      I was told by a tax advocate that I entered in something wrong on my w2 on turbo tax… As of right now I still have no error codes and tax topic is still 152 but I have no bars.. The advocate told me I’d have to fix it on turbo tax first. My question is how long does it really take for the amended return process. Is it really between 9-12 weeks ? Can you overnight your return to them?

          I filed mine and my fiance and mailed at the same time. 1040X sent 02/22/16 WMAR shows received on 02/26/2016 for both. 03/25/16 adjustment stage for my fiance none adjustment for mine. Check received 03/26/16 for my fiance. In this case, both have been filed and received by IRS with the same date. No clue of whatsoever how IRS process amended return.

            I filed an amended return for 2014 I sent it on Jan 27,the received it January 29 and adjusted February 12. I got my check this week. I mailed a amendment for my 2015 taxes on February 12 and it’s not showing in the system yet.
