Update:
As of this morning MyFTB said no return filed (but it said “rcvd” yesterday), but CA WMR showed authorized on 02.02.25.
Just checked MyFTB and now return is “Processed” and authorized as of 02.02.26.
Pick a time, you’ll get a different response, I guess, lol.
Deposit usually comes 3 business days later for me.
Have a great day y’all!Filed Fed & CA on 01.22.26.
Both accepted on 01.23.36.
Fed flowed like a charm; received deposit on 01.31.26.
CA has been less charming. MyFTB & CA WMR showed nothing. Called CA on 01.30.26., and told “super busy”.
02.01.26., for giggles I checked. MyFTB shows 2025 rcvd (no $ values yet), CA WMR says received 01.22.26.
Will update as things change.
I hope this helps someone with their timeline. 🙂Filed 02.03.21., via TurboTax
Fed Accepted 02.12.21., State sat in limbo.
CA Rejected & Corrected 02.18.21.
Accepted 02.19.21.
Issued 02.25.21.
Based on the past and others, in about 4 business days I should have DD on/about 03.03. or 03.04., latest.
Good luck everyone!*Just* received the email from TT that CA rejected my return due to a TT software error. I’m going to try for a refund and file direct with CA FTB.
Hope this helps someone!
Same here CLA13. Called FTB, they said TT. Called TT & held for over 30min to get connected with someone who didn’t respond to my “Hello? Hello?” and ultimately disconnected me and closed the ticket “solved”. Called back and was offered via robo-operator the $60 upgrade to speak with someone which I declined.
Couldn’t get a live person so trying again tomorrow & taking dude’s advice for next year and filing direct with CA.
@CLA13, thanks for taking one for the team! Update us maybe? I’m going to reach out to CA FTB. If they say/do anything worthwhile, I’ll update. Otherwise, I won’t disappoint you guys with nothingness.
Me four. Filed 02.03. Fed & State via TT, Fed accepted 02.12. and already have a DDD of 02.22. CA still pending. FTB site shows nothing received either.
1040p (PST) DD just hit my account.
Filed, accepted, & issued on 01.31. 🤑
See you next year!Filed, accepted, issued – 01.31.
Was hoping for a DD today, but maybe tomorrow!
Will update when it happens.@RefundWanted, are you calling 877-423-6711 or another number?
@RefundWanted – good deal! I think I’m going to have to call also.
Accepted on the 28th of Jan, green and approved on the 7th of Feb, still green. It’s a small amount, so I wasn’t *stressing*, but considering I’ve received Federal and CA taxes, now GA is hanging out there for 2018.
Issue date: 02.07.
Received: 02.12. around 11p
See you guys next year!@Jocelin – It looks like deposits are taking place about 4 days after FTB shows “approved”. I was approved on the 7th and also bank with Chase, so I’ll update tomorrow hopefully with good news.
Same here with credit in green! Now to file CA who finally released forms today. Joy.
Anyone update?
Woke up to no change to transcripts here – still showing “No Record of Return Filed”.CTC only, no EITC/ACTC
Filed/Accepted 01.28.
SSA shows 2018 wages@Diana, thank you for taking one for the team. I’m pursing my lips SO HARD at “we’re behind” because a) I knew it with the damn govt shutdown and b) I knew it because GA is always lagging on returns with a full staff.
Hope your call today delivers good results for you!
Filed/Accepted on Jan 28th. Still nothing. I just want my little piece of change.
Same. Stuck on one bar, filed and accepted on 01.28. CTC only, no wages and no account transcript available. Normally a daily so this “delay” is odd and admittedly “1st world problem”.
Granted, I moved from GA to CA, however the 28th seems to be more of the issue.Morning, I feel like I’ve been resequenced on Fed (filed/accepted 01.28.19.) – still processing with transcripts showing no acknowledgement of return filed, and kicked to the curb on GA (filed/accepted 01.28.19.) – nothing showing on GA whatsoever.
Only CTC, so don’t have to deal with PATH (I feel for those that do!).
Here’s to some progress this week!GA deposited this morning!
The only pattern I see is that when you get the text or GTC alert that your refund has deposited, in my case I was told it went in on the 13th, that a few days later the deposit actually comes through. I was given a DDD of today and it happened. Good luck everyone!WMR on the GTC now shows:
Your refund is scheduled to be transmitted, or was transmitted, to your designated bank account on 2/15/2018. Please allow 10 business days from that date and verify your designated account information to confirm receipt.
Small steps guys, but it looks like GA is making progress. Good night all!Ha! So straight from the GA DOR just received a text (I signed up for alerts) that states that my refund is scheduled to be transmitted, or was transmitted to my acct on 02.13.18. Please allow 10 business days…
Since that was TODAY and I can assure you, I didn’t get it. Oh Georgia…Checking in with the same as today’s majority.
Filed 01.26.18.
Accepted 01.29.18.
In “Error-Timely” limbo until 02.09.18., when my refund amount turned green
Lost green refund & received approval letter 02.13.18.
Waiting for that magical deposit notification alert any day now! :)Agreed. Posting an alert on the GTC would be rather easy, but unfortunately they don’t want to admit fault.
In the meantime, I’m still showing Error-Filed, no red, green, yellow, nor letters after showing accepted on 01.29. Gotta love it. :| Looks like it will be my end of February bonus check and I should just be quiet and wait.
@turtlebug1971, same. I hold and after 15-20 minutes, I bail. I’m grateful for those here posting their call notes and if anything changes with anyone, I’ll call. I’m trying to be patient, but it’s difficult.
Over the last few years, I’ve received my refund via direct deposit on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. :/
I feel like the rest of us are watching the scientists submit themselves as “human trials” and take their own experimental vaccine. :) I hope it works with nothing negative in return! *fingers crossed*
And dww!
(Can we just get thumbs up icons on comments? Ha!)Thanks Nina & TurtleBug! Appreciate your help and comments!
@nina, thank you for taking one for the team! I was sitting on hold meanwhile you posted about checking and then your response, lol.
Yeah, the W2 info likely has them in a tizzy as they cannot release the goods without confirming first and just looking at these refund discrepancies, a premature move wouldn’t be good.
Man, I’m trying to prep my house to sell it and I was planning on this money for those incidental repairs. Ugh.
@sandwds, found that statement on their site.
https://dor.georgia.gov/update-w2-and-1099-file-acknowledgements
What’s missing from their statement is where and how those of the pre Feb 1st filers are to resubmit. Especially if we used a service like TurboTax. Sigh. Why do I feel like this is going to take way too much time and effort in taxpayers when this was a state issue?
Glad to see some DDD updates! I woke up to my 02.05. DD already in the bank, so going out for breakfast later? Don’t mind if I do!
Stay up folks! That resequence is a mindf**k (went through it before), but that money is coming to you.
@joshua becker, that could be it. In my experience on this site, weeklies update only on Friday to Saturday. How or why there is this designation, I don’t know as it doesn’t seem to make sense years after they went from the old processing system.
I’m crossing my fingers for updates. I know how nerve wracking it is and how just a 2nd bar and an ESD will let you sleep a little easier.
Checking in to see if any more of my 01.26.er’s got a DDD. If not today, the Saturday morning update should give you guys some answers!
I have CTC, which doesn’t fall under the PATH delay like EITC & ACTC. If’n you have questions on your transcript codes, I can try to help. After the 2012 filing fiasco, fears of delay turned me into an IRS supersnoop. Just understand I’m working and may take a minute to respond.
Something positive. If you can see the codes, dates, etc on your account transcript, i would put more faith in that than good ole WMR. This site has hella info on how to read the codes and dates and then again, there’s Google. Put IRS in the search and you could land on an official IRS.gov page.
2017, being in the test batch got me resequenced a week. I was a little ____ others accepted after me got a DDD, but realized I took my chances.
2018, test batch again & there was still a glitch with WMR not showing the info I saw on my ‘scripts, but I hoped to not be resequenced. This refund game is ridiculous. 🤷🏽♀️ It’s hard being patient, but I have no other option, y’know?
2 bars & a DDD of 02.05.18. as of WMR this morning. 🎉
Present! Filed & accepted on the 26th and was able to confirm an 846 refund due on my acct transcript this morning, but still holding with one bar on WMR. Transcript says I should receive it on the 5th, but who knows? Just glad to be done and waiting (no ACTC, nor EIC).
@Carrie101 I know! This week has had a lot of updates, so I’m thinking that 1st week of filing had a lot of data collecting, fraud monitoring, and making sure their PATH filters actually worked. Some of us were delayed, but I feel like it’s updating more regularly now. 😊
3a deposit! 2 bars on WMR will likely update to 3 on Saturday.
Good luck on updates today & tomorrow!
@Andrea I think if you check today it’ll show a change on WMR. Checked this morning after the update and sure enough, I have a DDD of Feb 10th. It’s coming guys!
Jan 26’ers! *Finally* able to see my return transcript with the most beautiful 846 code next to a blessed negative number and a cycle date of 20170602. WMR is still showing 1 bar which I expect to update overnight and reflect a DDD of 02.10.17. Praise the Lordt!
Edit: I’m CTC, not EITC, nor ACTC so I wouldn’t fall under the 02.15.17., PATH delay.
