Hello, I just wanted to give some people hope.

Received 2nd bar (Approved) 1/30 with DDD of 2/3

I have Rushcard which is a pre-paid card that will post DD’s up to two days earlier. I started calling Rushcard as of midnight EST. There was nothing. I just received an email from Rushcard stating the my tax refund has posted. FYI: WMR is still on 2nd bar. I hope this gives a little hope to those with DDD’s of 2/3 that have prepaid cards. To all others, hang in there. I can’t tell you how much I have been stressing since filing several weeks ago. In the future, I will file at the beginning of the actual season. This was just too stressful. And from one tax payer to another, I wish you all the best of luck!

Same here. I filed 1/25 & was accepted the same day. Last year it took 7 calendar days for federal and 14 for state. I’m still at one bar on federal. Can’t get any info from the state though.

I’m hopeful for a ddd this Friday or early next week. I filed with H&R block.

I went to republictaxpayer site and when I put in my info it says Invalid Log In. Does that mean that my deposit hasn’t been sent yet or is it not letting me in because I didn’t opt for the Serve card?

It doesn’t really bother me, however. If it follow the trend it did last year, It’ll post directly on the third which is fine by me…or it’ll post on the 4th which is pay day for me at my job. So either way, I’m good! Good luck to everyone!

im from ohio I filed with liberty tax been filing there for 6 years same 3 kids from previous tax returns lol so normally I get it back within 7 days I filed and was accepted 10 minutes later my guy says the 5th :) I filed 1/30 last year never got a ddd until 2/8 but my money got to my bank on 2/6 which meant they sent in a day or 2 prior since I had a skylight card this year deposits they say are running alittle behind, but they seem to get deposits better to their account so I went with them cutting me a paper check in office because that is way fast there is no pending it just goes right in. so im hoping for a ddd of the 5th as well….. ugh I really need the money so heres hoping we wake up to ddds tomorrow :(

After calling in ext 362 and answering the basic identity questions i was given the id protection number to call. Called and was on hold for 17mins before i got a rep in id protection to help me. That was the same 5084 number im sure others were told to call. I wouldnt call that number first however. He did see on my account that i had just been on the phone with someone else prior.

@Courtney I didn’t do anything special. I called the number on WMR and the extention 362.. It took about 15 minutes on hold for anybody to come to the phone.. But when someone did, she was very nice.. I guess I’m just lucky on that account.. Not everybody will be mean.. She put me on hold while she researched my account twice, said she wanted to make sure she didn’t miss anything… She gave me an ID number of who she was but I didn’t write that down.. I think some o f them just give you the generic response because they are tired of people calling.. I dialed the number at 7:05 a.m. Eastern time and they open at 7 so that might have something to do with it, I might have been the first call.. Hopefully it will change in a few days.. She said it probably would.. As of right now same message is on WMR..

Received letter from IRS a week after filing regarding healthcare marketplace credit warning that if I didnt report it this year that I would incur penalty.

Today I called IRS and and spoke to a robotic agent and said that no bars dont mean anything that they are still processing. To call after 21 days.

WTF is the point of filing early??

This is getting so frustrating. You have criminals getting money faster than legitimate filers.

Where do you guys get the information from that no bars is a goid thing?

Liberty Tax Ohio 1/27/16 still no ddd and they told me the 5th before I looked on any sites my wmr never updated last year either im thinking we are all in the group for the 5th they are processing just as fast just not updating lol

Heather, did you use netspend or your bank? I was hoping to maybe get mine earfly, not that it really matters, but not yet. I still dont see the TPG has received my funds. In the past I believe they show they got it at about 9am PST and I get my money in the afternoon… I live in WA state

I called the Oregon Dept of Revenue last week and they told me that they didn’t know why I was under manual review and to give it 30 days to call back and after somebody got around to looking at it. Well, I looked on TurboTax and it turned out that they had an Error specifically for Oregon state returns when filing Head of Household, I am pretty sure I was part of this error (not 100% though). I called TurboTax, they said they would notify the state to correct it. I called the IRS back and let them know that TurboTax had this Error and the man I spoke to was super nice and said he would notate it on my account.
Long story short, I checked my Oregon WMR on Friday 1/30 at night and the “Under Review” notice, that was on there, had been removed and replaced with the standard “Your return is being processed”.. So HOPEFULLY I will have my refund very shortly.

P.S. My fiancée filed her return and her WMR didn’t update until the day after she had already received her funds as well..

Called and spoke with Ms Kelly at irs. Said she shows rec’d on 1/20 from TA and I was re-sequenced.. No idea what that means other than being put back in line. She said everything was okay and not to worry about.

Filed TT 1/14/16 accepted 30 mins later, able to order account transcript on 1/29/16 but not return transcript, no movement on WMR still 1 bar tax topic 152……Spoke with a guy at the IRS today that said he could not see a reason anything that would stop the process of my return as of right now. He did say that they are processing returns now of people that file on the 14th through the 19th that got resequenced, no general idea as to why just that so many go through at one time and the others are pushed out for reswequencing f I don’t see a change by the 9th then to call back. He also stated if there is a problem with your return then it would show the error code on WMR.. Hope this helps those of us that are still waiting even though it’s really not much.

I filed 1/16/15 accepted 1/19/15. Status is accepted with tax code 152. I have been able to order account transcripts since last Tuesday and nothing else. I got my account transcript in the mail today and it has no info one it, not even my refund amount.

@DJ thanks for the reply! But it only said RECEIVED which is the first bar on WMR. Then it goes to APPROVED (which is when you get a DDD) then it says SENT. Mine never left the first bar. It just disappeared during the update on Saturday morning and showed the message about it being processed with no DDD.
