It means that they haven’t started processing your return yet. They’ve received it though. As soon as you are able to see actual data on your refund and account returns, that means your return is being processed. Once you can see data on your Wages and Income transcript, that means you have finished processing and SHOULD have a DDD at least.
HTH
Well checked my transcripts and the only thing that’s changed is that I’m seeing a “request/response date” of 2/18/2020.
Like most everyone else here, WMR has no bars no code 152, same cycle/processing date and in years past I have received a DDD within a few days of the processing date.
Our president surely is a peacock if nothing else lol. So, he did take all day Monday to be celebrated. So that’s probably part of the delay this year. I’m praying for this week.
Well WMR updated from PATH to processing. Currently 20200505 and 2/17/2020. Can see all transcripts but wage & income transcript says “no record of tax return filed” or something like that. Praying that we’ll get a DDD for this Thursday.
@Travanti so if we call that number and tell them that wmr now shows no bars they’ll help us instead of the generic “wait 21 days then call back” Answer? Does all the bars missing signify that there’s some sort of problem with your return? I don’t have the 570 code or any other code at this point. My return was filed and accepted on 1/23. My confirmation number has the 201502 cycle code in it but I’m not sure I understand what that means exactly.
Omg I hate waiting for income tax!!! I not only haven’t gotten a DDD or any type of update but now wmr isn’t showing any bars and no more TT152. Just a message that my return is still processing and a date will be provided once they’ve finished processing it. I mean how much trouble would it be to have a more specific note as to what’s going on behind the scenes?
February 5, 2015 at 12:32 pm in reply to: People who filed when I did and after are getting their refunds, why aren't I? #4102472I’m so aggravated!!! It seems like the last 3 years no matter when I file my return I get stuck in a group of people that have to wait the full 21 days or longer. 2 yrs ago I did contact a tax advocate and she did help. Guess I’m going to have to do it again this year. If I COULD wait I wouldn’t mind it so much but, I have an 8 yr old with Autism and Bipolar disorder, a 6 yr old with ADHD and anxiety and I’m physically disabled. So I depend on income tax to help pay for all of our various medical necessities. Also, I developed a pretty severe heal spur on my “good” foot and I need to have surgery. I just wish there was some quick easy way to KNOW when my money will be in the bank or know if there was an error or just KNOW SOMETHING!!
Still n/a for my return transcript and my account transcript has all 0s and “no return filed”. The last 3 yrs cycle codes have ended in 03, 02, 01 in that order chronologically. So if anyone can maybe decipher that info I’d be eternally grateful. Or if you can point me in the right direction to figure it out myself I’ll do the research myself.
February 4, 2015 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Accepted 1/20 and still no DDD, this post is for us #4101948@Jason I read somewhere that ppl with the 0502 cycle code would be getting a DDD of 2/06. So maybe you’ll get that DDD but WMR just isn’t updating properly or something. Hope it happens for you though.
Oh and in that same forum it said that ppl with 0000 in their return meant that they were being recycled for one reason or another. Idk if I for sure understood what it was saying as it was all a little discouraging.
Ugh this makes the 3rd year in a row I seemed to have gotten stuck in a slow moving group of returns. I filed and was accepted on 1/23 within a few hours so I was so hopeful that my return would be one of those with a 7-8 day turn around. But nooooo still sitting on one bar and transcripts both have n/a. I did just read another forum that said those of us that have n/a should update overnight. Anyone else hear anything g new?
February 4, 2015 at 6:45 pm in reply to: Common Questions answered here – Cycles, resequenced, blank transcripts, etc. #4101930So I filed and was accepted on 1/23 and I still have n/a under my account transcript and my return transcript for 2014. If I’m understanding you correctly, this means my return hasn’t finished processing? Does that also mean I fall into the group of ppl you mentioned at the beginning should she some sort of update tonight? I went and look at my return transcript for my previous last 3 years returns and 2011 code ends in 03, 2012 in 02 and 2013 in 01. Does that give any additional indications as to when I can expect an update or a DDD?
Btw correct or incorrect, thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge with us. So many of us are in desperate need of our refunds come February and idc if the info you give me is occasionally incorrect because you’re at least trying to help us understand it all and to provide us with information.
