Filed on 1/16 accepted on 1/17 but still no progress. Ugh. Now the only change is that tax topic 152 is there which wasn’t before. I don’t understand why others filled after me but they get their refunds or DDD date while I wait still. So frustrating as it’s never taken this long before.

Typically, if you receive an audit it’s from the previous year (or two). You would be notified by mail if you were being audited, and it would be around the beginning of tax time. If you’re being reviewed, there is no notification (unless by state, which I received). A review simply means it’s taking a bit longer to process due to errors and further evaluation. The computer corrects most errors, but some need to be reviewed by hand, just in case.
Hope this helps! No need to be frustrated, it’s all about the waiting game. I filed 1/12 and still nothing. Stay positive!

Accepted same day 1-14-2016 after all the waiting. I open the mail an to my surprise a IRS letter stating they need forms 8962 and form 1095-A Healthcare market place. Some of you might have this problem if you haven’t heard anything. Not saying it has or will. But I got a notice today. Must take 1095-A form and complete form 8962. I hope dont scare anyone. But the form is basically to see what months you had health insurance in 2015. Blah blah obama and his healthcare reform that will cost a lot of tax payers this year….Yay

@Stacy I really think we just got re-sequenced…slowly the 1/11’s and 1/12’s are getting approved. We’ll be likely taken care of sometime between Monday and Wednesday with a likely DDD of 2/5. POSSIBLY 2/12…but I’m almost certain it will be 2/5…that’s the longest before the three weeks is up for everyone on 1/19 who filed. Just be as patient as you can. That’s what I’m doing to keep my sanity lol

I just wanted to try to offer some consolation for those who have not yet received a ddd, I did some research and over the last three years, people have reportedly received ddd updates for Sunday mornings. I really hope they repeat that again this year!

9001 is not an audit code if you use a ss number on your return for one of your dependents to check know status that is the code that will show. Make sure u r using the right ss number if you are call the irs right away as some one may have claimed u or worse I’d theft. Just search Google and u will get the answer. Hope this helped

From what I’ve read…they don’t process on the weekend. I’m not sure how true that is. I can say this…Friday I was able to order my acct trans…and I have been checking for my return trans ALL day…no update.

You should always update your address when filing, to make sure you get up to date information from the IRS, it will update Tuesday more than likely.

Yes, I will update if I have changes tomorrow. I feel a little better, I heard from a few people today that this happened to them last year and it was just a system overload and they got their returns between a week to 3 weeks later. Still stinks being accepted on 1/11 and being stuck with no DDD. Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news!!

Apparently the updates happen between 3am and 6am, has anyone gained any bars on WMR that they didn’t have yesterday? Or reviewed a DDD that they didn’t have yesterday?

Or been able to order any transcripts get they weren’t able to order yesterday?

Since the irs doesn’t give much information, hearing other ppl situations helps.

I woke up this morning to 151 as well. I. Claimed everything the same as last year except I didn’t claim my biological son because this is his mom’s year to claim him (even though I have him 80% of the time and she is in a different state) but that is what we agreed to. And my address changed. I claimed my Girlfriends children just like last year since they live with me 100% of the time. So im the head of household. Was able to order transcripts Friday. Should I still get something this week?

Can someone please give me some insight. Accepted 1/19. Have one bar topic 152. I exceeded my limit today on WMR so I don’t know if that has changed. Can only order account transcripts. Tried to order by phone today and they could not match my ss #. Just tried to call the automated refund line and they could not match my ss# either . Although I called this am and they said I was processing . What is this? I’ve like disappeared . Any clues ? Please help if you have any info on this

I bank with Wells Fargo and was told they expect to receive and release my funds on 2/1. The Wells Fargo rep I talked to said they do not hold funds. I have checked deposited every week and always get a credit before the actual posting date. Hope this helps.

Last year my DDD was 2/11 and my return was being deposited to my Serve card. It deposited at 3:30am 2/11.

This was before they started the getting paid up to 2 days earlier. The beginning of last year my paycheck deposited the day I was suppose to get paid. Since around July 2015 I’ve been getting my paycheck deposited two days early…so I’m hoping my return comes early, we will see..
