I filed our amended with a TAS on May 8th. They didn’t receive it until 5/29. Been checking every damn day for the last 3 months. Finally ot the 846 code today for 6/12! I’m a happy lady!
Woke up to an 846 of 6/12!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! I paid fees up front, do they release the deposit early to be deposited on that date?
I’m ready to get a TA.
2/16 – Filed/Accepted (According to TurboTax) within 15 mins.
2/20 – According to a phone call to the IRS, our return wasn’t “actually” accepted until 2/20.
2/23 – (On or around that date) Lost all bars and Topic 152 and status changed from “…it is being processed” to “…it is STILL being processed. A refund date will be provided” Our refund amount remained.
3/4 – Called IRS to get a copy of my transcript faxed to me. They said either a 4883C or a 5071C letter was mailed out on the 24th of Feb and they couldn’t re-mail it until the 11th of March.
3/7 – Called IRS again to see how I could view to my transcripts bc it kept giving me a message stating “A technical problem has occurred” and to try my request again later. It has said the same thing for the past three years. She said due to a data breach in 2016, I would never be able to have online access for my safety. ???? She re-sent the letter and stated that it was a 4883C.
3/8 – Received a 5071C letter in the mail that was printed on Friday, 3/6.
3/9 – ID verified. She said that it COULD take up to 9 weeks to process but probably won’t.
3/13 – WMR status changed back to “… and is being processed.”
3/17 – Received 4883C letter that was printed/dated 3/14 (3 days after ID verifying)..I didn’t call again by I had already passed.
3/18 – I called the IRS today and talked to a woman who said I would be getting a 5071C letter in the mail. I told her I had already gotten one AND I had called and passed the verification process. She said, “We’ll, in that case, you should receive a letter or your refund after nine weeks has passed.” She also faxed my transcripts to me, still says no return filed.

I went from “is still being processed” to “being processed” as of this morning! Hoping to get a DDD this weekend!
I’ve read where some ppl update to a DDD after a few days and some a couple weeks but for the most part I’m seeing the usually ppl are seeing their refunds in about two weeks after verifying.
Update for me/us: called Monday and tried to order transcripts but they were both blank. Called Tuesday to order trans and they were blank. Called today to see if the had updated and the guy said I was selected for ID verification and a letter went out on Feb 25th. It’s March 6th and I haven’t received it yet…. but they can’t resend it until March 11th. 😩 The rep told me it would be 9 weeks after verifying before we would get our return. Does it really take that long? Does the fact that we got selected for ID verification mean that they now have to do a manual review of our return? I’m so over this $#@!
Update on mine: I filed and was accepted on 2/16. I didn’t know until yesterday when I called the IRS that they didn’t really “accept” it until the 20th which is probably around the time my bars disappeared. I had my transcripts faxed today and both my account and return are still blank for 2018. I am unable to access them online.
WMR still just has my refund amount and the “still processing” message. No codes, no more Topic 152, no bars.
I just received my “Thanks for choosing Turbo Tax” email that I’ve received every year three says before getting my DDD. WMR still has me stuck on “still processing” with refund amt. I did have Topic 152 but it disappeared when my bars did.
I filed and was accepted on Feb 16th. EITC/CTC Never updated to PATH. WENT from 1 bar, refund amount and Topic 152 to “still being processed” about a week or so later and have been stuck there ever since. No codes, no 152, I can still see my refund amount. I can’t see my transcripts online and as of the 19th when I ordered my transcripts, there was no record of my return yet. Soo… I know that I was a weekly the past few years so unless I got resequenced or something else happened, i thought I would see an update this morning. Maybe tomorrow morning? My 21st day isn’t until a week from now. Trying to be patient!
I completely understood what you were trying to say… it just hurt my brain a little bit getting there 😜 Whatever day you update depends on your cycle code. Whether or not you are a daily or a weekly and the only way you can get that number is from your transcripts.

We have had that happen every year. This year we filed 2/16 and were accepted four mins later. Our bars and tt 152 disappeared a few days ago and all I see is the “still processing” message. Waiting on transcripts in the mail. We’ve been watching for that email though because it means we get some money within 24-48 hours!!!!
XOXOXO is right… I had my fees taken out up front as well every year thinking it would speed up the process but it hasn’t. Every year it has shown up on my DDD. It comes overnight between 330 and 6 AM. It wont even show as a pending deposit, unfortunately.
I bank with them as well. I paid my fees up front hoping that would speed the process up. My best friend got the same DDD and got her refund on Friday even before WMR updated that her DDD was the 22nd. I just assumed that they would have sent mine the same day but that I wouldn’t get it Sat or Sun bc of the weekend and Mon bc of the holiday but I thought that I would at least have seen it this morning…. I usually get deposits around 3:30 AM or so but never saw anything… still haven’t…. so I guess its not coming today! Ugh! I don’t wanna wait until the 22nd! Lol.
I use WF as well and paid my fees upfront. DDD 3/15. Haven’t seen a thing yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I looked into last years dates and I got the email three days before my DDD appeared! That’s really cool… never knew that!

I got the email on Tuesday and today I was able to order my return and account transcripts! Maybe she’s right! I paid up front fees though.
Filed/Accepted 2/20, Bars & refund amt disappeared four days later. Tax Topic 152 and message saying that my return is STILL being processed (not “BEING processed”) Im learning there is a difference. Not able to order transcripts yet. I can’t even log into the site because it says that its having technical problems. Says that when I call the transcript line as well.
This is happening to me as well. At least we aren’t the only ones. I am able to enter my username and password and then it takes me to that screen. SO ANNOYING.
It’s giving me the same error message. Any luck for you?
I filed on 2/1… a few mins after mid and was accepted just a few hours later. Still at one bar and cannot order my transcripts…. neither account nor my return. What’s going on? :-(
