waited somewhat patiently for DAY 21. I filed with TT and was accepted on 2/2. Was at 1 bar until this past Saturday when I lost the bars. No transcripts available.
I just called and after about 15 minutes, the lady came back and told me that there was a system error and that was all the info she could give me. She said she would make a referral to another department and they will get back to me within 30 days.
I am so unbelievably heated right now. WHY?? What system error???
ok I found it! For anyone else wondering…you just go to the IRS webpage and search transcript and follow the link. It is not the same as the “where’s my Refund” link!! It will take you through a process of verifying your identity and setting up a login. You can also continue through as a guest, but having a login will save you time when you look again…and we will all most likely be looking several times before we see what we want to see lol!
So mine only had the offset info, and it showed it as happening on the 16th of Feb. even though we go info that it happened on the 5th. No update yet on the IS form being received. I brought mine into my local office, so I know it was received….just hoping for an update soon!
Me, too. WMR bars returned yesterday morning with a DDD of the 26th. However, TurboTax still is showing only accepted and I’ve gotten no notice from SBBT that they have received notice that that my refund is coming in the next few days (I usually get that email). Cause for concern? Why hasn’t TT been notified that our return is approved?
I was accepted 2/2.. Bars disappeared around 2/5. I contacted advocate about id problems.. Thursday I could order transcripts by mail.
Called Irs today is 21 days! Irs says they couldn’t release my info to me. Since I went through a advocate if have to get all info through them. Lady said even if I could see your DDD, I legally can’t give it to you!

I called them again today. I filed and was accepted on 1/21/14 and no bars since about 1 week after. ID theft message on transcripts.
The person on the phone apparently verified me by asking some questions and then put me on hold to leave a message for someone in Kansas City.
She came back and said I let them know and in will take them 6-8 weeks from today to get you a refund. /le sigh
I was told 6-8 weeks every single time I’ve called. I asked her what would have happened to my refund if I never called you ? I’ve gotten no letter or phone call..nothing to let me know there was a problem aside from your “Where’s My Refund” not telling me anything for weeks.

Ok this is my first time having to file the injured spouse. Where can you check your transcripts as everyone is talking about? Is it the same “where’s my refund” link as you check your regular return? Please help….I need an update to save my sanity!!
