WMR still is on verify page.
When I click to verify on wmr –> IDme –> page states we cannot help you, if you verified it takes 21 days…
Transcripts: top two = NA, bottom are still blank w/as of 2/19 (no movement).
Patiently waiting but patience is wearing very thin.
This whole tax season has a been a nightmare for some of us. It seems to happen mostly to those of us that filed in January or really early February (I filed 1/28 accept 1/29).
No one wants to admit (especially the IRS) that “something” happened on their end with the “NEW IMPROVED” updated software system. I’m not sure who actually is in charge of this million dollar improvement, but the nincompoops that put it in place must never have done any dry run to check it because it sucks.Checked my informed delivery this AM and there IS a letter from IRS. Last time I got a letter from IRS it was a “Thank you for using IDme”, lol. I can only hope this one has my 14 digit code! Not getting my hopes up though.
Filed 1/28 accepted 1/29. Top two still NA. No updates with an as of date of 2/19. Have not received any verify letter & nothing in todays mail either.
Pretty mad myself. My refund: Filed 1/28 accepted 1/29 on wmr. Then needed to verify. IDme w/video that was verified 2/3. Weekly, so following Sat woke up to ‘processing’. Yeah! Oops, nope. Following Wed (iirc) went back to verify where it has sat in limbo since. Transcripts are top two NA & bottom two blank w/as of 2/19. Requested letter TWICE! Nothing, nada, zip, zilch. No irs near me to verify in person and can’t get anyone to pick-up at nearest 90 miles away office?

Just woke up to another verify statement on wmr. Transcripts are still NA (top) blank (bottom). I’ve always been weekly, so now I’ve got to wait until next week to see what exactly is going on. My as of date is 2/19 (holiday and irs closed) and has stayed that way since beginning. Saw someone with a wmr verify request say they already go their deposit? This is year taxes are turning out crazy.
My WMR updated back to verify. Not sure what the heck is going on at the irs right now. But this will be the second time I’ve requested a letter and I was accepted on opening day!
My WMR went from verify to processing to back to verify this AM. Very frustrating.
I was stuck in the verify glitch and now I don’t know where I’m at, lol. I filed 1/28 and accepted a few days later through FreeTax. I’m usually accepted the first day which was weird.
My as of date hasn’t moved from 2/19 though and I did use a no hold bank this year. I’m hoping soon. VERY soon for ddd. Everyone says they need their money now, but dang, inflation is even rough in my LCOL area <sigh>.
I filed 1/28 and still sitting with top two transcripts @ N/A. Of course, I was also one one of the ones who was glitched with the verify letter, so idk. My as of date hasn’t changed from 2/19 though so hoping for an update soon.
Checked on my tax account online and there wasn’t a letter sent, so I requested another one. We’ll see if I actually get one this week. My guess is they will start sending after the 21 days, but I need mine *now* . Got no time to wait months for my refund.
I’m going to calculate how much exactly I need to pay a year and have that taken out of my pay. No more giving the government my hard earned money to sit on. It’s not like they give us interest on it every year for overtaxing us.
