They are doing an update guys. I called the hotline, and it too is unavailable. Breath a bit, and check back in the morning, or I’d say maybe an hour or so. This could be good news for us. Might be that massive update rumored that didn’t happen b/c of that “glitch” one rep said.

It has happened to me again…..no bars. When the bars disappear, be ready to call and find out what the issue is. Happened to me last year for the first time. It took 7 months to get my return. Come to find out, the SS office had not received the correct info from the my employer or something so the IRS couldn’t verify my W2s. I eventually got my taxes back plus some interest.

So although I too have no bars, I called the phone line, and this time instead of the 21 day message after the prompts, it says something different. It says when a refund date is available it will be updated. Any takers?

Someone posted in another forum about disappearing bars that the system overloaded and routed people to the next available cycle date. I’m in same situation early filer no bars, no offsets, called IRS still processing no flags. transcript for 2014 was available under old address today states doesn’t match info in file for both addresses. Hey all, I’m a bit worried.
I filled on the 11th and was accepted the next day, the 12th. Ever since then, WMR has had one bar. Yesterday, I tried ordering my transcripts, but could only get the account one, and only under my old address. Today, WMR no longer does anything, instead telling me I’m still being processed.
I did move towards the end of the year. My W2 had my old address on it, and I filed my 1040 with my current address. Am I in a bad situation? I filed with TT, like I have in all the years before and had no issue until this year.
I’m a bit nervous. We really need this to get back on our feet. I can’t afford to wait until April for my refund, or even later, haha.

Ok I did some research and this MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE so it say that WMR most likely already updated when our bars were taken away.. This means the return was kicked out of the computer and needs to be manually review by a irs agent. Problem could be minor and take no more than 3 days or a little more serious and take up to 3 months. Hopefully this is not the case…..

Thank you dallastxgirl best answer yet! There is hope whew! I filed accepted 1/14/2016 called they said no problems if no message to call or no letter in mail to contact them but did not elaborate. Everyone said flagged but that does not make sense. I just received thank you letter for tt yesterday. So maybe we are moving forward finally!

Ok filed on the 23 accepted on the 24th and first time I checked the state site it said no info the the next day it said they could not show info online and the two most common reason were address or or forgot the other reason from what I am hearing alot of people have gotten this message from the site also..??

I got the same DDD for 2/3 but when do you think they will send it to the bank. I know some prepaid cards are saying get it up to 2 days earlier. So I am hoping to get it sooner than the 3rd. Let me know when you think we will get it for sure

You’re right! I filed and return accepted 1/23. Was able to order transcripts on 1/29. Called offset number you listed and I had an offset of $400 for state taxes. The system said this offset for the “irs payment” dated 2/3. So that must be the date of my dd.
However!, wmr still shoes 1 bar as processing.

@bernadett0113 you can only order transcripts this year,last year you could actually download and see your cycle dates but they stopped that. but if you could order both account and return 2015 then you are most definitely approved and will be getting your $,I wouldn’t be worried about what they said until if you get rejected or you don’t get anther bar or update very soon

I’m always late each year getting my money but I’m hoping with netspend first time using it will help quicker plus I was accepted first day open 1/19 so we will for sure have our $ by next week. some ppl seem to think alot of us our getting our $ by Wednesday. Yeah this transcript situation scares the crap out of me because it might mean we won’t even see return transcripts until the 5th, then a DDD on the morning of the 6th, and our refunds won’t get deposited until the 10th.

Last year my account transcript became available on the 27th, my return transcript a week later on the 3rd, than a DDD that friday on the 6th. I hope I’m wrong but don’t be surprised if we’re stuck waiting for a week with no movement whatsoever. :/

I have been able to order my account transcripts but not my return transcript for several days now. I figured however that I would not see anything for my account till Monday because last year my account number ended in 05. We will see what happens this year.

I just tried to order both account and return transcripts. I’ve never done this before, but it said “your request has been received and will be mailed to the address we have on file for you in 5-10 days”… does that mean everything is okay? I filed on 1/19, accepted on same day but WMR bars never move. In the past 5 years my refund always showed on the 8th day after I filed… don’t know what’s changed.

During this week, unable to order either transcripts; offset hotline provides info on agency doing the offset (but nothing more).

Able to order both transcripts (efund and account) early this afternoon.
And when I called the IRS offset hotline this evening (as I have am offset), recording gave me my offset amount and also DDD of 2/3 (no update on WMR, still one bar).

After midnight, my one bar disappeared and instead have message “We are still processing your return”.
But with the IRS offset hotline, got my DDD of 2/3 like I mentioned above (WMR may update at 3-6am?) Thanks Elisa for the offset tip.

P.S. I’m up this late because baby keeps me up w fierce, fierce kicks at 34 wks, lol. So I’ll post any updates :)

Just a quick update and possible glimmer of hope…as I said I was accepted 1/11, was finally able to order both transcripts Friday morning after not being able to Thursday night. I knew I had no offsets but I tried calling 3 days ago and the automated line said No information available at this time and I just tried it again 5 minutes ago and it gave me a detailed there are no offsets at this time so I am taking that as a WIN, as in I am processed and that much closer to having a DDD.

I contacted the irs this morning for an unrelated issue but I was able to tie that issue in with my refund. I was concerned that the issue would affect my refund so I asked if she could check into my status..she was very nice and she was able to confirm that my DDD is scheduled for 2/3. She asked if I had checked WMR and I just had to laugh..I explained that I was still in one freaking bar. And just to confirm that there is some good information on here, I was not able to order my scripts yesterday and when I called the irs yesterday as well, I was told that it was still being processed. Then this am I was able to order them and confirmed later in the afternoon that DDD is 2/3…keep in mind that WMR is 1 bar.,i swear that tool is useless.

NOTE: just because we filed and we’re accepted early, only some of those test returns received the 1/29 DDD….I guess that is becoming pretty obvious…just passing on the good info…congrats to those who have received and or at least have DDD!

I was picked for identity by ohio state so I received the letter today and i had to get online and answer 4 questions and now it said i passed the security quiz so now my state return is being resumed to being processed
