Hi. Thought I would join in since I am a weekly. My 2014 Account Tscript finally showed up this morning. I filed on 1/12 and was accepted on 1/13. WMR bars went away on 1/15 along with my refund amount and hasn’t shown back up since. I was happy to see my account transcript but it really doesn’t have much on it besides our names, address and SSNs. It does show FEB. 16, 2015 out beside ACCOUNT BALANCE. It also states “RETURN NOT PRESENT FOR THIS ACCOUNT”, that bothers me but I am hoping that it is just needing time to update.
My bar and refund amount went missing on 1/15/15. My return was accepted on 1/13/14 with TaxAct. I had this exact same thing happen last year and it came back up a few days later with a DDD and my approved bar showing refund amount. I’m hoping we all have that same outcome with no issues.
Hey! I’m back again for another year! I recognize some names in here. Hope you all are doing well! Is it too late for me to join this party? My taxes are ready to be submitted through TT but I’m having to wait on that darn 1095-a form from the Marketplace before I can hit that file button. I’m impatient and just want to get this over with. Our tax situation is a little more complicated than last year. Ugh.
Just checking in on “the Club”. Nothing here to report other than my “pizza tracker” was taken away early this morning & my refund amount disappeared also. I haven’t been able to log into the WMR or transcript system most of the day, I keep getting technical error 123( for internal use only ) for the transcripts and the red unavailable statement for the WMR. I haven’t used up all of our log-ins so I know I’m not locked out.
I still can’t believe that my return wasn’t pulled for processing until yesterday…which explains my situation. Took me 4 transfers to get an answer…and so far what he told me was right. Nothing at all is wrong with my return. They pulled at random. Software/Server issues at hubs, and who knows what else…
I have gave up on seeing any refund on 2/6. The rep told me at the earliest for my return would be next week sometime. Heres to waiting and wishing….

@trunks I was told the same thing from TT earlier, said software issue. Figures we’d be in that batch huh?
Agreed! I was “acknowledged” 1/28 at 3:15PM EST, because after that I was showing up on WMR. And they say the only update once a day….. I then noticed that TT changed my accepted date to 1/23/14 on their site and on the app. Too much bs is going on.
I remember my hubby saying he got the email from TT later that evening saying ” Congrats, your return was accepted early by the IRS!” I said, I know…we have been showing up on WMR with 1 bar for a couple of hours by then.
Im so confused.
I spoke to TT, actually a supervisor. He said that at least our return was accepted successfully, no reject codes. He stated that the “people” we are talking to when we call any IRS numbers ( for now due to high call volumes ) is someone that received the call at a call center hired by them, so we spoke to a third party. Most calls are being forwarded. Makes sense.
*So for the (2)comment above …I didn’t argue with an agent, just a woman with a bad attitude, I’m not worried about her at all :) Apparently, she did not know what she was talking about since if I am able ( like many others ) to see our return on WMR. I will not take anyone calling me a liar or calling others liars, I will stand up for myself and others. That is not respectful of a customer service rep. to talk to people in that manner.
Anyways, TT said that they have received numerous calls about the hold ups, he said Memphis and another location ( he didn’t say the name ) that all they (TT) know is that there is a software issue at these 2 locations and that the entire system has been malfunctioning and crashing. He said to keep a track of it daily and if we do not see any progress by 2/20 ( in my case) to call the IRS back because then they can no longer hold the 21 day disclaimer over our heads.

I called a tax advocates ( Misty ) bluff a little bit ago. I posted about it in the main area here but the lady called me a liar. I tried starting the conversation very pleasantly, nicely told her Good Morning…I told her my reason for calling. I do need a transcript as I stated in the main forum for my FAFSA and my daughters FAFSA. I stated that I all was getting was the 2013 with the asterisk when I tried pulling my transcripts but I did had one bar on WMR with TT152 and that I have had that same status since 1/28/14. She gave the the whole script about waiting 21 days and its too soon to view any transcripts since they just opened on 1/31/14. I said okay, but I have seen people getting DDD and their refunds being approved PLUS they are able to view their transcripts.
I asked if Memphis agency was an issue, she did not respond. She stated and I quote, ” There is no way anyone has any direct deposit dates nor transcripts, they are lying if they say they do! It takes at least 3 weeks to process from when we opened and it takes up to 21 days to receive any refund”. I said, ” Well I am looking at my WMR screen now and clearly see that my return was received and that it is being processed, and that the amount of the refund and last 4 of SS# was showing on the left side, so it looks like to me, that you Ma’am, are the one lying or reading a script.” She said, ” No you’re the liar” Then she hung up lol.
I know I shouldn’t have called but I am needing this transcript but I called a number for Greensboro, NC IRS tax advocacy, not the main IRS line. I know people say that calling in slows them down, no I disagree….maybe if I.T. would get their booties over to Memphis & Philly, this “glitch” would get resolved. The computers and technical engineers are the ones working….those people are in a call center, they don’t touch the paper or computer files, unless they are in the proper part of the agency that does.
My point is, They know what is going on but refuse to let us in on it. I don’t see why they have to be so tight lipped about it, especially when it is our personal information they are toying with. It is very frustrating. I have found that if you are honest from the get go, you get a lot farther in this world. People may not want to hear or accept the truth, sometimes it may hurt their feelings but I’d rather be told the truth any day than to be made a fool of. Sorry, for the long post. I thought you guys would like to know.
No updates at all. I’m flat out confused.

gs79: I hear ya….No love. They need to be getting their act together. I feel like we were a bunch of mice that were used for their testing purposes.

@MountainMan: I doubt it, but can’t make any promises. I would think they would possibly ( if I remember correctly ) place a some sort of code on your WMR status page that tells of an offset. Then they would just take whatever is owed out of your current refund and then you’ll get the rest.
Just a thought, is it a possibility that when the winter storm hit Atlanta hard this past week that it shut down their HUB there for a while? I know I seen the coverage on the news and how bad it affected everything. Maybe Atlanta’s processing traffic was bypassed to Memphis and PA?

@MountainMan: It’s a federal offset? If so, my hubby had one back a few years ago. They simply took it out before they released the DD to our account. We didn’t have a delay at all with that…
@Trunks: They will probably make you wait until in the morning. I have been able to log in unlimited times on the IRS2go app though…
@Meandmykids: I have that also but one thing I am waiting to change is that TT had me spell out “Road” on our address, on the non-filing letter it still has “Rd” from how it was last year. I don’t see this as an issue for me but it makes me think that its not updated properly yet. They might over look it and see that mine is the same address, at least I’d hope they wouldn’t be that picky. I hope we see updates in the morning! If not, then I’m not sure what to do.
Just gotta say, wouldn’t it be lovely to wake up to a nice DDD on that WMR in the morning? That would totally make me smile on a Monday, and that’s a miracle to see happen even without a refund coming :)
@Steph336: They always figure out a way to take ours too. Haven’t received one in 2 years. I checked to see if my hubby or I had offsets and we are clear. I know we do not owe any back taxes. You would think as much self employment taxes we had taken out of our upcoming refund that they would hurry up with them… more money in the governments pockets. I know it was almost $4k worth of self employment taxes they would be receiving.
I looked at the info from the link that was provided up the page…… NC transmits state returns to PA? I did not know that. Goodness..
I logged into NCs “wheres my refund” and I have this now: Your 2013 tax return has not been processed. It states it updates daily at 6pm. I know where I will be at 6:01pm today to check since I filed Friday evening.
I’m more concerned about this Federal return than anything though. I wish WMR would update in real time. Isn’t it odd how it did once we were accepted? Makes you think….
I’m not going to be able to get much sleep tonight. I have gave up on the transcripts. I’ve seen a lot of people saying they got their DDD without being able to order or view them. This reminds me of the 2011 filing season. I was a club 1/30er then. I hope not this year.
Yeah mine is a little confusing. We had to file schedule C since my hubby Is self employed, so had to pay to file that through TT and didn’t want to spend any extra money on state filing. I did the same last year with no issues. This year has me stumped.
Hey. I hope it’s okay that I come in and join. I filed 1/23 and was finally accepted 1/28 but I’m processed through Memphis and I also am stuck with one bar, tt152, and no transcripts except for the non-filing one with the asterisk *.
I filed my NC state return Friday night 1/31/14 since that was the first day NC allowed free file on their site. My NC return is saying processing so I don’t know if that will hold up my DDD with the IRS. opinions?
I filed married filing joint with dependents. No education credits. Pretty simple return as usual.
I used TT for the first time and filed 1/25 & accepted 1/27. WMR updated for me this morning to DD of 2/4. I used the free edition so no fees, its coming straight to my checking. I’m relieved.
I know right? I feel like a test subject. Guess we’ll know something tomorrow…hopefully.
I used the free edition of TT, so I didn’t have to pay any fees. I’m having my refund DD into my checking account.
I was also accepted on 1/27/13. Filed with TurboTax on 1/25/13 :)
