Usually the “test batches” get their monies first but in this case it seems like we are getting forgotten about. I’ve called the offset line.. no offsets… still no transcripts.. nothing! I did however get my state on Friday, which typically I get that after my fed. So i really am confused this year.

I’ve been looking for hope for us… Some sites say that the irs counts 21 days from the time you were accepted not from the 19th.. so I’m figuring we have to at least have our money by the 3rd… also I’ve look at the cycle chart and from what I’m understanding with our acceptance that we were in cycle 2 or 3 and if I’m reading correctly they are considering it a dead cycle and will be out in with cycle 4 which is this week, so hopefully we will see something today or tomorrow, so if anyone has any movement could you please keep us posted… please and thank you

They told me the same thing as Crystal. I filed early and was accepted 1/11/16. Now I am in a holding pattern and I still have 1 bar. They said they wont even look into it for another 21 days (from yesterday) Kinda sucks. I was accepted last year on the 14th and got my DD 2 weeks later even with some issues.

Don,t worry, same Exact thing with me yesterday. But today It accepted my same information that it would not accept yesterday. It will be tomorrow when you can enter that info again. Nothing to worry about. Trust me. Happened to me yesterday, but this morning it took my info.

Me like everyone else woke up hopeful this morning. I was accepted early on the 11th and was able to order my account transcript yesterday but of course no DDD today? Is there any hope of any update for friday? Or do we have to ?wait till sunday

I was reading there are mass updates sunday and wednesday. As I am looking through the forums today, only a few got approved.

yesterday i was able to put in my information and order my transcript for both account and return, however they were not ready to be mailed to me. This morning I tried to order my transcripts and it says my information does not match their records. I am putting in the same information as yesterday. Would anyone have any idea why this would happen, or what it could mean?

I filed the 12th and accepted the 14th and I called yesterday and was told the same thing that it goes from the 19th and that was all they could tell me. That they seen it was processing and that there was no problems. But there was no ddd so I think because I filed before the 19th we won’t get nothing to next Friday

Crystal that doesn’t even make sense. What about the people who got accepted 1/11 or 1/12 who say they already got a dd? There were several on here yesterday. I filed 1/14 which is later than those people. I’m sure that’s what she told you but you never know if those people are feeding you a line of bs because they want to get you off the phone or if they are really telling the truth.

My NYS was accepted on the 20th and earlier this week I checked and it was under review. As of today…same message. Between that and my Federal still being one bar (accepted 14th) I’m starting to get nervous!

Bethanne, I don’t think the address change will affect you. I’ve moved in the past and it didn’t delay my return. As far as the transcripts go, I still can’t get mine either and I was approved 1/14. Apparently the IRS doesn’t go in order of when they were accepted. I’ve seen people as early as 1/11 getting their dd and some as late as 1/23 so it’s pretty random. Hopefully we get ours next week.

?? Okay so I called the lady was very rude and proceeded to tell me we filed to early. She said even though we were “accepted” before the 19th those dates DO NOT MATTER. We we’re basically accepted on the 19th, but their is this hold pattern appearently we are waiting to be dropped in the que to be processed. So.. Those of us with no DDD yet we have to wait an extra week. For “filing too early”.

This lady seriously boiled my blood all she had to do was answer the questions. I was not being rude and just asked for information.

BTW the WMR tool totally misleading!! Its not 21 days feom acceptance its 21 days from when they deem fit.

Good morning all!

I have been reading old forums on TT this morning and found one that gave me some hope.

It seems that last year there was an individual who got no update on WMR and was not able to order transcripts who finally called the IRS to be told that her refund had been already been sent to her bank the prior day.

It stands to reason that maybe if WMR is not updating appropriately or on time, the transcript tool may not either. I don’t know if this is actually the case, but seeing that someone actually got their refund without being able to order transcripts or updating on the WMR gives me hope.

I filed through TT and was accepted on 01/14.

Last year I filed and was accepted on 01/20 and received DD on 01/30.

The year prior to that I was accepted on 01/29 and received DD on 02/06.

I am going to try to call the IRS later today and see if I can get any information as I have always gotten my refund in between 8 and 10 days.

For all who have finally had movement, Congrats!

Also, as far as the TT email, I always got mine a week or so AFTER I received my refund.

@Jamie I think NYS has some that to anyone who was accepted last week. It might be an automatic system thing. I’ve never had my NY tax process before federal. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m a little annoyed about my federal. Accepted the 19th and still no update. My NYS fit accepted on the 21st and went to the further review message this morning as well.

I filed on 1/18/16 – received on 1/19/16. Got my DD date yesterday morning for this Friday and my return is well over $5k so I don’t think that the amount one is getting matters at all.

I filed with Turbo Tax and I did do all of their “safety” features which included the drivers license info as well as a special pin, not sure if that makes a different to the IRS or not.

Now to see if my bank actually really releases it tomorrow as they are such a stickler about only releasing money on the date it is listed to release. Credit Union for my state. :/

This makes no sense. So what in the hell was the purpose of filing early? Why does a person with a 1/23 date already have a DDD but a person who was accepted 1/12 is still waiting? I don’t like this at all. This isn’t a hand out, people work hard for their money and the IRS wants to take their sweet time repaying. I sure didn’t see any of this confusion when they started taking the money away from me, that was a smooth transition. I’m just gonna sit back and take it when they give it to me, but boy is this a lesson learned.

I mean, I filed early (the 12th) and got tomorrow 01/29 as my DDD. There are more factors than just when you file that go in to how long the process is going to take.

Ok so at some point last night I thought about calling the IRS and asking General questions so they don’t give me that 21 day bullshit:

1. Why is it taking so long for people who filed early to see any results?

2. Were early filers returns put on some type of hold?

3. 21 days starts from the day that my return was accepted.. (For me the 13th)

4. Direct deposits are only done Tuesdays and Fridays?? ( new to me )

…. Wish me luck! If not I will be calling them again Wednesday exactly 21 days from my return being accepted ( not the 19th ) I probably won’t be a happy camper, but I think we should know what the heck is going on with our money?

Whatever comes in front of them is the one they will work on. They are hell bent on sticking to the 21 day rule. They also update every night. Most likely the 19th accepted ppl will get there refunds on the 5th as per their schedule. Last year I got my refund and it stayed on approved for 1 week before changing to sent.

To everyone this applies to. I don’t know if this is true or false maybe just a rumor. Maybe some of you can confirm?? I just heard that the irs will not be approving any more refunds for direct deposit this week. But if your getting a paper check there is still a possibility. So from what I understood irs is only processing and approving 1 day a week. I’m not gonna say this is true but just wanted to throw that out there just in case some of you were wondering why you don’t see movement. Looks like most people will be right at 2q days for approval from irs

I was accepted on 19th and this morning the war was down at 3:30am saying it was unavailable. I tried back at 4:30am and it was still on 1 bar I guessing that means no update even for 6:00am this is really frustrating!
