The letter is actually very vague. Basically says ive been picked for a thorough review and states if I haven’t received my refund or if I haven’t been contacted by the IRS in 60 days, I then may call them. Also states that I personally am not required to do anything at this time.
This year has been a headache. First time I’ve ever received a letter or had my refund delayed in anyway. Not sure why me lol. I file single, only one job all year, no deductions, nothing at all but my w2 info. Easy as can be.

I did my return at the first week of Feb, and still get a error of ID when trying to get my transcript. Call and told that nothing was being flagged and i should wait. I cant even access any prior years on the site. WMR still showing being process.. file jointly and wife SSN produces errors, no such file. File with TT… everything was approved with in a hour on the 5th.. So what gives.. do i need to keep calling daily to see WTF is up?

.I am still waiting on some sort of answer…WMR hasn’t had bars up for the last week and no one will tell me anything until my 21 days are up which will be Wednesday.
I know I’ve heard from some people that those who filed on 1/28 got caught up in some glitch…

I filed & was accepted on 1/28 — WMR bars stayed on ‘Accepted’ w/ Tax Topic 152 without any movement or updates until last night. I woke this morning to find my WMR bars gone w/ no Tax Topic, all it said was it was being processed & a refund date would be provided when available. I did call 2/13 & order my transcript via mail b/c I cannot view electronic due to ID theft protection I have on my SS#. I also called & checked the ‘offset’ hotline to be sure. Nothing happening at this time but will update accordingly. I hope we have some good news after the holiday.

I filled and was accepted 1/28. I got the 4464c letter and they date on it said 2/6/15.
When you said you hope what you read it true. What exactly were you referring to. Hoping this is just a generic letter sent out.
shafegah ok then u need to call the irs and find out what the problem is and tell them you spoke to the id verify department like they told you 2 and your not in that department and you want an exact answer on what is going on.
brendaj u either are in id verify or under review for something call the irs and see why
michelle williams u need to call the irs and see if they see your return in processing then that means its a wmr glitch if they dont see it contact the place u filed from or with cause some there you return is stuck
I received my refund yesterday via direct deposit by surprise. Felt like a long time, very relieved.
I have the same 3/2 dates on my transcript in that category. However, on 2/12 WMR stated that my check would be mailed by 2/13. I also got a paper notice from the IRS that it would be mailed by 2/13. But when I saw that 3/2 date I started to freak out…
Then when i went back into WMR it states “we have received your return and it is being processed….” the status bars which were there just 2 days ago are gone….SO I was officially freaking out until I read some other posts on here with people going through the same thing with the status bar disappearing.
User who had a send by date of 2/11 DID receive their checks by 2/13 at least from the few I’ve read on here.I almost wish I did not look up the transcripts. They are freaking me out since I don’t understand how to read them correctly…..
It is irrelevant, the only important ones are the top two.

I checked the GA WMR today and got this message — “Your return has been received, and it is currently being processed. Please contact the Georgia Department of Revenue at 1- 877-GADOR11 (1-877-423-6711) option 3 to speak with a Representative.”
Is it because my husband had several W-2’s this year? Or does it have to do with my 1099? I have no idea what this could be about and want to have an idea before I call.
I haven’t used the card in six months but I called them about four or five times this month to make sure the account is still active and they said yes. I even deposited some money yesterday to find out that was rejected too!
Can anyone please tell me what this means? My transcript is blank still, but I have an AS OF date of 2/23/15…..I don’t understand this. Any help would be awesome!

Hi again Bart..I called IDVerify like you said. They said they had nothing in the system even showing that my refund was cancelled and that I didnt need to verify my identification after the lady told me my account was on a 60 day review due to possible identity theft. WMR gave me a 1121 code and I still have the 841 refund cancelled code. Helpp..thanks
Help Please? Had a DDD for 2/11. No funds were received and woke up yesterday to a 1121 message on WMR and a 841 refund canceled on my transcript.
@Memphismom me and my wife are in the EXACT same boat. only difference is the accepted date,we were accepted on the 3rd,but the guy on the ipsu line said we were accepted on the 9th so it sounds like we got re-seqeunced. so just keep strong.
Hello Bart, I filed my tax return Feb 3, 2015, and it was accepted in minutes, however, wmr has been showing
a message, you may not have entered your information correctly please verify your personal tax data and try again.. after I provide the correct information.. the message pops up… cannot provide any information about your refund you must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement email.” Its been 12 days and the wmr website and the 1800 829 1954 is saying the same thing no change and i have never seen anything elso no bars oer other tax topic message except for 152. do I need to submit my refund over…Help! message… ” yoNormally I would have good things to say about netspend because I’ve used them for my refund for three years now. Even this year, it came in six days early((DDD was for 2/19) but it was rejected a whole six hours after they closed my account!! Not only is this a big inconvenience, I have to wait for a paper check.
Have you been getting your deposits? Heard a lot people have been getting them rejected for no reason. Deposit stories please.
Only update I got last night was losing bars on WMR…still have 152 and can see my refund amount…hoping what I’ve been reading is true that a DDD will come very shortly.
Anyone else update from no bars to a take action bar, but all its says is theres a delay in processing your refund and nothing else, no letters either
I got the same but Republic Bank for Taxact has not updated. I expected them to do so Tuesday morning.
Call the offset hotline it will tell you how much and where it’s coming from. I had an offset of 780 dollars this year. If it exceeded the amount of your refund that’s why its an 826
DDD 2/18 also :) Transcript cycle code of 20150604, which is 2/17. Was hoping it might come early too. Nothing so far.
I just finally got an update on my tax refund on the transcript. It says that a majority is being transferred out with a 826 code. I also didn’t receive my state refund, and that just says for a debt, but not sure what yet. The only debt I can possibly think of that they would have taken that much money for is for money that was owed back in taxes when I was married still. He had a car repossessed, and then made a deal with them to only have to pay a portion of it back. The money he didn’t have to pay back was counted as income, and they said we owed almost 4,000 in taxes. When we got divorced last year, a part of the agreement was that he would pay that amount. He had called and told them that it was his debt to pay, and had made arrangements to pay on it monthly. Is there anything that I can do to get that amount back after they have taken it?

2/12: I had two bars on WMR and a notice that the refund would be sent by 2/13.
2/13: no change
2/14: WMR show NO BARS at all and only a note that says your refund has been accepted and no info available at this time….
2/15: I’m freaking out. I had to get a paper check so if it was actually sent on the 13th I am hoping to get it by Wednesday since Monday is a holiday=no mail.Has anyone else seen their status bar either disappear or stay at 2 bars even though their funds were sent? At least knowing that I’m not the only one will help me get through the waiting game!
Onlove12 there are many types of reviews or under reviews I should say. They fact you ha the id verify last year alone could be causing your delay. I would call them to see. Now as for ur other questions if you amount is there they are (as of now) not questioning your refund amount. The fact you have no tax topic tells me your return stopped processing or a wmr glitch most likely the return stopped processing.. I really suggest you call and make sure you don’t have to verify your identity again this year
Anyone accepted 2/11 please come in and commiserate in the spirit of this tax season! Let’s keep each other updated..so far I’m just excepted..waiting for an update on WMR or any transcripts.

What does this really mean? It happened to me last year and I was under review.
I also had identity issues last year ,yet they were resolved. I eventually got my return.
This year, I filed and was accepted on 1/28. One bar until this past Friday morning (2/13) when I woke up to no bars with refund amount still on left but no topic 152.
I have watched you tube videos which seemed legit that said it meant definite review. Is this true? If not then what are some of the reasons we are in this position?
Also, is there any reason for those that have refund amount still visable and those that don’t? Topic 152 visable and those its not?
Please help us who are in this predicament. We are all needing honest facts and clarification. I’m hoping what I have viewed on YouTube is just a bunch of hype. Any updates on your end? I am going out of my mind. Staying up late researching tax subjects over this. ALL of my transcripts have been available for about a week now. Everything is there, filled out. Nothing on WMR, just standard statement that it’s being processed. No bars, getting jealous of the people that had code 152 on theirs, at least then it seemed like things moved. I have a sequence code of 20150505 which meant that my DD was this past 11th but alas, no DD. Figures. I don’t even have a code 570 on my transcript which would at least explain the hold up. I seem to be stuck right before the touted code 846 and I filed on Jan. 31st. My husband keeps looking at me like wth? because he’s seeing all of his co-workers get theirs and they filed after us.
I’m also wondering wmr says the 19th and transcript says 0605. But the message on wmr says it will be sent to your bank by the 19th so does that mean it could be earlier?
nikki i just saw the 424 code u listed you are under review as of right now they suspect something on your return is a lie and will want verification.. you are being audit for 2014 tax return
I have a 846, 20150605 cycle code, and a DDD for 2/19. Cycle code tells me 2/18, and my bank is really good about giving things a day early. I checked SBBT and the website says it has not yet received my funds.
When do they update?
nikki its exactly as its shows sorry. your refund was frozen by the irs and your getting a letter because they either put you under review for what ur claiming or you have a id verify issue. i do suggest you call and see what letter your getting.. you might have to call 6 times to get a real answer..
memphismom the lost in bars on your husbands is very normal for the return going to the errors resolution department because they have to fix the return. most of the time the primary SS will have the correct information.. what i am saying is your not done processing they had to fix something without needing you and they your return will finish processing,
anything in errors res dept delays a return about a week.. so if it changed on 2/7 you should see and update this week with posted transcriptsGm…Quick question? I was able to view my transcripts and it has the following codes: can you tell me exactly what it means?

cycle #20150605 date :3/2/15I received a 12c letter on 2/5. I previously had 1 bar and tax topic 152. I filed on 1/21 and kept calling to see what was wrong and they kept telling me nothing. I faxed all the information over on Sunday 2/8. I was worried about them not receiving. I finally spoke to a helpful person who was willing to go the extra mile. She told me the 12c letter was closed on 2/9 which mean they received the information. She also told me I was on day 16, because my return was accepted on 1/29 but they were on 1/21. I didn’t dig deep into that because I wanted to know whats next. She told me I should have my refund within 30 days of my day of acceptance. She told me to keep paying attention to wmr. She didn’t even say it will take 6-8 weeks. She told me they are reviewing and processing. I am hoping and praying she was correct. I hope I will get an update tonight.

Me and my husband filed jointly (as we have for the past 9 years) on Jan 30 and were accepted shortly after at 5:30 a.m. On Feb 7 my husband lost his bars as well as topic 152 (refund amount is still there). However under my social I still have 1 bar, topic 152, refund amount, and 21 day generic message. (BTW if you have not guessed, my husband is listed first on the return).
When I log in to view transcripts everything has N/A except wage but I don’t expect that to be updated under mine since I’m a SAHM. My husband is unable to view the transcripts under his info because of the ISPU message.
Just hoping to get your insight on what you think could be the hold up. We have NEVER had to wait this long for our refund. We are expecting a new baby next month, and everything (baby stuff) was depending on this refund. I just feel so depressed. Please give me some insight as no one will from IRS will tell us anything as it has not been 21 days yet.
