@NaturalMe (part 2)…Meaning, usually even account and wage and income won’t be clickable and will show the na and not 2022 until then. It was NOT my first login. In prior years, it has meant for some people that they were in the errors department. But, it can mean anything, including irs had a hiccup when they ran that batch through.
February 20, 2023 at 11:12 am in reply to: Blank Account Transcripts NOT N/A Account Transcripts #4530925@Chloe
Mine were like that last week..my first week they were all n/a..On 2/4 I filed TT, took the advance, owe fees. On 2/10 transcripts updated from n/a to show wages and income2022(blank) and account 2022(blank). 2/17 early morning all transcripts showed 2022 but blank…then in the afternoon they showed 846 ddd2/23.@Mona thanks!
February 20, 2023 at 8:47 am in reply to: Blank Account Transcripts NOT N/A Account Transcripts #4530929@Dani so far I’m hearing from people who have had this issue this tax season and had it resolved that it was resolved somewhere between 7 to 12 days. So, let’s hope!
February 20, 2023 at 8:45 am in reply to: Blank Account Transcripts NOT N/A Account Transcripts #4530927@NaturalMe actually, all four transcripts usually will be NA for most people until their return is entered in as “return filed” and they receive a cycle code prior to whenever it updates a few days later with an 846 code.
Same situation. Please @ me if your 2022 blank account transcript updates
February 16, 2022 at 5:42 pm in reply to: What does it mean when I have codes 150, 806, 766, and 768 but no 846 yet? #4511221Well, I have my own answer! Still can’t get on transcripts today, but filed on 2/10/22. CTC and EITC. Amex Serve. Deposit was there when I checked this afternoon!
Pt 2 of 2 (see below) I’m cycle code 20220702 and my 150 code is 03-07-2022. The others are 04-15-2022. As of date is 03-07-2022. I’ve NEVER had any of the above codes appear before my 846. They all appear at once or after the 846. Also, my 2021 return transcript is DONE. Is this good? 846 coming soon? Thanks
Pt 1 of 2 Last year and in 2020, I filed the day the season opened. I went over 28 days. Not 21, 28. I didn’t file this year until February 10th. I was accepted in less than 24. I checked my transcripts last night. I had codes 150, 766, and 768; no 846 yet. And yes, the codes were NOT for the advanced ctc payments. I have ctc balance and eic on this tax return.
February 23, 2021 at 1:21 pm in reply to: Anyone know the real reason for bars disappearing? #4458617(Part 2 of 2) 2 days or so later I received a DDD. I received my refund on 3/4 last year. Never even ended up talking to the actual tax advocate, but I’m convinced that requesting that they expedite due to hardship sped it up.
February 23, 2021 at 1:20 pm in reply to: Anyone know the real reason for bars disappearing? #4458616Yeah last year I was put under review and got a letter in the mail basically saying they were going to review mine for longer. After 21 days from acceptance date, I was able to request a tax advocate and to.expedite review due to hardship and to do that application, I had to answer a bunch of questions. (Part 1 of 2)
February 23, 2021 at 5:18 am in reply to: ANYONE WITH CYCLE CODE 20210703 AND A DDD OF 2/24 #445825805 is weekly, but doesn’t the daily and weekly think only affect when your WMR and transcripts are updated and not when your deposit is sent? Correct me if I am wrong and all…
@TaxCandae that makes a lot of sense.
@elled81 you were probably resequenced.
Thanks, Kelly. That’s promising. I have heard of a couple people now with a 2/23 DDD. I can’t view transcripts online, but hoping mine is coming. But thanks for indicating you used lookback because I am tired of hearing that rumor that it will delay taxes until June or something crazy.
@kittykatatethetiger
I’ve also been wondering why it’s so slow on here this year. I’ve come up with two possible reasons. One, the IGMR FB page is really active and two, I think because of TT etc providing refund anticipation loans this year, a lot of people aren’t as desperate to know as usual.Hey everyone, since some people are stating that there may be a delay for those of us who used the Lookback Option (used 2019 agi to determine credits), can people who get deposits or DDD please mention whether they used this option? Thanks

Some Chimers just posted that they received. Dk if it was for 2/22 DDD though
@Nebula yup, some posted that they did right after your post
People aren’t posting it here, but as an update, Varo and NetSpend with 2/22 DDD are receiving now
There are people who have DDD already with it. Believe me
@Nurseynursenurse444
It is down. The FB IGMR group literally broke it@Nurseynursenurse444
You won’t get resequenced. But you have to first go to irs.gov and create an account. They give you that option if you Google “get irs transcripts online.” Some people can’t look at their online transcripts because you have to verify your ID by providing certain account numbers of things they don’t have e.g. credit card or auto loan etc.No, that’s cool though. You’re going to get it this evening to tomorrow morning depending on your bank. I don’t have it bc I paid upfront this year and didn’t get an advance bc I use TaxSlayer.
Hundreds of PATH people on the FB IGMR page updated to say their transcripts updated today for a 2/22 DDD
So hundreds of PATH people on FBs IGMR said their transcripts updated today for a 2/22 DDD. FYI
February 17, 2021 at 8:13 am in reply to: IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN IT IS BEING PROCESSED AND IT IS STILL BEING PROCESSED #4454394No there isn’t a difference. The below is called a coincidence and is unrelated.
According to IGMR, mass updates usually occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 3a and 6a EST for WMR. Transcripts usually update Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the day. However, updates to either can occur any time and you can be considered a “daily” or “weekly” update. Search the information pages for more info
Claiming one dependent does not actually make you path necessarily. If the person did not have enough earned income or too much earned income for credits, then they could not received EITC or ACTC. But in most cases, especially when they’re stalking these forums, they are Path.
@Ryan test batches typically receive refunds one week prior to others. People have already stated they have seen 2/18 as a DDD on their transcripts. I wish I could view mine online.
I agree with the below. One year I worked for a lawyer who said I was an independent contractor as a paralegal. He was slow getting the 1099 out but we agreed on a number that would be on there. I filed my taxes. After I had filed, he sent the 1099 with a higher number. It didn’t delay anything and I don’t think they adjusted anything either.
I don’t know but I would call the customer service line of the tax software you used and ask for their help and advice.
February 14, 2021 at 7:39 am in reply to: Lost bars, lost 152, show amount and still processing #4453100No, I’m not. But this has happened to me before. It doesn’t mean anything.
@StimulateMeinAZ hypothetically. But the IRS is projecting DD the first week of March for most. Most of the people accepted into the test batch (prior to February 12th), will receive their deposits (whether subject to PATH or not) about a week earlier. Obviously if there is something holding up a return, whether it got flagged for a human review or something, it will delay it.
@kittykatatethetiger thanks, no I was responding to someone who said they were being held until 2/27 this year and I found the article they were quoting, but it was from 2017. And it didn’t even say that anyway. I know it’s not an automatic DDD on 2/15. The IRS said most people’s WMR will update on 2/22 this year. Sorry for the confusion, I was addressing multiple different posts in several posts of my own.
I looked at this February 27th date article again. If it is the one I saw, it was published in 2017. From what I could fine anyway, the IRS says WMR refund will be updated for most February 22nd and most will receive refund the first week of March.
And BTW, I read the article about the February 27th date. It doesn’t actually say they’re being held until February 27th. It says that people with credits shouldn’t expect them until that week. These are different statements. I’m assuming by law the IRS only has to hold them until February 15th as usual, but will still do its usual checking etc.
@Gracie for people who got accepted early into the test batch, I’ve seen people say they have a DD of 2/18 on their transcript. I saw a person who was accepted yesterday say they had a DD on their transcript of 3/1.
@twinheidi yes, this is basically supposed to help people who were on unemployment. Unemployment is not earned income, so it can’t be used for the credits. I don’t know about the person below mey post’s situation, but in my case I had higher income, much higher, but could use LAST year’s AGI for my credits bc my earned income was lower.
@Monica many people got accepted into the test batch, but many didn’t. Many also got accepted on 2/12, but if you look on these threads, many didn’t yet. The IRS typically accepts returns within 48 hours of opening and the ones that were accepted prior to 2/12 were test batch. The IRS is probably just clogged due to late tax season start and people needing money due to pandemic. Try not to worry just yet.
@DLT you don’t have credits correct? Like EIC or CTC? I know it sounds like a dumb question since the IRS doesn’t disburse those refunds until February 15th…but just wondering if maybe that means the actual DD and your credit union just made it available today. But it’s probably the date the IRS starts disbursement…i.e. hits “send.”
I just wanted to comment that I’ve noticed a lot of “paid fees upfront” notes on people’s threads. I am wondering if it is more than usual because of the stimulus payment debacle. SBTPG sent me mine, but I still elected to pay upfront this time. Really it didn’t make sense not to at any rate. Used TaxSlayer..under $12 with a coupon. Would’ve been $50 if I paid with my refund.
@LolaR I don’t know the answer to your question, but they have given everyone student loan payment extensions, which would make it hard to offset them. Regardless, I know a very simple way you can make sure your refund is not offset for loans. Call and make a payment arrangement and ask for a 60 day forbearance. If it’s in forbearance, it is no longer delinquent.
@chad usually the tax software or whatever will send an email, and it is that date. In my case, I just saw it when I logged on to my tax software site this morning and it was on WMR this morning after I checked. It wasn’t on WMR yesterday. The IRS usually updates overnight, so I assume it was accepted yesterday.
@michelle85 846 is refund issued. This site lists different codes so check your transcript against them to ensure the date means your DD
@michelle85 it sounds like it’s good. I believe there is a specific code that means the refund was approved. I think it’s listed on the info pages on this website. Don’t quote me but I think it’s 841
@thicks they always say “by the first week of March.” Always. I usually see it on my Serve card between the 19th and 23rd. They just say the beginning of March to give ample time.
And finally, I read what the first person said and that’s incorrect. You CAN file a return and be claimed as a dependent on a separate return. So it is whether or not the 17 year old backs up her mom or says anyone else can claim her and if they in fact do.
Btw, I answered your question, but I’d like to add: Idk why you want to be involved, but with things like what you describe, it’s best to stay out of it unless say, these kids are your dependents and it affects your finances or the 17 year old needs help and asked you and should be actually receiving the credits.
(PART 2 OF 2) I say they may take a closer look if she did not claim them last year because I claimed my son the first year of his life (no problem) and then his father manipulated the system and got custody of him for a time the following year. Did not claim him then. Got sole custody back and claimed him last year, the IRS did take a closer look but I got what was due in end.
(PART 1 OF 2) If the 17 year old files and puts her address as her mother’s and states someone else can claim her as a dependent, unless someone other than this woman you speak of claims these dependents; it’s unlikely it will flag the IRS system.
That said, if this woman did NOT claim them last year, without the above discrepancies flagging it, the IRS may take a closer look
If we were accepted before the 12th, does that mean we were definitely in the test batch? Also, does being in the test batch for return acceptance mean we will also be in the test batch for refund disbursement?
@bowl what difference does it make if they claim eitc “AND CTC/ACTC” or just the eitc? It’s still subject to the Path Act.
Same as @Lisa. I used TaxSlayer and didn’t receive an acceptance email yet, but when I logged onto TaxSlayer, my return was accepted. I then checked on IRS app, one bar with Tax Topic 152.
Filed 2/10, accepted either 2/11 or 2/12. Path Act.
I filed 2/10 with TaxSlayer. Nothing yet. Wondering how long EITC and ACTC will take THIS year. They say by first week of March, but..
@Jaymz if you scroll through this thread and back to Friday and Saturday, you’ll see that many TurboTax people received it. Today, it doesn’t seem like anyone has yet
@Dad01 I have TaxSlayer and they use SBTPG for fees just like TT. I received an email from TaxSlayer on Thursday that they were working on getting me my deposit. On Friday, at 135 pm, I received my deposit. I have Amex Serve that posts a business day or so prior to regular banks. Sometimes closer to two days.
@janet I used TaxSlayer, had fees…got eip on Friday afternoon.. if you had traditional banks, it’ll likely be Monday
@DanB (part 2 of 2) they said they can’t reissue payments that went to wrong accounts, but perhaps if you state an urgent need for the EIP, they’ll mail you a check rather than forcing you to wait until your tax refund.
@DanB (part 1 of 2) according to various sources, no way to change it. However, with that said, I would try to call the IRS (see my post a few pages in this thread on how to speak to a human at the IRS, it’s not as simple as just calling and selecting what you think are right selections), tell them the issue and perhaps if you can verify the info of the old account, they can mail you a check to the address on file.
@merch guy no, sbtpg made an agreement with irs to be allowed to forward them. Check out the section of their website called “stimulus checks that they updated yesterday
@loyalone yeah I got mine at 135
Amex Serve is a pretty early card w deposits. They’re always one of the first
Amex Serve hit at 135 pm. Used Taxslayer who took fees out of refund with SBTPG. There is hope! See you in a few weeks. Congrats @linn and hope you gets yours soon. @Chimer !!!
Seems like TT is sending the deposits now. Did anyone left here use Taxslayer with fees deducted through SBTPG? If so, please let us know if you got yours or post when you do.
@bluebird by amex hang in there, I have Amex and I’m still waiting. I used Taxslayer but they are doing same thing with sbtpg sending them through. Lets hope
@loyalone i I have Amex Serve too. Just wondering who you did taxes through and if you had fees deducted? I used taxslayer and had fees taken out through sbtpg
No, they said some should start to receive them today.
I used TaxSlayer who has fees taken out of my refund by SBTPG. They sent me an email tonight that deposits are now being processed and I should receive a deposit soon. Since TT also uses SBTPG and said many people will begin to receive deposits today, I’m hopeful that my Amex Serve card might see something today.
And BTW I know about the TT emails etc but SBTPG works with other companies like TaxSlayer, so thought this post would have a broader stroke. Please see below.
I am sure this has been posted at least once, but SBTPG announced yesterday that they will be forwarding money to our accounts instead of sending them back to the IRS. If you Google SBTPG, there will be a section called “Stimulus Payments ” on the Google Search result for SBTPG and on 1/7, they updated that to state the above.
They say around January 8th
This article details which companies are doing what for the issue.
