    I filed on 1/14
On 1/20 I received a letter saying they adjusted my 2017 taxes due to a large W2-G that was not included
    This saying I owe $4700
I filed an amendment right away that would bring it back to zero
the irs received the amendment on 1/23
On 2/21 my 2019 transcript updated To this years return of $3550 On 3/9 ( I don’t know where that date comes from) was used to offset prior irs debt, and now my irs account says I owe like $1150 still as the irs has not fully proscessed the amendment yet.
How long does IRS REALLY TAKE TO PROCESS amendment.?
Will I receive a paper check , or will they credit the amount they took from this years refund back and direct deposit as normal.

I am in the same situation except my missing income was a 1099B an investment. I corrected mailed the amendment and they took my taxes this year and now I have NO CLUE when I will receive the corrected amount. They say it will be up to 16 weeks to complete an amended return. I am so over it all.
